In this video we are going through a Lightyear Frontier beginner guide, I'm going to share Lightyear Frontier tips and tricks to help you guys out. These Lightyear Frontier tips are from my experiences in the game after around 7 hours of playtime and hopefully some of these will help you become more efficient at making progress in the game through crafting and farming.
The tutorials are very helpful in the game and it explains a lot of stuff but these Lightyear Frontier beginner tips will fill in the gaps and explain some things the game doesn't. There are going to be more tips Lightyear Frontier videos coming to the channel to help you guys further with some things that aren't explained in the beginner guide Lightyear Frontier. Bonus tip: Resources are used straight from your storage so you don't need the materials in your inventory and you can see if there is storage in range by looking at the top right of the screen in a crafting menu
Yes. But everything needs to be on top of each. There is a range. Would be better if we can see this range.
Also, my plants are near water and I've got my seeds in storage near plants. You'll still need seeds in inventory which is annoying.
There "should" be a box around it. When I build around storage/crafting stuff there's a box that tells me the range.
Quick tip: If you bring up the map, there's a list of what can be found in each area as you look at it.
Not the hardest game to get into, but I don't want to fumble around for hours either, so thanks for the tips.

Quick question: I'm not sure yet, but if I plant tree or seeds in the wild, do I really need to go trekking halfway across the world to water them daly, or just the ones near my home?
Second question: if I ... Um ... cut down a lot of trees, ... will they regenerate at all? I get the impression they don't, but I only get so many sprouts from them.
Last question, I promise. I was kind of dumb and set myself up quite a bit from water ... any chance of building a well, pond, or something?
1. I haven’t watered trees and they’ve grown themselves so you shouldn’t need to go trekking across the world
2. I don’t think they regenerate but I’m not 100% sure
3. You can find pond pitchers which will provide water for you to use if you don’t have a source nearby

I can answer the second question: the animals in a area like the meadows if you feed them, resources will respawn. more stuff will spawn if you feed more animals from what I have seen there is three groups of animals that you can feed for the most stuff to respawn
When you unlock the merchant, and discover various resources, you can purchase resources. Such as tree sprouts. Also check the economics tab from time to time as certain resources will increase in sell price you can make more money from selling easy resources like polyberries or rabcabbages
I’ve got the honeybottle plant, but I can’t figure out how to craft wax. How do you do it?
You need to build the solar dehydrator and you can make wax from the honeybottle plant there
I ply keyboard and mouse on Xbox and when I go into the menu or build spot I can see my curser. Is there anything I’m doing wrong or is it just a bug

You’re welcome and when you’re in the build menu, click recycle mode and you can get rid of a building getting 100% of your resources back to build it again in a new spot 👍
Been playing for 3 days I’m on day 70 literally had no issue with anything I don’t feed the animals lol I just store up on everything only issue I had was materials then boom I said to myself explore and that’s all it took I even beat that lil area and decided to jet ski across the ocean 😂😂

Started playin this.. having fun with it. But I have a small set up and wanted to get rid of the tent for a cabin. Can you not disassemble something.. cant seem to figure that out

Yeah and you get 100% of the materials back. If you go to the build menu you should see the button to go into recycle mode 👍

How do I unlock the barn?
If I remember correctly it’s when you craft iron bars in the furnace
The main issue for me is I do not know how to rebuild or remove buildings.
Recycle mode which is accessed through the build menu
Am I the only one trying to get the merchant to go to more than one dock? 👀 Is it even possible?

I don’t even play the game but this game looks similar to grounded
Similar art style I guess, but much more laid back than Grounded as there's not really any threats/enemies to deal with.
