Remember that Luffy had his rubber body while drowning at Arlong Park. Devil fruit that require activation would not be usable, but passive fruit effects do remain active.

Ok imagine this with the Devil fruit. You can make contracts where you and the Devils assistant sets a deal where you get something you want but there’s a negative. Its awakening gives you 1 meeting with the devil himself to make a ultimate Contract where the negative is extremely reduced almost none, while the positive can be very extremely high!

So funny your thing made it and my thing is Sutoreji Sutoreji no mi (Storage Storage) Type : Paramecia The user is able to store inside themselves anything that affects them. That includes but is not limited to: Energy, sleep, pain, oxygen or even vision (be able to store things they saw like a camera) etc. It enables the user to exert the stored up thing onto any other person by touch. (Kinda like when Kuma took all the damage Luffy took and exerted it on Zorro) If you take a hit instead of taking the damage you can absorb the damage, but you can't absorb the damage and pain at the same time, you have to choose which one to absorb. so you will be feeling the pain of the hit but not suffer the effects of the damage. The weakness is you are only able to store 1 thing at a time. If you are already storing the damage from a weaker hit inside you and take a stronger hit, you can't pile up. So you have to be very careful and have good management skills and tactics in combat to be able to use it effectively.
I am new to the One Piece scene and just caught up to all of Tekkings videos, so I never heard of this contest until it was too late to submit. Here my ideas for fruits. Edit: didn’t space the Zoan category to center it. Zoan: Human Human Fruit Model: Lady Liberty: -A character that bring around the book of laws of the World Government and is adorned with robes, a blindfold, and carries scales as its main item. -Miniature figures of the individual the user chooses within their sight line will appear on one end, and is the victim isn’t deemed righteous by the laws of the World Government, the scales will tip their way because of the weight of their sins, and the user takes the power of those unworthy. Paramecia: Fate Fate Fruit: -The ability to see red strings of fate tied the people or objects of your choosing in your immediate sight and be able to trace the strings to see where they will be in the future by following the string to its next destination from the individual’s body. This will make it impossible to hit the person if they dodge the strings in their entirety and don’t touch them in battle and trac them down if need be. -This first ability would have the weaknesses of it being extremely difficult to navigate the strings due to them looking very tangled, and will get less effective the more people or objects you use it on. -The second ability would be to cut a red string and tie it with another to make said person destined to land in that spot. Weaknesses would be that you would have to have scissors on you at all times to cut the strings, and the amount of time it would take you to find the right one, cut it and tie it to the destination you want, making you very telegraphic in battle if you’re not smart about it. -Third ability would be to tie a golden string that connects everyone to death and either cut two sections and tie them together making the time it would take one to die shorter or cut it off completely to make someone immortal at the expense of losing a loved one. Logia: Carbon Carbon Fruit: -Carbon is the most versatile substance on Earth and with a little creativity, can be the most broken logia ability. -The ability to make unbreakable shields of Graphine (one atom thick sheets of carbon 200 times stronger than steel) and forger them into invisible barriers that encompass you and allies -The ability to form weapons from minerals like Diamonds and such -The ability to create large quantities of carbon-dioxide and poison those around you -make vehicles out of carbon fiber and Fiberglas that can go faster and are as touch as any other vessel -The uses go on.
For my traditional zoan, I’d have the Axoltol Axoltol fruit. -this creature has the highest rengerstion capabilities to the point where it will even grow neurons and stitch them back together to stay from being paralyzed. -it would be awakened to the point where it regeneration would allow the user to, for example, tear off their arms and have the connective tissues catch up and extend the range of attacks. They’d also be able to hurt themselves and turn their form into a monsterized form since it’s a play on working out making you swole by creating micro tears in the muscles, but only for a limited amount of time before completely healing. There’s so much you can do with this power it’s crazy. Think Tokyo Ghoul on steroids.
A *Rubber-Rubber fruit* that allows the user to bounce off anything thrown at them back at the attacker and has it stick to them since they are also turned into glue. Maybe Luffy's awakening :O

It can be used on a small scale( taking 1 carbon out of 1 CO2 molecule) or on a large scale ( making a CO cloud by removing 1 oxygen atom from hundreds of moles of CO2). These abilities require stamina, like most paramecia.Another ability is the ability to see the atoms which make up a compound and tell them apart by looking at the colour and pattern of the atom at will eg. a user can see the carbon( grey with black spots) and oxygen ( white with a blue stripe) in carbon dioxide. This ability, however, impaires the users vision when activated. When the fruit is awakened, the range of manipulation increases from 2m to 50m, while the user can turn materials into a new state of matter:plasma, and can also change an atom's structure completely by manipulating the atomic and mass number number eg turning sodium into oxygen by changing sodium's mass no. and atomic no. to oxygen's.

