    After all these years, Jason finally broke his original Guitar Hero controller by beating Jordan, which he is adamant is still the hardest song. When he looked up he saw a guitar on his wall but had to call Brian and guitarist Mario Alvarez to figure out what it was and how to use it.
    Hey cool guy, yeah that's right, you. Look, we're all impressed at how good you already are at guitaring but this isn't a master class for virtuosos. We're going over basic chords in this one. Barely know how to hold this bad boy? Perfect, we're gonna get you to make some noise that isn't total garbage!

      got a friend of me probably the most epic rejection i´ve ever heard (i mean i got one pretty good one myself. i think the girl i liked at that time was quite savage but one girl my mate wanted to impress. that was the definition of savage) the girl pretty cute, maybe 1,50-1,55 tall, blonde a real looker if you like smaller girls, and definitely not the type you´d expect ever near a guitar unless when a hot guy is playing it. My buddy, i´ve got to admit, is quite handsome and well he knew some tricks, that would probably be enough to get most girls. confident, the mess he was playing also did not sound too horrible to my inept ears (like i do listen to enough music especially metal, as you can see from the username, and my ears are quite sharp, but i have no talent for instruments of any kind. and when it comes to singing a friend of me said "don´t sing under the shower, the water might flee") so he grabbed a guitar from the wall she shows no reaction, and then he just plays something, as i said it was a mess but not to bad. but her reaction was just "give the guitar and get me a vodka little boy. otherwise i won´t stand idiots who don´t know jack shit about guitars" she grabs the guitar and plays ride the lightning by metallica like it would be the easiest thing in the world

    7:10 On a C major chord, don't play the low E string (the thickest string). Same thing for the D major chord, but don't play the 2 thickest strings.

      hellothere I'm not here to banter but if you play a c chord you are already playing 2 e notes in an octave

      hellothere eh, playing C with an E bass note hardly makes a difference.

      @@lcarpetrondookmariot7620 if you had ever played with a band or someone else, you'll know how much inversions of a chord really matter

    • @themightymcb7310
      @themightymcb7310 5 років тому

      You can, it just changes the chord to an inversion, so it would be a C/E. E is already in a C major chord, so adding it isnt wrong. Just a different flavor of C major.

    Funny enough, what you learned can be extended to a system that may seem somewhat familiar.
    In Scam School you talked about the CHSD ("chased") pattern a bit for setting up a deck. Guitar has something similar called the "CAGED" method.
    Basically they way he slid the power chord up and down the neck works with the open chords he showed you too (C, G, E, D, as well as A which he didn't show you). Since these chords can be played in the open position, you can slide them up, playing them as "barre chords" to basically get their characteristic texture at higher notes. So if you can learn CAGED, you can (at a basic harmonic level) learn any song.

In my opinion, the guitar is quite the gentleman's instrument, and therefore, I believe this video should be categorized under the "The Modern Rogue is a Gentleman" playlist.
