@@brianpan6453 Thank you! I did not know how small it is. But it looks like an interesting Catholic town in Orthodox Serbia.
Hi Dan
I was there 14 years ago for business. Stayed 2 months It is a beautiful city but I found that anywhere outside of my hotel no one spoke English Maybe things have changed
Things have changed I guess. We are running into English speakers everywhere.
A very nice looking city - but 2 months of snow cover is a deal breaker for me ! --- Even now it looks like it's cold for the time of year. -?- Rent prices are also a ''deal breaker'' - simply too expensive for a budget I am comfortable with. --- Europe is generally too expensive for my liking and the weather rarely satisfies.
Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)
Bulgaria is not that cold. Sunny, and dry comparing to very humid South Asia. Prices went up everywere these days
@@VagabondAwake :-)
@@andraskleistenes8586 If the ground is covered by snow for 2 months / year -- it's too damn cold for me !!! -- That's what the record says. + I need more English for everyday comfortable living - less stress & isolation. -- Antalya & Cyprus climates would be much better.
What about the age gap in dating and relationships?
You see some but not as many as in SE Asia.
dude summers have never averaged 26 celsius in sofia
We just use online weather reporting averages. What is your experience of summer average?
@@VagabondAwake well if its june-early september, 30 would be more accurate as an average in my opinion
Wrong. Skopje is far cheaper.
We head there in about 6 weeks!
I just left for it became MUCH TO expensive!!
Yes and I am from the shitty Netherlands!!
Where did you move and is it more or less?
Did Netherlands became shitty because of mass immigration??
It is getting dearer everywhere this time, unfortunately...
Too cold. Sorry
Skopje, North Macedonia may be slightly cheaper. I have not checked rent there recently.
@@Analog_nomad01
In Vietnam is chipper then North Macedonia, but you don’t leave there.
The USA sounds like hell these days
The quality of life in the USA suffers in my opinion because it is so focused on money and ego. I couldn't see it very well while I was living there.
This mind-numbing video starts at 3:45 .
Thanks for your thoughts.
"Sofia is known for most affordable european capital city" . This is so misleading and total bull. Sofia is amazing though and i love living here so much
What city would you say qualifies for that title. Insults don't convey contrary information. They just make you feel big. Are you here just here to insult or move the ball forward? This is a community, I don't pretend to be a know it all.
@@VagabondAwake well, first of all Europe is not EU. There are very poor countries in Europe (e.g Albania, Bosnia, Serbia, Moldova, N.Macedonia, Belarus). Even if we talk about the EU i still do not agree that Sofia is cheapest because we have the IT sector which is very developed. For example my employeer pays less salary for the same position in Madrid, Porto and in Budapest for sure. I would argue that there are capital cities in the EU that are cheaper.
I think Kiev is cheaper ...
Are you quitting your day job to be a stand up? lol. I love Kiev. But I'll save my next visit for another time.
You are so full of it. But I guess some say anything for a Buck.
You must be paying more? Many people spend more. Are you living there now? What are your numbers?
Iraq is safe than the US lol
Maybe not for Americans or Brits, etc? travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/iraq-travel-advisory.html
@@VagabondAwake im not so sure but it was sarcasm with a hint of the dangers of the US and UK
Cheap for Americans, but NOT for all others without dollars!!
DUH
Yes, I guess the dollar is pretty strong right now.
It's cheap with BTC as well.
And Bitcoin is still cheap now.
