Hell yea!! I always dismounted and mounted outside tires that way. No arguing with rusted, inner and outer bud nuts or seized piloted wheels. Note!!! Unless they have been curbed/ bent.
Most my trailers still have spoke rims. I had a tire guy come out to change a flat. He spent 10 min. Trying to get the blown tire off the highside of the rim. He said hed been a tire guy for 20 yrs.
A single tire repair at the Loves truck stop in Ellensburg wa. Took over a hour. Expecting the same for my repair I told the manager they just set the record for longest tire change ever and left.
this is an excellent demonstration of force = mass x velocity, and how leverage is a force multiplier.. shame they did not show this man's twin, who held the truck up during the demonstration. the above dose of satire, came a thumbs up and huge respect for changing truck tires like this.
i have never been stranded because of tires until i tried super singles it didn't take long before i got rid of them. plus they sucked on ice and snow.
I've always had the utmost respect for the truck tire changers ball busting work will little thanks hot days rainy nights other side of the road cars screaming by and he didn't take the rims off
Get it! Enjoy being young and those glory days. (I mean that with nothing bad behind that comment) I used to be able to move like that back in the day too, on what i do for a living.
People who have never done truck tires before: WOW THIS GUY IS A MACHINE! SO IMPRESSIVE! Anyone who has done truck tires before: This video literally only shows the easiest part. The old tires had already been taken off, unless they were blown out, the rims had to be taken off first, so then what, did they put the rims back on after that? If so, why? It would've been even easier to mount the tires to the rims while off the truck, although mounting a tire to a rim that's already on a truck isn't all that difficult either. 😂😂😂
It's crazy how fast these tire guys can work when they're being recorded on video. Every time I've had a truck worked on they're working extremely slow I just dont understand.
I've been doing tire's for about 30 year's putting them on like that is not the hard part let's see how long it took him to get the old ones off supper singles are a softer tire
I currently work at a family owned truck stop, and I do this stuff on a daily basis, matter fact, I had to do a total of 10, 2 steer, 8 rear, in less than 2 hours, granted 2 others were with me
I hated the super singles on my rig. First trip out was a load of beer headed to Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the winter. After unloading I had to have a pickup truck get me back to the interstate so I could get back south, away from the snow. Idiot engineers didn't think about that shit did they. And when these tired blow out at 70 mph, there is nothing left, they shatter apart. Rubber chunks fly all directions. Happily Retired After 4.5 million miles logged in 21 years. No accidents, 3 speeding tickets. 3 seatbelt tickets, 2 logbook tickets. I no longer worry about carrying a driver's license. I no longer ask for anyone's permission to travel. I AM FREE...
Everyone is impressed with his timing. Speed is not always better, one wrong move and his back, shoulders are blown. Work smarter not harder. I will admit Fred Flintstone is good, when he's down that company will kick him to the curb and blame him and deny any comp benefits.
I'll Pay a mechanic like this guy triple if can get me in and out in 1hr. But never the case. It's usually 4hrs just to get In the bay and another 3 to get the work done.
Ppl say too slow ..who ever says that never done truck tires themselves.im 6ft4 280lbs and I got a service truck and decided to. Also do tires so I could be busy non stop.well its hard as fuck!!!!!! Nobody showed me how to take m off n on.1st tire took me n hr. N I thought I was gonna pass out from the struggle off not knowing how to take a tire off n 90ferenheit ....this job is brutal
That is a powerful man. And he has the skills to back it up. Impressive.

Some one will look at the video and expect you work like that day in day out for minimum wage.
It’s a young man’s job, this hard work takes a toll on your body. A Bad back is what we end up with.
And the young guys just laugh. That's why the tire shops hire them...dummies..Hey watch me!
Years later, my back is farked up.
@@BobSmith-mc7uq yup!
True but every job leaves you messed up
Impressive!! I used to be a tire changer for passenger vehicles. He actually put those truck tires faster than we can put tires on cars.
Give that man a raise he's a boss !!!! Dudes a beast
That’s crazy man! Give that man a raise! A human tire machine!
Rapaz. Tu é uma máquina de montar pneus. Rápido demais. Agora as costas sofre. Parabéns e cuide delas.
Hell yea!! I always dismounted and mounted outside tires that way. No arguing with rusted, inner and outer bud nuts or seized piloted wheels. Note!!! Unless they have been curbed/ bent.
Very true. And the best part is not even needing a jack, just a good old trusty piece of wood.
Looks much easier than mounting regular duals, especially split rims. I did it when I was younger but damn sure wouldn't do it today
Definitely not easier than duals
You Sir are a Boss.
Slapped those on quicker than writing an invoice...amazing !!!
Very hard work! Not many could handle this job.
It’s like being at the pit stop at a race track
Q práctica loco ,la verdad q son capos felicitaciones a esa gente q se pone todas las pilas para perfeccionar su oficio

I've never changed Super singles but it does take experience. Great job 😃😃😃 Thanks
Dude's got it down! He's good!
Lol 10 million views. You deserve every one of them. Nice job.
My man, you know how to handle tires! I busted standards for a few months. Built some character in me!

for your 5 years of working, because after that you are disabled and your body is destroyed
slave labor.... rather work a comp and make $100k +
Not. $12.00 an hour. Speaking from experience. Wasted life.

It's crazy how fast these tire guys can work when they're being recorded on video. Every time I've had a truck worked on they're working extremely slow I just dont understand.
I hope in the two years that passed you learned that it's unreasonable and stupid to think someone can work at that pace all day

Muy fuerte el amigo demostración de profecionalismo

I currently work at a family owned truck stop, and I do this stuff on a daily basis, matter fact, I had to do a total of 10, 2 steer, 8 rear, in less than 2 hours, granted 2 others were with me
One thing I never want to do again is mount truck tires, especially split rims
Pretty dang impressive 👌
Good job. I like them better then the smaller tires easier.

Me canse nada más de verlo.
This is an impressive demonstration but how could you ever balance the tires without taking those wheels off and putting them on a machine?
That man is on his way to a bad back. This is my job. I stopped doing the tyres that way so I could keep my job.
A true pro! But I would have pegged him as more of a Metallica guy!
This brother works very hard
There's a guy you don't want to fuck with at the bar.

Seriously impressive. I'd love that dude to be on my team any day.
That was to steal a phrase from a popular sandwich chain, "Freaky Fast". Now question. Can he do that all day at that speed?