Paramecia Devil Fruit: Beast-Beast Fruit: Chimera Model. Even though it sounds and appears to be a zoan, because of the way the abilities work it more qualifies for Paramecia. Simply put: to evolve and transform to overcome current difficulties. The host can change back forth between evolved form and human for like a Zoan-type. All evolutionary changes are mostly animal based. (Extreme Cold = Thick Fur and blood altering. Inadequate size/strength = increase size/muscle mass& density. Hard to damage enemies = grown and strengthen claws, fangs, and horns. Wings, Sharper Claws, Large Horns, Tails, Night Vision, etc.) Also includes a affective healing factor. Not enough to make user immortal but enough to heal from dangerous wounds in at least 20 hours. Lastly user can gain unique abilities of other animals through constant exposure or ingestation (fighting or eating) (eat enough rock fish = poison saliva and toxic immunity. Wrestle enough electric eels = produce your own electric current and increase shock resistance). Setbacks: 1. At night transformation abilities vary depending on the phase of the moon (Full Moon = Full Power but high chance of Berserk state, Half Moon = Partial Transformation and limited power, New Moon = No Transformation but maintains transformed forms muscular strength). 2. Can't evolve to overcome natural devil fruit weakness (Water, Haki, Seastone etc.) 3. During Berserker state user loses all healing ability. 4. Host enters a uncontrollable hibernation cycle every 5 months (lasting 7 days). 5. Can't mimic or absorb devil fruit abilities. And there's the Beast-Beast fruit.
Why did a zoan win? 🤨 that's just picking an animal...in the top 5 maybe but that's not unique or creative compared to logia and especially not compared to paramecia
My fruit was the same theme as the top Paramecia, so while I didn't win, I at least had the same general concept as the winner. I can see why theirs won out over mine too, since I went a less serious and more goofy route with mine, while they did a better job explaining how useful this power is. Here was my fruit: Hōkō Hōkō No Mi (Direction Direction Fruit) Type: Paramecia Turns the eater into a direction-man, giving them a red nose shaped like a compass needle, and enhancing their sense of direction. The fruit's strength lies in it's ability to direct the user towards any person, place or object of their choosing. As long as they know more than just the name or a vague description of their target, the user will feel a desire to orient their nose in the target's direction. While focused on their target, they innately know the shortest and most direct route to their target, letting them navigate around, or through, any type of obstacle in their path with absolute efficiency. However while they know how to reach their target, they don't know it's specific location, or how far away it is. When not actively focused on tracking something, the user's compass-like nose naturally wants to point northwards. While they can ignore the urge and look in other directions, their nose itches with increasing intensity the longer they don't look to the north. As a result, the direction-man often prefers to do as much as possible while facing the north. When the Hōkō Hōkō No Mi is awakened, the direction-man gains the ability to impose his sense of direction on others. By focusing on people or objects in his line of sight, he can make all non-moving targets turn in the direction he's thinking of, and make all moving targets move in the direction he's thinking of, even if the moving target is something that normally can't change direction (like a bullet). With training, instead of selecting a single direction for everything in range, they can give each target it's own direction to follow.

See I have kind of an issue with the Ancient Zoans just being prehistoric giant versions of modern-day animals because yeah they're cool to us but in the One Piece world, there are giant versions of animals everywhere. Literally everywhere. Like it'd be better to (at this point in the series) just have the normal Zoan fruit and then through Awakening become bigger. Like at least some had unique things like acid spit or poison buuuut eeehhh.
My idea was the molecule-molecule fruit, a paramecia, guess it kind of lost to the particle-particle fruit in the Logia category since it was similar. If only I could expand more on my idea. It was fun either way.
Not gonna lie a little salty my mythical zoan didn’t make it but angel and devil got top 2. Kinda wish roger judged more on creativity on the fruit itself and less on illustration. To be honest, the grand prize winner deserved the win, but logia top ten sucked, roger's list for mythical zoaned suck so bad, everyone was questioning his picks the entire stream, then paramecia list was meh. Hopefully tekking101 will upload everything for viewing. Granted, picks have been subjective. Tekkings and nux were on par. But rogers picks were really bad. Im seeing a lot of more interesting fruits in the comment section.
Yeah, it makes it kinda rough to feel like I got the #6 slot because I had a specific vision for what fruit mine reincarnated into - as well as how hard it is to artistically an elephant of more-than-three-heads with proper gravitas for skilled artists let alone my poor drawing skills, but if I'd made the effort it would have somehow improved my standing. To say nothing of the luck of the draw aspect that the 300 word count handed to the GPW the way Roger rambled about it

