    I completely agree about dialysis not being the only option. My grandma opted for conservative care and it gave her an extra 3 years of good quality life.

      @PureNutrition101  21 день тому

      Thank you for sharing your grandmother's experience. Conservative care, which focuses on symptom management and quality of life rather than aggressive medical interventions, can indeed be a valuable option for some individuals with kidney disease. It's essential for patients and their families to explore all available treatment options and make informed decisions based on their unique circumstances and preferences. Have you encountered any challenges or concerns when discussing treatment options with your healthcare team?

    My Neprologist immediately placed me under dialysis treatment after being admitted just for three days due to high blood . I was never imformed about the ❤Maximal Concept of treatment. Now i’m on dialysis for more than three years. At the outset I dis not want to be placed on dialysis but the nephrologist insisted. Is there still a chance to get things right? Or how can I recover from this, I believe, an aggressive treatment, which I believe is taken without consideration of other means to get treated. I was 74 years old when place under dialysis. Now my blood pressure is down in the range of 120/78 and 140/ 90. I believe the Nephrologist did the dailyssi for economic reason and not therapeutic…money and not care.

      This is very sad, and very unprofessional from ur nephrologist. Many doctor now a days are prescribing wrong treatment method for their patients. This mafia should be stopped.

    • @PureNutrition101
      @PureNutrition101  21 день тому

      I'm sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like a challenging situation. It's important to have open communication with your healthcare team, including your nephrologist, about your treatment preferences and concerns. If you feel that your treatment plan isn't aligning with your goals or needs, it's crucial to discuss alternatives and explore all available options. Remember, you have the right to advocate for yourself and seek a second opinion if necessary. Now, how have you been coping with the challenges of dialysis treatment, and have you found any strategies that help you manage its effects on your daily life?

    • @PureNutrition101
      @PureNutrition101  21 день тому

      I understand your frustration, and it's important to address concerns about medical treatment. While there may be instances of mismanagement, it's essential not to generalize and undermine the entire medical profession. Collaboration between patients and healthcare providers is crucial for effective care. If you feel you've received inappropriate treatment, seeking a second opinion or discussing your concerns with a patient advocate can be beneficial. Now, have you encountered challenges in communicating with your healthcare team, and how have you navigated through them?

    can you do all 3 at the same time? take charocal and arabic gum at the same time?

    • @PureNutrition101
      @PureNutrition101  13 днів тому

      It's generally safe to take activated charcoal and Arabic gum together, but it's important to space them out. Activated charcoal can potentially interfere with the absorption of other medications or supplements if taken simultaneously. Have you consulted with a healthcare provider to ensure these supplements fit into your overall health regimen safely?

    I want to know what works and what doesn't in low protein diets.

    • @PureNutrition101
      @PureNutrition101  День тому

      In low protein diets for CKD, it's important to focus on high-quality proteins like lean meats, fish, eggs, and dairy in limited amounts. Plant-based proteins such as beans, lentils, and tofu are also good options. Avoiding high-protein foods like red meat and processed meats helps reduce kidney workload. Have you found any specific foods or strategies particularly effective in your low protein diet?

    I WOULD LIKE TO LEARN ABOUT LOW PROTIEN DIET' i HAVE PROTIENIERA

    • @PureNutrition101
      @PureNutrition101  21 день тому

      It's great that you're interested in learning about a low protein diet! A low protein diet typically limits the intake of protein-rich foods like meat, poultry, fish, dairy, and legumes. Instead, focus on incorporating more fruits, vegetables, grains, and low protein alternatives. Proteinuria, the presence of excess protein in the urine, may require dietary adjustments, but it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice. Have you discussed your dietary preferences and concerns with a healthcare provider yet?
