I don’t know what’s more incredible, One Piece being so deep that someone can talk about 4 or so topics a week perpetually, or that Tekking is so built different that he’s the guy who can
Tekking is scarily good at reciting what he says in other videos that covers a similar topic.

Riding on the fame of the most dangerous and (previously) notorious crew that ever existed, then taking cover at MADS, where Vegapunk was probably just to nice to throw her out and after that she even coaxed him into crafting her her personal Whitebeard to for all the "help". An from what we know she just laid low afterwards, until Weevil got strong enough to literally and figuratively carry her and there was some free inheritance to grab :'D yep... Sounds alot like Buggy, this is my headcanon now
she's not the buggy. If she were, she'd already have the inheritance, even if it wasn't actually WB's

Buggy attempted to find it with that amulet with no luck during the Mid-Time-Skip on Skull Island; and that happened while the Strawhats were training.
It still cross~correlates since Madam Stussy still hasn’t found Whitebeard’s “Inheritance” yet either
I’ve always figured shiky the golden lion to be the buggy of the rocks crew. Stuccy is just the female fetale of the group. Like nami. In charge of getting information and brokering.

True, but Weevil considering how "different' he is from white beard, I suspect he's probably a prototype clone or a knock off made by Stussy, which means having access to that Germa clone tech is something I'd think is unlikely.

Definitely not the exact same thing.
Lining up the timeline. Based on their age giving that they are clones. It’s definitely not going to line up and fit the timeline . Could throw things out of whack.
It's possible, but Weevil could also be a failed clone, so it might not be the same

Failed clone can be way older than he appears or age a lot slower or faster.
It still means Stuccy or weevil current age could not be relied to establish a accurate timeline. Unless we know the age of when they were hatched From the pod how much time they were actually in the pod for.
Yes but those are clones made by judge to specifically serve his purposes it's not beneficial to him to grow anything below 20 while vegapunk was simply trying to make a clone and has no reason to grow them to an older age and I can't imagine he'd do so given how he immediately freaked out when he thought Bonnie's younger form got hurt I'd imagine he'd probably value their ability to be children first
I like the connection between the names of MADS, and Caesar's SAD sauce and smiles, implying he just really liked the naming scheme and kept going with it years later
I hope this cover series gets the “koby-meppo” or “buggy pirate chronicles” treatment in the anime since it’s actually relevant in the story.

Dude, I'm wondering why no bodies talking about all the important characters who's last names we don't know! Nami, Usopp, Brook, Sabo, Buggy, Crocodile, Koby, Etc. And how important of a family name is Dracule? Could it be one of the 20 Kings that formed the WG?
maybe their names and last names don't have any significance, not everything needs to be a great revelation

@@onepiecefan420 not saying that they don't, but a lot of names are just flavor, like Tony Tony Chopper, don't think Chopper's name means anything more than just being his name, probably means some pun in japanese iirc. But this idea of thinking everything in One Piece needs to be connected and having some great meaning is what lead to people thinking that Zoro's past was gonna be big deal in Wano or that Yamato would most certainly would join the SH, despite all evidence of the contrary.
I’ve never considered where the ship Franky found came from but it’s a perfect explanation that it’s the former MADS ship left to roam in the Grand Line. It’s very much the type of thing Oda would do and it’s now my head cannon lol
I mean I wouldn’t say it’s awfully convenient but it’s not as direct like akoji giving Robin the boat to escape on that was intentional, still cool boats saved Robin, and Franky another similarity they share.
I think judge only gets credit for the cloning tech and not enough for the raid suits they're literal power ranger suits that give super human abilities to the wearer (not including the Germa siblings innate abilities they were born with) like flight in any environment and the ability to turn invisible and to neutralize poison is very impressive Vega punks flight shoes only work in a specific environment.
Tbf the poison and arguably the invisibility aren't powers of the suit