at 1:08:45 i feel the mummy fruit is way under powered. First of all the mummy fruit should kill you and raise you back from the dead like brook. Also the mummy curse should be kinda just like in the mummy movies, where the user can produce ivory and solid golden canopic jars. That suck your soul out when opened healing the mummy and turning you into sand in the process. The mummy should be able to have full control over sand to a greater degree then a logia. The mummy fruit should at a the start be able to fully control the wraps around its body to a radius of 4000 sq feet (372 sq. meters) the amount of cloth required to fully wrap a mummy. They should be able to make weapons out of the cloth like making a nose hook or kopesh sword. When taking on multiple victims he can make his cloth go up their nose and pull their organs out. They in unawakend form have a telepathic link to scarab beetles and can call them forth to do his bidding. When awakened the mummy becomes a pharaoh and gains ability to make unlimited cloth and use to make attacks like a giant pyramid hammer or a chariot for mobility. He can bring forth the all ten plagues of Egypt with his trump card and using the power of souls he has stolen he can make a death wave, that kills all first born animals or man and takes their souls.healing the mummy with out the need for the canopic jars instantly creating a piles of sand. he can also lash out with his wraps and possess people with his curse making them his servants for 3 days unable resist his wraps making their body move on its own. the last power is with his touch of his unwrapped hands can cause you to rot in the place touched. The weakness should be water and fire for the wraps and weak to holy mythical like Buddha or soul controllers like brook or people who can attack souls like perona ultra effective when in pharaoh mode. also mummies/servant mummies are deathly afraid of cats sapping their strength like seastone. being a mummy grants resistance to extreme desert heat or biting arctic cold both places that can make mummies and has no need for food or drink or air just souls to sustain him
There were a lot of good entries. Here is my personal entry because i believe it is pretty unique. The Sensory Sensory Fruit, or Kankaku Kankaku no mi, is a paramecia fruit that affects the senses of its user and/or anyone within range of the user's own senses. The user can change the intensity of the the target's senses on a scale of 0 to 11 with zero being fully incapable of using a sense or senses and 11 being a sort of overdrive for the target(s). Multiple senses can be altered at one time and multiple people can be affected at one time. You can use it to make a group of enemies completely blind, make your team unable to feel pain, smell better for use against camouflaged enemies, taste sanji's cooking even better, etc. The user can even do combinations of alterations, such as 2 in feeling, 11 in sight, 11 in hearing, 5 in smell, and 6 in taste.The true strength of the fruit comes from it's ability to counter observation haki as that is considered a 6th sense, you can completely nullify observation haki from anyone including people who specialize in it like Katakuri, and even provide your team with observation haki as good as a specialist's haki. The only weakness of the fruit is that it cannot deal major raw damage to anybody, it cannot blow up a ship, or straight up kill someone directly. It is a fruit best used by someone with a crew like any pirate captain, or someone who is skilled in combat like zoro, mihawk, sanji, etc. Overall, in the hands of someone creative or physically powerful, this devil fruit can be absolutely destructive and would be very suiting to a supernova, yonko, admiral, or even the pirate captain.

So uh... hate to be that guy but… while I didn't catch the stream live, I was told that the entries of my friends got plagarized (Craft-Craft, Force-Force and Rev-Rev turned into Tool-Tool, Energy-Energy and Battery-Battery respectively) and that some people int he live-stream chat brought up, only for that to be removed from the upload…. Now, sure, the moment I saw Nux as one of the judges, I didn't expect all that much seriousness from this contest, but some of the DFs here… are honestly god-awful and wankfesty as all hell.... like a freaking Void-Void or Explosion-Explosion Logia...
Well the original upload with the chat is still up, but anyway, there were A LOT of fruits that were similar. Even that battery fruit for example, there were like 8 other battery fruits, including one that followed the same basic idea, but it was way over the world limit so i used the one in the video instead. Same thing with the tool and energy ones, it was a relatively common idea that i got a lot of entries for. I'm sure that similar ideas have been done before in various fanfics and fan wiki's and stuff, but i didn't have the time to check all of that so i just took what i liked in the contest at face value. Otherwise it would have taken way longer to get done.
@@Tekking101 Then, bluntly, you should've taken way longer to get done. As things stand, the stream came off as a disorganized, unprofessional mess that prioritized wank over quality. I've had friends slam your videos in the past for poor-quality research, but this was just honestly embarrassing.
So you're saying you couldn't be bothered to do any research, then? I know you don't normally do any for your videos, but come on, man. People's hard work got blatantly plagiarized, with things of actual monetary value on the line, and you couldn't be bothered to look into where those fruits came from? I know fanfiction isn't exactly your thing, but we're a big part of the community and we deserve to have a voice, not to get pushed back like this just because you didn't want to take the time to delve a little deeper. The contest as a whole displayed an astonishing lack of professionalism. There were no quantifying rules as to how the fruits would be judged, nothing to stop it from becoming a shitfest packed with power wank and "I just think it's neat". The ones that won, won because they suited the judges personal tastes. The actually well designed and thought out fruits fell by the wayside.
And worst of all? Instead of my Blood-Blood Logia that I spent months conceptualizing even outside of and prior to the contest and making sure it´s balanced, interesting and fits One Piece as well as possible, a WATER-WATER Logia (one of the biggest Sue-Button this fandom has to offer) gets picked instead....totally ignoring the fact that such a Fruit would be either immediately self-defeating thanks to the weakness against ALL water DFs share WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS or it would be the unquestionable Apex predator to all Fruits possible... Then again, since "Logias are boring and samey" pparently I never had that much hope in scoring all that high....Then again, the sheer unprofessionalism and blatant favortism of "awesome (aka Sueish and/or conceptually dubious)" Fruits over the well-thought-out and balanced ones had me and most of my Discord server shake their heads in frustration

