The search for the perfect tactical pants continues, sorta. I've been a huge fan of the Vertx Delta Stretch pants for years now, and though I continue searching for the "perfect" pair of tactical pants, I've kind of already found them. Through the years of evolution of the Vertx Delta Stretch pants, they've really become such a good pair of pants, I wouldn't change a whole lot about them. These pants handle all my adventures, carry all my gear, and keep me comfortable the whole time. Many have asked for a lighter weight version of the relatively heavy Vertx Delta Stretch, and Vertx heard the call. The Vertx Delta Stretch LT is here, and it doesn't disappoint. For those that are fans of 5.11, KUHL, Patagonia, Arc'teryx, Prana, Beyond Clothing, Tactical Distributors, North Face, and others - these are a pair of pants worth checking out. As comfortable as a pair of sweatpants, but with more features than MacGyver could ever dream of - are these the perfect pair of pants?

I've been rocking the deltas since the first ones came out, funny I have the same old colors you do. They've definitely worn in well and stood the test of time. I'm definitely going to have to try out these new LTs, they look perfect.

Dude that's awesome you are helping out at vertx and have something you are designing! I really think they need some more stuff for the everyday guy. I love vertx as they are and that will only make them better! Can't wait to see more of the house build hopefully it all gets going better! Also I definitely think you should do another giveaway build! I have for sure jumped on the skeletool as an edc it is awesome! I need to try these pants out!

Dude thanks for sharing info on these pants, saw your review on them a few years ago and never pulled the trigger until I recently lost a bunch of weight and needed new pants, and thought hey didn’t LLOD have a review on edc pants, and now I’ve purchased 4 vertex pants and I’m in love, just wish the deltas had more colors in my size in stock
Bought one pair because of this video….and fell in love with them. Now I own 3 pairs of the 2.1 and one pair of the LTs. And I have another LT on the way. Thanks man! Best pants ever.

My favorite pants for winter and I also cut off other Vertx pants for summer as well. Since you have their ear, I would LOVE to see that brown looking "Olive Green" (my absolute favorite) as well as the actually green "Moss" from the first gen brought back. Luckily I bought quite a few but they are starting to show their age, and the lack of those colors that I dig so much is the reason I haven't bought more of the new ones, even though I like the added pockets of the updated versions. Ive had an issue with small holes appearing below the belt loops onb the back of the pants after about 9 months. Vertx sent me a warranty replacement. Very cool.
I'd watch this before. Now having ruined a pair of Deltas I'm going to try these. You are the one that turned me onto Deltas and the Vertx brand. I noticed you commented on the leather piece removing and bringing it back. I keep my knife in that pocket usually using a benchmade and I think having that leather makes it a pain to get in and out. Now on the other side my olight is no problem must be knife clips being more rigid.
Flex fits are 100% the way to go dude ✌ stoked to see some of the house build too 👍

LLOD! Thank you for the time you put in on your reviews. Anyone notice they run a little tighter than usual? I usually get 30/30 with most pants. I wear lucky brand, du/er, Levi, bullhead, banana rep, condor, ect. I bought my normal size of 30/30 had to return. I purchased the next size up and it’s going to be another return.
Hey Mike, I run a Vertx Gamut 2.0 daily, and my biggest complaint with it are that the drawstring cinches for the water bottle pockets are on the inside of the pockets instead of the outside. It seems trivial, but it really makes the pockets less than ideal to use. Other than that its built like a tank. It fits 97% of my needs and is a great EDC bag.
I'm also going to pick up a pair of the Delta 2.1s on your recommendation. As always the content you create is appreciated.
I'd love a Delta Stretch 2.1 short. One thing I also like but don't use for the intended purpose is on my current 5.11 shorts- they have the grab strap on the right hip... that is a great place for clipping a 'biner of keys. Something like that would be awesome. As always, love the content and the info!

I bought 3 pairs of the delta stretch 2.1 based on your recommendation. I absolutely love them. I'd have a 4th pair if they had sand cookie in my size, but I've been told that was a seasonal color unfortunately...

I went to Vertx based on your reviews of the standard version but saw the LTs and went right for those. Incredible. Sooooo comfortable. They stretch after a couple hours of wear a lot! Which I like. I have big athletic thighs (6’ 180, 32 inch waste) and get the 33/32 and they fit just a bit snug in the thigh at first but after a couple hours, perfect. I don’t dry them in the dryer, air dry and wash on cold so no shrinkage. Pockets are amazing.
I have a similar build and found they got stretched out way too fast. …. I submitted a review on their website months ago and it was never published. I guess they don’t publish anything that’s not a glowing review

They're comfortable and perfect for the summer days. Perfect for work, play, and chill. Most of all, personally, they're true to size. I ordered 30x32 and that's what I got. Not 30x34, not 31.5x30.5 lol.
Btw, I've been searching for a pair like this since last summer! Every pair I've bought has been returned.
The mag pockets are perfect cell pockets. You can sit and they don't push the phone into you like either a front or regular back pocket would.
Great review as usual. Vertx jeans are my favorite jeans. 2nd is Viktos Operatus. Shorts Vertx or Kuhl.

