Used to live up in Leaf Rapids. My dad and I had a fish farm up there. 20km south of Leaf Rapids. Before he passed away we released about 3000 rainbow and Arctic Char. Sizes ranging from 1lb to 6lb. Would love to go back and try fishing to see if anything survived the monster jack fish in there.

Hey first video I’ve seen and you mentioned what a trophy consists of in your area how do I find that info out for my area it’s peters pond in sandwich Massachusetts my daughter has nailed a few back to back brooks around 21-23” just few days ago and I’m not a familiar trout angler

Jay, plan to go the extra bit to Reindeer Lake. Ice camp and go around by sled. Ice fishing better than open water for the big 50+ pound Lake Trout. Hands down best fishing in Manitoba. That’s the big leagues.

I am from Switzerland and mainly do Perch, pike and the odd trout Fishing. Ever since finding your channel, I'm addicted to watching it.
Alex and Jay both took time from there busy booths at the Winnipeg ice fishing show to let me ask them a few questions and even get a few pictures, they were great!