Why is it that you chose a simple devil fruit design called The Song Song Mi over mine at 3:02:51 ? #Notsaltyatall Down below is my idea of the devil fruit (Which is also called The Song Song No Mi) if anyones interested. The Song Song No Mi This fruit is a paramecia that allows you to manipulate things around you with a song. Used correctly it can raise the winds, calm the oceans, mend wounds and sing people to sleep. However, it the conditions of its use are so specific, its often referred to as the Untameable fruit. Its unique weakness is that in order for the Song Song No Mi to work the owner of the fruit will have to train his voice. One false note, one misplaced line and the intended effect of the song will stop. Same thing occurs when the singer is interrupted while singing. However, its unique strength is that if a person would sing alongside the owner of the fruit in, the effect of the song would amplify. Winds would be more chaotic, lightning flashing more frequently and wounds heal faster. It has, in other words, the ability to draw other songs into itself and strengthen the theme of the bearer’s music. But like with the unique weakness, the other people would have to be perfectly in sync with the owner of the fruit, and be careful in not misplacing lines or/and false notes. Song of Protection = This song, when placed on oneself or another, makes every weapon refuse to harm the individual. Bullets stop before the person in question, swords break and spears stop in mid-air and fall onto the ground. It’s useless though when it comes to hand to hand combat or other devil fruit powers. Song of Sleep = Its said that once upon a time, a certain owner of the fruit had a daughter which bore a illness not even the Song Song No Mi could heal, so he sung them both into a deep sleep which they never awoke from.
It's okay man, I had the same concept as the #1 Paramecia, so I know how it feels, though in my case I know exactly why mine wasn't picked. xD As for why yours wasn't chosen, I'd assume it's because yours is a lot more specific. You had a very clear idea of how you wanted the power to be used, and as a result you made a fruit with limited ways to be used. The one he selected is a little more open ended, and also has the benefit of being useful on anyone at all, even people with horrific voices. Yours is still good, but based on the other selections I'm not surprised yours wasn't picked.
Sometimes it's just about how you use the word count - with 300 words you can't talk about everything feasible, and so it's the fortune of "what the judges were looking for" and "did you note those specific details". Easy example: my #6 Mythic Zoan can do everything that they highlighted about the Grand Prize winner, but I couldn't talk about them in detail because of the word count (*assuming* that art & style didn't actually matter, of course) limiting what I could talk about. It's just the way it comes down.

Just think about my sadness, my entry was a different version of the choko choko no mi with the same name, so when i first saw the name on stream as 5th place in paramecia i was about to go bonkers because i thought it was mine just to realize a moment later that it isnt actually mine and that i pretty much just missed the top ten by a slight preference of tekking
Im a little disappointed at a few entries in the logia and paramecia category. Especially the number 1 for paramecia. It waz funny but i was like no f**king way😂. Majority of the placingz were good tbh but i feel a couple were just not top 10 worthy tbh. Homie put a dora the explorer devil fruit as top placing in paramecia. Regardless good job guyz, this was probably hell to go through.
To be honest, the grand prize winner deserved the win, but logia top ten sucked, roger's list for mythical zoaned suck so bad, everyone was questioning his picks the entire stream, then paramecia list was meh. I'm sure plenty of other people already said this but the Dodo went extinct because humans showed up on their island, were starving, and the Dodo had no natural predators so they had no fear. Not sure if they were explorers or pilgrims but yeah the bird died because it was fearless and stupid.
So I just discovered one piece mid 2021 but I think a cool idea would be the fruit-fruit fruit, turns the user into a fruit bearing human, and basically it would make you like a tree that is capable of producing fruits with various effects, such as poisonous ones, hallucinogenic ones, or, if awakened, even other fake devil fruits that could temporarily give people who eat It the standard devil fruit weakness to water. With the use of armament haki, you could shape the fruits as you want them similar to how they grow cubic watermelons in Japan. The user could also use photosynthesis to regenerate lost limbs over time, and use vines and razor sharp leaves as blades for combat. Another awakening ability would be the ability to grow iron hard bark all over yourself as armor, as well as the ability to wider variety of crazy fruits like mentioned above, or even like explosive fruits. The obvious weakness would be fire based attacks, but also the fact that you would wilt without rain and sunlight to support you.

The devil fruit honestly seems more like a contract paramecia fruit than mythical zoan fruit. Also it wasn't that long ago that Dodo's went extinct. They were killed off by naval explorers and their dogs in the colonial days. Admittedly not sure if that disqualifies them as an ancient zoan or not.

