Hey all! I recently bought an Acre of land to build a homestead for my family. Its a huge project and I'm documenting all my work there. Go check it out in this video playlist :) Thanks for Watching! ua-cam.com/play/PLs3aM0rQNXUh0Jih7S2UCuaohvtxppEQQ.html
i was thinking exactly the same!! 😂 Id be expecting morning coffee in bed for a month after this. Looks awesome well done. Gotta love aquascape for sending freebies 👌
No! Something that spectacular needs a pond with fish! Especially Koi. I have a koi pond and they are some of the most interesting and beautiful pets. Tranquility in its finest.
Oh my god!..You made it so quickly! I am really admiring your abilities in doing that quite large waterfall in this small project..I am a french guy and i ll try to do the same in my garden. Thanks a lot for this interesting video.
I think what you do, showing that these types of projects are not out of reach for ordinary people wanting to improve their living space is just brilliant, your an inspiration.
Totally Awesome., How about a video of electric hook up for the pump, and running the hose's to the top of the water fall. Beautiful Family your a lucky Man. Love your Videos!
This is beautiful and so natural looking! I love that you took inspiration from the streams you saw in the mountains. You're a natural water feature artist.
Great job, looks cool, just love the natural way it flows, looks like a mountain stream, think you got lots of brownie points with your m.i.I great job
Just from a purely artistic stzndpoint, I'd say that a variation of rocks, (some more round ones) would improve this. Also more plants would help. I see that this was done 3 years ago, so I bet it has filled in. I'd love to see what it looks like now!
nice result. I build water features for fun. I wish you had included how you approach pump access. They do break and I find need to be cleaned out annually.
Even though this video is a year old I still love your style! The editing and length of the video is perfect! Subscribed! PS Oh and BTW, the waterfall is beautiful too!
Dude you're kicking it.... Majorly! Awesome Flow with Incredible Sound effects! I love it! Thanks for making this happen. I'm sure you earned some good son in law Points too!
Thank you! Just finished a giant rock fountain and could not solve what to do with my pond and attempt at waterfall when I realized I didn't have enough slope and the pond was back filling ......this is my solution...smaller drops and flatter rocks. Could not thank you enough.
I love this so much! You are awesome. I just found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching. You’re so sweet to do all of these loving projects for your family. I am so very sorry about your family business. Keeping you all in our prayers.
@@travisjantzer smaller water features that look fully custom but don't require highly specific landscape, tools, knowledge and time. The front yard stream and upgrade you did was excellent as well.
@@shauntoochaos235 ok that’s what I though you meant! I’m glad. That’s why I make mine the way I do. No machinery or professional help. They’re not as difficult as people may think.
Yes love it ! Thx for showing entire process to help us understand entire concept ! Looks amazing n your on your mother in laws Best sin in Law list forever !! Lol lol beautiful job !!
Invest in a cheap rotor hammer, it’ll save you tons of time and back ache when it comes to digging. Pond looks good, plan on starting mine when this Northern California summer decides to take a break. Thx for the ideas.
Thanks for showing me, that if you use flat rocks, and if you position them right " it gives the affect that its one big boulder. Big rocks / boulders are so expensive !
I don’t typically ‘like’ a lot of vids - but you’re getting one from me right now. Hopefully it helps bring in a few more views, a couple more dollars, and subsequently more beautiful water features for us viewers to admire. I hope you continue creating. This turned out great.
Looks great only problem is trimming those bushes under the window of house is going to be a major chore now, I think I would have gotten rid of the bushes and replaced with medium height ornamental grasses which compliments the waterfall. Looks and sounds beautiful another awesome job.
This looks fabulous!! Wish I had a bit more detail in end of foam use ,& rock placement. I’m 66 & would give this a shot. Can’t afford to hire anyone. Details are critical for any of us that Ned to DIY. Thank you!!
Travis...you nailed it! Your waterscape is exactly what my backyard corner bare landscaping needs! So glad I found your video! Can you please tell me the approximate length and width of your waterfall?
Amazing work! Love seeing your progression. And kudos to you for braving the heat like that, I'm just south of you in Mount Shasta and had to halt work on mine due to the insane temps.
NICE! a bit confused with the "fill in", here & there to get direction & *sound.* Would love to know more; Thanks! Without a "donation" of Rock, Pump, Liner, etc ... not much [left] help for us, either.