I can see Vegapunk's full name being Dr. Alva Vegapunk due to one of his avatars being called Edison or Dr. Thomas Vegapunk also because of Edison.
I wonder if Vegapunk's genius is truly that far ahead of his other scientific peers or if his devilfruit is the largest contributor to setting him leagues ahead of everyone else. If Judge, Queen or even Caesar had his devilfruit, do you think that they would be on the same level as Vegapunk? Or is his genius unrivaled even without the fruit?
I think the Metal Ship was from the Void Century Kingdom. Now that we know they had Future tech. and that ship could have been floating for centuries, in the Florian Triangle only to find it's way out at some point to cross paths with Franky
Yeah, Gorosei thoroughly FUCKED UP when they ordered the execution of Gol D. Roger to be in his hometown of Loguetown. That was probably to make an example "If you gonna be a notorious pirate watch out! Cause we'll embarrass you in front of your WHOLE HOMETOWN!" Alas! Loguetown is a pretty small town, ergo you cannot have many troops fit in there. Maybe a platoon and an Admiral, but from what I remember no Admiral was present. So nobody Gorosei could contact directly. I bet they had a full-blown Enel face when Roger was allowed to deliver his monologue! xDDDDD
In chapter 840 their seems to be a retcon that yonji said the govt was threatened by the discovery of cloning and says vegapunk was arrested. But in the cover story vegapunk was respected and was invited and joined of his own free will because the govt had the money for his inventions
It is possible that there is truth in both of those explanations. The world government would be able to provide Vegapunk money and they wouldn't be above making a law to ensure that anyone else possessing that technology is a crime. Anything to keep power for themselves.
@@jamesvach6698 hmm, but the germa kingdom was a part of the WG that was allowed to join reverie before trying to join Big Mom. And I’m assuming vegapunk being arrested was what Judge told them
@@alfredhinton8792 True, so it is open to speculation. I think part of Germa being able to join reverie came from the fact that they were once a kingdom before being forced out by the residents. And ever since then they have been trying to get that power back. The world government has shown that it values the members of royal families more than the ordinary citizens. One example would be how when Law's country fell, they made sure that the royal family escaped and the left the rest of the country to die. So, it is possible that Vegapunk did indeed run into legal trouble and decided to join them as opposed to the possible alternatives because he might have felt he could pursue his projects that way.
Since Tekking's getting pretty late into the alphabet with animal facts, I have a suggestion for X:

Oh, wow. Franky finding Vegapunk's old ship and using that foe his initial upgrades is an amazing theory. I wonder if this means that cola is Vegapunk's (or one of the other MAD members/Stussy) favorite drink? Since presumably he would have needed that fuel from the beginning. ...or I guess it could also be the least favorite drink since a ton of it was left behind.

Idk if you ever watched the pilot episode of one piece. But I think it would be a pretty good review to do since it was made before toei animation ever gotten their hands on it. It’s an ova made in 1998 called ONE PIECE: Defeat him the pirate ganzack. Some notes is that it’s have different voice actors/actresses.

I think devil fruit "will" is more like a fruit of the user desires, because most of the time the fruit that the user has is interconnected with users personalities or what they desired the most. For example Kaido wants to be the strongest creature then he gets an azure dragon fruit... Dr vegafunk wanted to store a lot of information, so he gets the brain fruit.
So it does not necessarily have a will but because it was a desire in the shape of fruit, the fruit will somehow get into someone who desires it the most.
Off topic but thinking about devil fruits coming into existence from people willing them into it what if the voice of all things is the entity bringing them forth.

Are there any theories involving wizard of Oz and Mads? I think joyboy has a theory about the emerald city. The characters at different times represent certain wizard of Oz characters. I thin vegapunk is the wizard, Bonnie is Dorothy, usopp is cowardly lion, Luffy is the scarecrow(but could also be Vegapunk), smoker or franky might be the tin man, chopper is toto.
Also old school Mads could be vegapunk=wizard, stussy=Dorothy, judge=lion, Ceasar=scarecrow, queen=tin man
I also think the scientist theme is going to play into it somehow. Like hiruluk was a snake oil salesman, hogback was like Dr moreau mixed with Dr Frankenstein, Ceasar is a bit like your old school mad scientist or a comical Dracula. And to add to the jekyll/hyde theory maybe vegapunk was trying in part to separate his hyde part by creating thr satellites. Might explain why he separated good and evil

You are wrong in your assumption about the first plot relevant cover story happening concurrently with the chapters. I'd argue that the first one was actually Buggy's adventure, after he was sent flying, he was rescued by his crew, met Alvida and then went to Loguetown, finding the Straw Hats again.

what if that ship was THE ancient weapon and franky did not know he landed onto it because he was near death and he repaired himself with the ancient weapon's scraps.. and the ship has a character of its own and it can move and do stuff on its own that has already been established too so maybe it helped him for some reason.

Vegapunk created the whole Seastone coating for the Marine ships didn't he?
Well, imagine if this was one the first inventions he provided the WG with. Before this Marine ships had to travel the same way all pirate ships did, but now they can just travel through the calm belt and skip so much time and distance.
Now imagine the first time it was implemented, the Marines pretty much were able to pull a fast one on so many of their enemies because they weren't aware of it. While its pretty common knowledge in the current times, back then it must have been some really shocking stuff. 'Where did all these marines come from?! There weren't any fleet sightings in the nearby areas!'
Now in a hypotetical scenario. Imagine if Dragon and the freedom fighters were among the poeple that got ambushed by this new invention. Pretty sure hed be a little pissed to find out Vegapunk created it.
It also meant that the marines didn't have to worry as much about sea kings.
