Its a crime that this band only draws a crowd this size. I would consider myself honored to be in the presence of true musical genius if I was able to see them live.
There’s a guy online who does death metal streams and learns death metal song his name is dean lamb I bet he would love this band. Idk if he’s going to be able to cover this tho
Yeah i don't think Dean will be able to cover something like this, I've seen him suffer and struggle with far less complex stuff, this will just tear him apart
Relentless Mutation just may be the best death metal album of all time. I'm old and watched the birth of the genre. Archspire is next level. This is a fantastic live video. Props Dr. Light you got a new sub.
I second this. It came a long way until bands like Dying Fetus, Origin, Born of Osiris and others, started stepping up. This is the next level. Also, at some point I started believing the drummer (Spencer Prewett) was a robot. I am still not convinced he isn't.
honestly the only death metal I can listen. It's not my stuff obviously, mainly listening to periphery, veil of maya, and monuments. but this album is damn fun, I love how it mixed
Wow, can't believe they're so good on live! As a tech death junkies i believe Archspire are the band to beat right now in tech death world. Also this video have a very clean sound. Even the bass is audible. Thank you, Doc! You got a new subscriber! \m/
To play bass for Archspire you must 1. Have amazing hair 2. Have a power stance unmatched by anyone in the band 3. Look fabulous while head banging 4. Have inhuman bass playing abilities
Ya dude. The sound on this is fucking phenomenal. It really allows you to appreciate how good these guys are. Not sure how you did it exactly, but nice work.
I don't know how good the main act would have to be for me to not be going to a gig just to see them if they were a support act. One of my goals in life is to see Archspire live.
@@Celatra there is no way you are being serious. When you do exhales you breathe in before each delivery, with inhales you breathe out before each delivery. You dont breathe out before doing exhales that would be counterintuitive.

Subbed my friend ;) I've been searching for quite some time for an accurate representation of a live "bass drop/808 drop" which represents (as best it can through a video while wearing over ear headphones) the sheer pressure/power they let out. I'm still searching live footage and have not found that one good clip yet but maybe this is the channel where I'll find it! Your videos sound very good.
@@DrLightProductions ua-cam.com/video/tD5d_qSMWmk/v-deo.html Check this out, the bass drops come across as close to being in the venue as I've been able to find in any live footage. Finally found that "one" video that accurately represents the power of specifically bass drops. (Don't miss the one at 1 35 !!!) ... I've been looking through vids of bands that I know use drops live here and there for the past ~6 months, was determined as mentioned above to find the right vid haha.
they definitely have been influenced by classic music but this composition imo is based on a baroque style. I mean it’s closer to Bach and Vivaldi style then to Mozart’s (classical). And this is the reason I found that song absolutely astonishing. Although you are right, Requiem is more closer to baroque then all other mozart’s compositions.
This drummers shit hot, proper inspiration, now all I need is to learn that fast weird ( is it) triplet cross blast, ( gravity blast , I can do but it's shit on Roland kit).....cheers for the hardwork and practice you guys must put in, fukkin blindin chooons
of course its a lot to ask for this music to be pulled off live especially like you hear or the album. Nice job fellas. maybe its the audio mix but its a little loose. but still brutal. Love me some Archspire.
I love how spencer can both obliterate the drum kick and make drummer faces that can only be described as an asthmatic 70 year old walking down a flight of stairs a little too quickly. I guess playing drums in Archspire does that to ya! :D
Without a doubt one of the most unique metal bands. Stupid fast but tight metal coupled with rappish metal vocals? C'mon now...nothing to compare with so nothing to hate here lol because we all know how metalheads are....so judgemental instead of just enjoying what they're hearing.
This is just fucking ridiculous. It's like we not only let an aim-bot into the game, we decided he was cool and could just permanently sit in top position for K/D. Best thing I can say about these guys is that Dadabots actually sounds like them. They're such a precision guided weapon that computer code was able to empathize with them.
You can tell they're posers cuz they don't have any tattoos. Just kidding, these guys are phenomenal. From lyrics to layered rhythms, they're not stopping anytime soon.
Its a crime that this band only draws a crowd this size. I would consider myself honored to be in the presence of true musical genius if I was able to see them live.

This is some posthuman, last limit-crossing shit. Great thing to discover when you think you've seen everything.
That bass hit at 1:30 is unreal. The groove they fall into is almost Pantera, it's so in the pocket.
And Dean with the fucking power pose.

to save some stamina

I love how the drummer does the blast beats free handed as opposed to using the gravity blast technique.
Because he isn't doing gravity blasts in this song. Blast beats and gravity blasts are two separate things
