In the early 80's I was making about $120 a week take home. If I had a stack of 15-30 Barr notes saved up, I knew I was doing okay. Back then you could really stretch a dollar. I haven't seen any in circulation for a long time. Interesting video.
Thank you for watching and supporting the channel. If you were aware of Barr notes and numismatic in the 80's. It sounds as if you were into numismatics for quite some time. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Check out some other episodes. I hope your level of interest is increased with each episode that you watch...

Thank you for watching and supporting the channel. The words of support and encouragement are greatly appreciated. Oh course. I will keep the episodes coming. Every Tuesday is Legal Tender Tuesday 😅😊😅...
Yep, I have only one or two of the J, but, definitely more of the other districts for Barr Notes. I see quite a few of them at work, but don't really bother saving them anymore unless they upgrade ones that I already have.
In the last month I've found 4 in circulation. Now they're not as nice as the ones you have but they do keep showing up. Also, my neighbor who's more of a coin guy, yesterday showed me 3 notes he received as change. One was a 1988-A, one was a Barr note and the other was one of the 2013, B duplicate star notes, which I entered into the data base for him. I also have a set of all the Barr notes including the star ones. All of which I found doing strap searches. Hope you feel better.
Awww. Thank you for the well wishes. It is greatly appreciated. I do recall finding Barr notes via scrap searches as well. Your collection (Barr Star notes) sounds awesome. My interest is peaked regarding starting a new collection 😊😅😊. It must be pretty awesome to stay within close proximity of a fellow numismatician even if he is a coin guy.😅😅😅. Well thank you for watching and supporting the channel. Stay tuned for more, and keep the banter going. Keep it Legal. Keep it Tender...