When other's have their "courage" taken, they're body sends them signals associated with fear. Like Conq. Haki but wont knock out, just scare.( *Kinda similar to Perona's df but more OP* ). Now, the weakness is that someone with a strong enough will wont be effected and attempting to steal they're courage will just give them a stat boost. But in the right hands, this fruit is OP. The awakening is what makes it OP. It's awakening is called *PLUNDER*: Allows the user to steal or plunder something from an object or a person, namely aspects or properties of whatever it's stealing from. For example, it can steal a giant's height or strength, or a blade's sharpness (user would then have abilities similar to Mr.1), or a Fire's heat, an animal's fur and so many more I want to write down but just think *SOFT & WET from Jojolion and BAN from 7 deadly sins.* I had wanted to submit but didnt really have the time. Hope one of them reads this idea though.

Congrats to the winners. Here was my entry. The Mutt-Mutt Fruit, Fox Model is a Zoan-type devil fruit that allows its user to transform into a fox hybrid and a full fox at will, making the user a Fox Human. The user is granted with claws ,fangs and a large bushy tail (large enough that the user can cover their whole body) while in their hybrid form and gain enhanced speed and strength equal to or better than an average fox which is added on to their human fighting stats. A unique skill this fruit gives is a hypersonic fox yell/screech that can be used as a soundwave attack able to shatter stone and make ears bleed. It's just an exaggerated version of fox mating calls, which is a sharp, high-pitched shrieking/screaming noise, which can sound terrifying. A weakness of this fruit is the overly large tail in it's hybrid form. Very easy to grab and exploit in battle.
A devil fruit that grants the user immunity to devil fruit weaknesses.

Remember that Luffy had his rubber body while drowning at Arlong Park. Devil fruit that require activation would not be usable, but passive fruit effects do remain active.

Its awakening gives you 1 meeting with the devil himself to make a ultimate Contract where the negative is extremely reduced almost none, while the positive can be very extremely high!

The user is able to store inside themselves anything that affects them.
That includes but is not limited to: Energy, sleep, pain, oxygen or even vision (be able to store things they saw like a camera) etc.
It enables the user to exert the stored up thing onto any other person by touch. (Kinda like when Kuma took all the damage Luffy took and exerted it on Zorro)
If you take a hit instead of taking the damage you can absorb the damage, but you can't absorb the damage and pain at the same time, you have to choose which one to absorb. so you will be feeling the pain of the hit but not suffer the effects of the damage.
The weakness is you are only able to store 1 thing at a time.
If you are already storing the damage from a weaker hit inside you and take a stronger hit, you can't pile up.
So you have to be very careful and have good management skills and tactics in combat to be able to use it effectively.

I am new to the One Piece scene and just caught up to all of Tekkings videos, so I never heard of this contest until it was too late to submit. Here my ideas for fruits.

Zoan:
Human Human Fruit Model: Lady Liberty:
-A character that bring around the book of laws of the World Government and is adorned with robes, a blindfold, and carries scales as its main item.
-Miniature figures of the individual the user chooses within their sight line will appear on one end, and is the victim isn’t deemed righteous by the laws of the World Government, the scales will tip their way because of the weight of their sins, and the user takes the power of those unworthy.
Paramecia:
Fate Fate Fruit:
-The ability to see red strings of fate tied the people or objects of your choosing in your immediate sight and be able to trace the strings to see where they will be in the future by following the string to its next destination from the individual’s body. This will make it impossible to hit the person if they dodge the strings in their entirety and don’t touch them in battle and trac them down if need be.
-This first ability would have the weaknesses of it being extremely difficult to navigate the strings due to them looking very tangled, and will get less effective the more people or objects you use it on.
-The second ability would be to cut a red string and tie it with another to make said person destined to land in that spot. For my traditional zoan, I’d have the Axoltol Axoltol fruit.
-this creature has the highest rengerstion capabilities to the point where it will even grow neurons and stitch them back together to stay from being paralyzed.
-it would be awakened to the point where it regeneration would allow the user to, for example, tear off their arms and have the connective tissues catch up and extend the range of attacks. They’d also be able to hurt themselves and turn their form into a monsterized form since it’s a play on working out making you swole by creating micro tears in the muscles, but only for a limited amount of time before completely healing. There’s so much you can do with this power it’s crazy. Think Tokyo Ghoul on steroids.

The Jet Jet fruit will allow you to transform into any military planes from Bombers,Jet,spy planes, Aircraft carrier as long as it's for war.
It will also allow hybrid form of military planes but lose 10 percentage of strength.
But None of these would work unless you have a command operations.
These will allow you to transition smoothly to the different form.
The Strength of the Jet Jet Fruit is it a Great support and Offensive Fruit.
It for your crew to get out of dangerous situation in seconds and it hit like a hurricane.
The weakness is that you have Low Oxygen For breath.
The reason because your lungs act more like Engine to support the form you have.
To Sum it up: As long as you have a Oxygen tank, you are rocket man.

