Free Gold From A Mineralized Outcrop & New Au Finds

- Removing a sample from a showing containing free gold in nugget and fine gold form. The area is heavily mineraled and consists of breccia, shales, quartz, calcite, clay, sand all in an outcrop 75 meters wide. There is mineralization in the form of oxides and sulphides which contains varying grades of free gold, minor amounts of silver, platinum, palladium, and other minor amounts of metals found in sulphide form.
Showings number two and three are new discoveries and have been tested. A high concentration of iron with some good gold was found but a lot more exploration is needed.
Assays and testing were done on all three showings and the results are at the end of the video!

Awesome amounts of precious metals in that material! It was nice to see some Platinum and Palladium come out too. We don't really get the chance to see the Platinum group metals as often as silver and gold. I've seen gold and silver be processed a bunch of times, but I don't think I've seen very many Platinum group metals recovered and shown. Cody's lab did one video on it. I'd love to see a good amount of Platinum get processed and shown.
We don't have a lot of the platinum group metals here, I would say our main ores mined have gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc

Just found your channel and enjoy your videos, I can no longer get out and play in the creeks of our gold districts. Had collected a bucket of moss and washed the dirt out of it, managed to get < 0.1gm of gold flakes mixed with some black sand. Saved it to a small bottle and have not done anything with it since. At 70 with traumatic injuries to my back and legs suffered in a chopper crash in 91 I need a walker to get around or a cane for short distances, neither are good for beating around in the bushes. So I enjoy the great outdoors thru the adventures of men and women like you. When wasting occurs from a vein/sill etc. are fluvial/alluvial screes conning heavies and running in a line downward like a paystreak in a placer deposit? Three years ago, too...sweet. Love the class on sulfides. Thank you!

Lots of copper, nickel, and chrome here, but the mineralization looks nothing like the ores and gossans you show us! If I was a young man still I'd move somewhere more conducive to prospecting. It is so much fun even if you only find mineral specimens and memories.

How do you separate the platinum and gold ?
Any chance on a pic of that platinum and palladium? It is difficult to find photographs of panning situations where those are present. Thanks in advance!
It's in sulphide form no free mill Gold is the only free mill element found here with multiple sulphides.
We have rumor of platinum here but from what I have seen it looks very similar to local lead found in the river. Grey or pinkish corn flakes..
So do you find a lot of pyrite with your gold and also have you found silver and platinum how do you test for the Palladium that you're talking about
+Emily Clements Yes most gold we find is either in sulphide form and needs to be refined or it comes as free milling but usually there's some form of mineralization with it. Most of our testing is done by a lab. There are field tests you can do but most of the work we do goes in assesment reports so assays are needed, not to mention there way more accurate!
Gold is usually from water activity. Ancient seeps, hot water in lava, hot springs. That's why gold is rare in Minnesota quartz everywhere but no water activity lol.

Just curious on how you separated the gold and different metals (the platinum and palladium) in outcrop site 1.
+Doom Punk We only took what gold was possible by panning initially, the rest was separated by an assay lab we wanted an accurate picture of everything we were removing. There were multiple metals and sulphides which would of made it difficult for us to do properly.
Have you been able to identify any properties that may have sufficient strike length and assay numbers to option said mineral properties (prospect generator)? Some of the vids you've shown here on UA-cam seem quite remarkable if can be shown similar along strike.
+unhappy Gilmore Yes we have a few with very good potential we are looking at for the option route right now. Some of the smaller high grade showings we are going to be removing ourselves.

Looks like the rock on one of our claims northeast of Barstow, Wash.
Justin, these areas look like they have been exposed for many years, so they have had time to oxidize from their sulfate and sulfide beginnings. Some even look like they may contain some arsenic, as well. The lack of actively growing vegetation immediately below the area may indicate sulfuric acid in that soil from that formerly sulfate ore. My question: Is there a simple field test for arsenic since the EPA here in the states makes processing such ore very difficult, if not impossible. I assume the BC equivalent of our EPA probably has similar restrictions on you, as well.

Hey Guys, awesome vid yet once again!!.. I have a few perhaps different questions for you, firstly, what does it cost on average for all the lab work you guys do (say, per claim) or is it by weight? I know you get it back in your sales or options, but here in Alta, there isn’t much for labs as the gold here is just “flour” for the most part, and lode gold is almost unheard of...
For the most part, people here aren’t so much looking for platinum or much else for that matter, though we do have gems for those who care to look.
Secondly, wouldn’t it be worth a small backpack drill to get some core to assay? Or is that later on in the process?
On a final note, you guys are the bomb! I really miss prospecting Northern Ontario, and you guys make for a nice quick fix (at least I can see it, if not touch it around here. Gotta love ranch Land!

+Lee Hilton Not for us well remove some by hand but that's it. We are mainly a prospecting and exploration based company. We are looking more at a junior mining company optioning the property if they find it worthwhile they would most likely buy the claims.

Work it full time with family and couple of buddies until i can just go do it for the fun of it and whenever i need money. Know what I mean? Unfortunately my current location is putting a yield on that. My closed place would be the black hills and thats 4 and half hours west. So its goin to be a min. Really enjoyed to video by the way. +Lee Hilton depends on the claim an optioning agreement pay well as long as they keep your claim usually it's annually and smelter royalties. If they buy it that's when you make a big lump sum! Glad you enjoyed the video!

I'm new to gold prospecting and I need much help and education in finding out how and where to find Au. I live in New York . And I understand that there is Gold here. But where ? Yesterday I was out hiking the mountain areas near where I live. I found multiple rocks and boulders that had lots of quartzs and material that looked like rust. Some rocks had quartz that had small fissures and tube like structure to it. These various rocks and boulders were spread out over a large area maybe due to farming and or construction over the past 100 yrs, based on my knowledge of the area. I took some samples and made short videos of the locations where I found what I thought might be suspect gold bearing rocks. Now what do I do with them ? Also could you try not to move the camera so fast when you are describing and showing the various minerals so I can get a better look at what you are showing. Thanks. I've learned a lot already from you and hope to get better at finding gold and other valuable minerals here in NY. Ray. R.
At the 6-7 minute part of the video would that be considered placer or was it just really rotten bedrock?
Fraser Tackle That would be considered a placer deposit, however in BC there's certain areas were you can't stake a placer claim... most places it is staked as a mineral claim unless your in a placer reserve. British Columbia has some wierd rules:)
Me and my brother check tailings ponds for ore; we have hundreds of old abandoned and decommissioned mines in the area. Have never found any easier gold, and silver than what old miners have left behind... there’s some quality ore for the home gamer should they go through the trouble of refining it.
What wasn't valuable then is now with the change in metal prices. We always sample old mines and there dumps for that reason.

At 6:45 in your vid looks like an ancient creek bed there , the rocks are water worn , your first outcrop looks like an old workings ,how is it that no one had a claim on it ,you don't just walk up and find something like that anywhere , because everything there is to discover has already been found long ago ,people don't just walk away from anything of value , just wondering ?.
The outcrops are daily newly exposed. Within 5 years I have had the property scince.

+Richard Robertson 911 Mining & Prospecting is our company name. We are an small company who focuses on exploration of mineral and occasionally placer claims. We often do a crush an pan on site when there's water present, (sometimes theres no creeks present) however most material in our area will contain not only free gold but numerous minerals found along with sulphides. We are not only after gold but all minerals with potential. Which is why we will usually do various sampling to determine what we have.
We are currently only doing projects in BC. But that's not saying we won't go elsewhere. Most of the videos are on our current, past properties or ones we will make our claims.
