I'm a big ol gay who spent literally 20 years deeply embedded in multiple gay scenes across the country. I started to notice that straight people were being welcomed in as "queer" around 2017/2018. I lived with a TW during lockdown who told me that trans people experience the same pains as Women do, in response to me saying my Mother had her life ruined by a hystorectomy. Said TW said they experience pain every day in being misgendered or disrespected. It was in that moment I knew it was a crock of shit and I haven't stepped foot in the "community" since.

My son in law was married to my daughter for 13 years and she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy who has autism. Her husband decided he wanted to be a woman and transitioned. Some intersex people can have ovarian and testicular tissue. And a trans man would almost certainly have ovaries. You can have someone who may look like a pretty convincing man, such that no one would know otherwise, but they still have ovaries. I'm not sure what the intent of the ad/post was, but it's quite possible that a woman being treated for ovarian cancer might encounter someone who looks like a man and is also being treated along side of her. I assume they're trying to make women aware that they might run into this situation and to not freak out.

The only reason the panelists think trans women should be in sports is because they're not the ones who have to compete. They aren't invested in it, and so they don't actually care. The ONLY PEOPLE whose opinion should ultimately matter on this topic are female-born athletes, and they are all in agreement that trans women have an unfair advantage when it comes to sports. If you want trans women in sports, either make a separate category or have them compete against the men. By the way, the men's category isn't actually a male-only category - it's actually for everyone. Women actually CAN participate in competitions against other males if they wanted to. There aren't any regulations against it. The reason the female category even exists is because if it didn't, women wouldn't ever win medals in sports. They said he was better looking than they were. Only look inside a person. I do disagree with the gender affirming care to children. Sorry so long winded.

It didn't used to be, it was a real movement to protect LBG, highlight discrimination, bring people together so they didn't feel alone, especially when it was harder to be 'out', and make connections. Now Pride in London often resembles an orgfest or a drug fuelled stripclub, most definitely x-rated and people take young children there to 'show their support' more than anything else. I know we are behind the times but here, in Inverness, it literally is a peaceful walk and info sharing with a party at the end of it, everyone keeps their clothes on (maybe that's our weather though!)

Some intersex people can have ovarian and testicular tissue. And a trans man would almost certainly have ovaries. You can have someone who may look like a pretty convincing man, such that no one would know otherwise, but they still have ovaries. I'm not sure what the intent of the ad/post was, but it's quite possible that a woman being treated for ovarian cancer might encounter someone who looks like a man and is also being treated along side of her. I assume they're trying to make women aware that they might run into this situation and to not freak out.

A lot of them even agree that it's unfair for trans women to compete against cis women in sports. It's not homophobic or transphobic to point out when certain people can't make proper arguments.
The only reason the panelists think trans women should be in sports is because they're not the ones who have to compete. They aren't invested in it, and so they don't actually care. The ONLY PEOPLE whose opinion should ultimately matter on this topic are female-born athletes, and they are all in agreement that trans women have an unfair advantage when it comes to sports.
If you want trans women in sports, either make a separate category or have them compete against the men. By the way, the men's category isn't actually a male-only category - it's actually for everyone. Women actually CAN participate in competitions against other males if they wanted to. There aren't any regulations against it. The reason the female category even exists is because if it didn't, women wouldn't ever win medals in sports.
Yet it's funny how you never see any trans men competing in the male competitions. You only ever see trans women in sports. Funny how that works, huh?

Reversing that scenario, if a guy isn't gay, and wants to be with a woman, that won't mean a woman who has male physiology, in almost every case. Very simple and fair. Biological women are not men, they're very different, unless you're being intentionally obtuse about it.
Being a straight male and not wanting a man dressed up as a woman does not make you transphobic. It means that you have the freedom to choose your sexual preferences. But somehow THEIR sexual preferences are more important than ours.

I’m a lesbian and this is literally a huge issue at the moment to the point where lesbians are no longer welcome in gay spaces if they say they’re not interested in trans women.
They call even gays and lesbians who don't want to date trans people transphobic, so yes.