Even though it sounds and appears to be a zoan, because of the way the abilities work it more qualifies for Paramecia.
Simply put: to evolve and transform to overcome current difficulties. The host can change back forth between evolved form and human for like a Zoan-type. All evolutionary changes are mostly animal based. (Extreme Cold = Thick Fur and blood altering. Inadequate size/strength = increase size/muscle mass& density. Hard to damage enemies = grown and strengthen claws, fangs, and horns. Wings, Sharper Claws, Large Horns, Tails, Night Vision, etc.) Also includes a affective healing factor. Not enough to make user immortal but enough to heal from dangerous wounds in at least 20 hours. Lastly user can gain unique abilities of other animals through constant exposure or ingestation (fighting or eating) (eat enough rock fish = poison saliva and toxic immunity. Wrestle enough electric eels = produce your own electric current and increase shock resistance). Setbacks: 1. At night transformation abilities vary depending on the phase of the moon (Full Moon = Full Power but high chance of Berserk state, Half Moon = Partial Transformation and limited power, New Moon = No Transformation but maintains transformed forms muscular strength). 2. Can't evolve to overcome natural devil fruit weakness (Water, Haki, Seastone etc.) 3. During Berserker state user loses all healing ability. 4. Host enters a uncontrollable hibernation cycle every 5 months (lasting 7 days). 5. Can't mimic or absorb devil fruit abilities.

My fruit was the same theme as the top Paramecia, so while I didn't win, I at least had the same general concept as the winner. I can see why theirs won out over mine too, since I went a less serious and more goofy route with mine, while they did a better job explaining how useful this power is.
Here was my fruit:
Hōkō Hōkō No Mi (Direction Direction Fruit)
Type: Paramecia
Turns the eater into a direction-man, giving them a red nose shaped like a compass needle, and enhancing their sense of direction.
The fruit's strength lies in it's ability to direct the user towards any person, place or object of their choosing. As long as they know more than just the name or a vague description of their target, the user will feel a desire to orient their nose in the target's direction. While focused on their target, they innately know the shortest and most direct route to their target, letting them navigate around, or through, any type of obstacle in their path with absolute efficiency. However while they know how to reach their target, they don't know it's specific location, or how far away it is.
When not actively focused on tracking something, the user's compass-like nose naturally wants to point northwards. While they can ignore the urge and look in other directions, their nose itches with increasing intensity the longer they don't look to the north. As a result, the direction-man often prefers to do as much as possible while facing the north.
When the Hōkō Hōkō No Mi is awakened, the direction-man gains the ability to impose his sense of direction on others. By focusing on people or objects in his line of sight, he can make all non-moving targets turn in the direction he's thinking of, and make all moving targets move in the direction he's thinking of, even if the moving target is something that normally can't change direction (like a bullet). See I have kind of an issue with the Ancient Zoans just being prehistoric giant versions of modern-day animals because yeah they're cool to us but in the One Piece world, there are giant versions of animals everywhere. Literally everywhere. Like it'd be better to (at this point in the series) just have the normal Zoan fruit and then through Awakening become bigger. Like at least some had unique things like acid spit or poison buuuut eeehhh.

Yeah, it makes it kinda rough to feel like I got the #6 slot because I had a specific vision for what fruit mine reincarnated into - as well as how hard it is to artistically an elephant of more-than-three-heads with proper gravitas for skilled artists let alone my poor drawing skills, but if I'd made the effort it would have somehow improved my standing. at 1:08:45 i feel the mummy fruit is way under powered. First of all the mummy fruit should kill you and raise you back from the dead like brook. Also the mummy curse should be kinda just like in the mummy movies, where the user can produce ivory and solid golden canopic jars. That suck your soul out when opened healing the mummy and turning you into sand in the process. The mummy should be able to have full control over sand to a greater degree then a logia. The mummy fruit should at a the start be able to fully control the wraps around its body to a radius of 4000 sq feet (372 sq. meters) the amount of cloth required to fully wrap a mummy. They should be able to make weapons out of the cloth like making a nose hook or kopesh sword. When taking on multiple victims he can make his cloth go up their nose and pull their organs out. They in unawakend form have a telepathic link to scarab beetles and can call them forth to do his bidding. When awakened the mummy becomes a pharaoh and gains ability to make unlimited cloth and use to make attacks like a giant pyramid hammer or a chariot for mobility. He can bring forth the all ten plagues of Egypt with his trump card and using the power of souls he has stolen he can make a death wave, that kills all first born animals or man and takes their souls.healing the mummy with out the need for the canopic jars instantly creating a piles of sand. he can also lash out with his wraps and possess people with his curse making them his servants for 3 days unable resist his wraps making their body move on its own. the last power is with his touch of his unwrapped hands can cause you to rot in the place touched. The weakness should be water and fire for the wraps and weak to holy mythical like Buddha or soul controllers like brook or people who can attack souls like perona ultra effective when in pharaoh mode. also mummies/servant mummies are deathly afraid of cats sapping their strength like seastone. being a mummy grants resistance to extreme desert heat or biting arctic cold both places that can make mummies and has no need for food or drink or air just souls to sustain him

