It also craps the bed when the ickle shift-lock solenoid stops doing its thang. :-) You then get to buy a new selector unit or get your old one repaired - except sod all repair them. We do, but semantics.
According to the dash, it is on S, Sport mode. In Sport mode, it stays in the lower gears longer. Try D, Drive. 😅