Good to see the tarmac color next to the exhaust. On their site it looks black. The gray looks like an awesome color for these.

I have a pair of the LT. I got them on your suggestion using your coupon code i think. I actually don't like them much at all to be honest. The sweat pants feel is extremely awkward to me. I prefer pants that are thicker and feel a little tougher. I've also found that these pants print literally every single thing I have in every pocket. I look like I stole a bunch of stuff from home depot. I get nervous walking around knowing I'm broadcasting every item. And even though they are the same length as all of my other pants, they feel a lot shorter for whatever reason. They almost go above my ankle, whereas the other pants I have that are the same size actually go to the base of my ankle and down into my shoe a little.
The only thing I really like are the pocket designs. I really like the zipper pocket a lot.
I don't recommend them tbh.
The pants that I discovered for me are the 511 coalition. Cotton pants, but feels thick and durable, doesn't print as much and they still stretch. I don't need 14 pockets; I only need like 6 or 7 at most. Those are my go-to.
I've been wearing Delta Stretch pants since they came out. Fit is great throughout the updates. I'm glad they went back to the leather-like trim on the 2.1 leg pockets. It looks better. One of the original colors was Sand. It was a light tan color that went with almost any color shirt. I wore them or the Tobacco color everywhere almost every day. Office or outdoors. Then, the Sand color disappeared. Later a weird greenish Sand Cookie color came out. I have a pair but rarely wear them. I see there is a Desert Tan color now. I'm hoping it's the same as the original Sand. I haven't seen the LTs yet, but I'll definitely pick up a pair to try since I'm in the Southeast. It'll be good if the listed price for the LTs is a little cheaper than $94. I know they're not designer priced, but the regular Deltas were like 20 or 25 bucks less not that long ago. I like cargo pants that have “internal” leg pockets. Functional, but streamline. Like 5.11 Apex pant style.
I love love love vertx pants EXCEPT the fit…i wish soooo bad they would make 1 pair in a baggier or relaxed boot cut fit

had the Delta Stretch 2.0 for a year, then just bought two more pair 2 months ago. Yes, I agree that these are great. Just nice to have a good alternative to wearing jeans everyday. Do you have any of their shirts? Just bought their Dadeland CCW short sleeve, and hope it fits and wears well too. And yes, pant reviews are a perfect match to your truck, gun, camping, EDC videos......

Finally bought a pair of the 2.1's aaaaand they were too small. Usually wear 34/34 but these were a bit tight around the waist. I'm returning them for a bigger size.

I do love the blue alpha belt I just wish it was a bit easier to adjust. I find my pants bunch up if it’s too tight and then if it’s too loose the gun prints more

I love my vertx 3 years in but not going too strong the seem above the back pockets rip and get restitched would buy again, side not i got a size too small on blackfriday when i found them for $10 and made my butt pop😅

Pants feed back. I have 2 delta stretches, the delta stretch Lt and the cutback tech. They all stain easily. Every pair I get something on em within the 1st week and it never comes out. Not sure if that's just the nature of the beast because of material but it would be nice if they had a little stain resistance

Absolutely one of my favorite pants (Delta 2.1, anyway), but those mesh pockets on both have been destroyed and have multiple holes in less than a year. It's so sad. That being said, my TripleAughtDesign pants have done the exact same thing. If these companies could do a mesh with a kevlar or other UHPW that would be really helpful.

The 2.1 pants are my favorite but I personally don’t like the leather edge of the side pockets. It’s too thick and a standard knife clip just catches on it. How do you think the durability compares on the LT to the 2.1? I’m a computer tech and often climb under desks so I like the thickness and stretch.

I just recently got 2 pairs of the the delta stretch 2.1. I had the first Gen ones for a couple of years now and loved them. My favorite pant. I had a sharpie in my front pocket and for some reason it bleed out. I have a sharpie stain a size of a quarter now. I bought 2 pairs of the 2.1 but they didn't have the same color which was the sand. I ended up getting dessert tan and shock cord. For some reason they don't fit as well as my original sand ones. I don't know if I just need to keep wearing them to stretch them out some to where they fit better or what. I do recommend the sand color over the dessert tan color. Bummer I can't find the first Gen sand one. Any ideas of how to get a sharpie stain out?

Ordered 8 pairs and within the same models the crotch cut and fit is different
Have both the 2.1 and the LT and like them both. One issue I have with the 2.1 material is it seems like they crease pretty bad in the dryer and even with ironing I can get the crease to go away. Any tips on how to fix this?
