What a GENIUS Jigarano Kano was. An absolute true martial arts master. Nothing sceptical or dodgy about this martial art phenomenon.

    Thank you.
I think many martial artists has students that were bullied. Some just want just to be bad, there's always that type, but any number want to protect themselves from others that like to throw their weight around.

Judo and karaté are so different and complementary both on a physical aspect and the philosophy. With added resistance training people are more able to train on the long term and defend themself rather than boxing and wresting that i would call dominating/ attacking sports that are traumatising. No one train wrestling after 40 despite the fact that life doesnt end there. Judo blend sensibillity and reality wich is much more the samuraï mindset than gladiator. Thank you for that beautiful channel.

I think people don't train wrestling after 40 partially because it's usually hard to find clubs for recreational training. Wrestling is usually taught in a school or in a private club for competition.
Judo is a form of wrestling, by the way.

@@cafecreme5049 In the US, a lot of Universities have wrestling. Judo isn't as popular here as in France unfortunately.

@@Gonosen In that it attempts to blend with the energy of the opponent to leverage a superior throw or position. And possibly in the idea of doing least harm (that still may mean to maim or kill, but not unless needed).