There were a lot of good entries. Here is my personal entry because i believe it is pretty unique.
The Sensory Sensory Fruit, or Kankaku Kankaku no mi, is a paramecia fruit that affects the senses of its user and/or anyone within range of the user's own senses. The user can change the intensity of the the target's senses on a scale of 0 to 11 with zero being fully incapable of using a sense or senses and 11 being a sort of overdrive for the target(s). Multiple senses can be altered at one time and multiple people can be affected at one time. You can use it to make a group of enemies completely blind, make your team unable to feel pain, smell better for use against camouflaged enemies, taste sanji's cooking even better, etc. The user can even do combinations of alterations, such as 2 in feeling, 11 in sight, 11 in hearing, 5 in smell, and 6 in taste.The true strength of the fruit comes from it's ability to counter observation haki as that is considered a 6th sense, you can completely nullify observation haki from anyone including people who specialize in it like Katakuri, and even provide your team with observation haki as good as a specialist's haki. The only weakness of the fruit is that it cannot deal major raw damage to anybody, it cannot blow up a ship, or straight up kill someone directly. It is a fruit best used by someone with a crew like any pirate captain, or someone who is skilled in combat like zoro, mihawk, sanji, etc. Overall, in the hands of someone creative or physically powerful, this devil fruit can be absolutely destructive and would be very suiting to a supernova, yonko, admiral, or even the pirate captain.

So uh... hate to be that guy but… while I didn't catch the stream live, I was told that the entries of my friends got plagarized (Craft-Craft, Force-Force and Rev-Rev turned into Tool-Tool, Energy-Energy and Battery-Battery respectively) and that some people int he live-stream chat brought up, only for that to be removed from the upload….
Now, sure, the moment I saw Nux as one of the judges, I didn't expect all that much seriousness from this contest, but some of the DFs here… are honestly god-awful and wankfesty as all hell.... like a freaking Void-Void or Explosion-Explosion Logia...
Well the original upload with the chat is still up, but anyway, there were A LOT of fruits that were similar. Even that battery fruit for example, there were like 8 other battery fruits, including one that followed the same basic idea, but it was way over the world limit so i used the one in the video instead. Same thing with the tool and energy ones, it was a relatively common idea that i got a lot of entries for. I'm sure that similar ideas have been done before in various fanfics and fan wiki's and stuff, but i didn't have the time to check all of that so i just took what i liked in the contest at face value. Otherwise it would have taken way longer to get done.

So you're saying you couldn't be bothered to do any research, then? I know you don't normally do any for your videos, but come on, man. People's hard work got blatantly plagiarized, with things of actual monetary value on the line, and you couldn't be bothered to look into where those fruits came from? I know fanfiction isn't exactly your thing, but we're a big part of the community and we deserve to have a voice, not to get pushed back like this just because you didn't want to take the time to delve a little deeper.
The contest as a whole displayed an astonishing lack of professionalism. There were no quantifying rules as to how the fruits would be judged, nothing to stop it from becoming a shitfest packed with power wank and "I just think it's neat". The ones that won, won because they suited the judges personal tastes. The actually well designed and thought out fruits fell by the wayside.
And worst of all?
Instead of my Blood-Blood Logia that I spent months conceptualizing even outside of and prior to the contest and making sure it´s balanced, interesting and fits One Piece as well as possible, a WATER-WATER Logia (one of the biggest Sue-Button this fandom has to offer) gets picked instead....totally ignoring the fact that such a Fruit would be either immediately self-defeating thanks to the weakness against ALL water DFs share WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS or it would be the unquestionable Apex predator to all Fruits possible...
Then again, since "Logias are boring and samey" pparently I never had that much hope in scoring all that high....Then again, the sheer unprofessionalism and blatant favortism of "awesome (aka Sueish and/or conceptually dubious)" Fruits over the well-thought-out and balanced ones had me and most of my Discord server shake their heads in frustration

Down below is my idea of the devil fruit (Which is also called The Song Song No Mi) if anyones interested.
The Song Song No Mi
This fruit is a paramecia that allows you to manipulate things around you with a song. Used correctly it can raise the winds, calm the oceans, mend wounds and sing people to sleep. However, it the conditions of its use are so specific, its often referred to as the Untameable fruit.
Its unique weakness is that in order for the Song Song No Mi to work the owner of the fruit will have to train his voice. One false note, one misplaced line and the intended effect of the song will stop. Same thing occurs when the singer is interrupted while singing.
However, its unique strength is that if a person would sing alongside the owner of the fruit in, the effect of the song would amplify. Winds would be more chaotic, lightning flashing more frequently and wounds heal faster. It has, in other words, the ability to draw other songs into itself and strengthen the theme of the bearer’s music. But like with the unique weakness, the other people would have to be perfectly in sync with the owner of the fruit, and be careful in not misplacing lines or/and false notes.
Song of Protection = This song, when placed on oneself or another, makes every weapon refuse to harm the individual. Bullets stop before the person in question, swords break and spears stop in mid-air and fall onto the ground. It’s useless though when it comes to hand to hand combat or other devil fruit powers.
Song of Sleep = Its said that once upon a time, a certain owner of the fruit had a daughter which bore a illness not even the Song Song No Mi could heal, so he sung them both into a deep sleep which they never awoke from.

It's okay man, I had the same concept as the #1 Paramecia, so I know how it feels, though in my case I know exactly why mine wasn't picked. xD
As for why yours wasn't chosen, I'd assume it's because yours is a lot more specific. You had a very clear idea of how you wanted the power to be used, and as a result you made a fruit with limited ways to be used. The one he selected is a little more open ended, and also has the benefit of being useful on anyone at all, even people with horrific voices. Yours is still good, but based on the other selections I'm not surprised yours wasn't picked.
Sometimes it's just about how you use the word count - with 300 words you can't talk about everything feasible, and so it's the fortune of "what the judges were looking for" and "did you note those specific details". Easy example: my #6 Mythic Zoan can do everything that they highlighted about the Grand Prize winner, but I couldn't talk about them in detail because of the word count (*assuming* that art & style didn't actually matter, of course) limiting what I could talk about. It's just the way it comes down.
How Dodo got extinct...well, I tried to search and I got this bit: Until the modern era, the dodo had led a charmed life: There were no predatory mammals, reptiles, or even large insects on its island habitat and thus no need to evolve any natural defenses. Just think about my sadness, my entry was a different version of the choko choko no mi with the same name, so when i first saw the name on stream as 5th place in paramecia i was about to go bonkers because i thought it was mine just to realize a moment later that it isnt actually mine and that i pretty much just missed the top ten by a slight preference of tekking
Im a little disappointed at a few entries in the logia and paramecia category. Especially the number 1 for paramecia. It waz funny but i was like no f**king way😂. Majority of the placingz were good tbh but i feel a couple were just not top 10 worthy tbh. Homie put a dora the explorer devil fruit as top placing in paramecia. Regardless good job guyz, this was probably hell to go through.

I'm sure plenty of other people already said this but the Dodo went extinct because humans showed up on their island, were starving, and the Dodo had no natural predators so they had no fear. Not sure if they were explorers or pilgrims but yeah the bird died because it was fearless and stupid.
So I just discovered one piece mid 2021 but I think a cool idea would be the fruit-fruit fruit, turns the user into a fruit bearing human, and basically it would make you like a tree that is capable of producing fruits with various effects, such as poisonous ones, hallucinogenic ones, or, if awakened, even other fake devil fruits that could temporarily give people who eat It the standard devil fruit weakness to water. With the use of armament haki, you could shape the fruits as you want them similar to how they grow cubic watermelons in Japan. The user could also use photosynthesis to regenerate lost limbs over time, and use vines and razor sharp leaves as blades for combat. Another awakening ability would be the ability to grow iron hard bark all over yourself as armor, as well as the ability to wider variety of crazy fruits like mentioned above, or even like explosive fruits. The obvious weakness would be fire based attacks, but also the fact that you would wilt without rain and sunlight to support you.

Allows the user to basically still themselves, giving themselves a burst of courage, (reference to the chapter w/ momo and zoro) can distribute courage to others or even take it from others. When other's have their "courage" taken, they're body sends them signals associated with fear. Like Conq. Haki but wont knock out, just scare.( *Kinda similar to Perona's df but more OP* ).
Now, the weakness is that someone with a strong enough will wont be effected and attempting to steal they're courage will just give them a stat boost. But in the right hands, this fruit is OP.
The awakening is what makes it OP.
It's awakening is called *PLUNDER*: Allows the user to steal or plunder something from an object or a person, namely aspects or properties of whatever it's stealing from. For example, it can steal a giant's height or strength, or a blade's sharpness (user would then have abilities similar to Mr.1), or a Fire's heat, an animal's fur and so many more I want to write down but just think *SOFT & WET from Jojolion and BAN from 7 deadly sins.*

The Mutt-Mutt Fruit, Fox Model is a Zoan-type devil fruit that allows its user to transform into a fox hybrid and a full fox at will, making the user a Fox Human. The user is granted with claws ,fangs and a large bushy tail (large enough that the user can cover their whole body) while in their hybrid form and gain enhanced speed and strength equal to or better than an average fox which is added on to their human fighting stats. A unique skill this fruit gives is a hypersonic fox yell/screech that can be used as a soundwave attack able to shatter stone and make ears bleed. It's just an exaggerated version of fox mating calls, which is a sharp, high-pitched shrieking/screaming noise, which can sound terrifying. A weakness of this fruit is the overly large tail in it's hybrid form. Very easy to grab and exploit in battle.
