Hell yea!! I always dismounted and mounted outside tires that way. No arguing with rusted, inner and outer bud nuts or seized piloted wheels. Note!!! Unless they have been curbed/ bent.

this is an excellent demonstration of force = mass x velocity, and how leverage is a force multiplier.. shame they did not show this man's twin, who held the truck up during the demonstration.
the above dose of satire, came a thumbs up and huge respect for changing truck tires like this.

People who have never done truck tires before: WOW THIS GUY IS A MACHINE! SO IMPRESSIVE!
Anyone who has done truck tires before: This video literally only shows the easiest part. The old tires had already been taken off, unless they were blown out, the rims had to be taken off first, so then what, did they put the rims back on after that? If so, why? It would've been even easier to mount the tires to the rims while off the truck, although mounting a tire to a rim that's already on a truck isn't all that difficult either.

I hated the super singles on my rig. First trip out was a load of beer headed to Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the winter. After unloading I had to have a pickup truck get me back to the interstate so I could get back south, away from the snow. Idiot engineers didn't think about that shit did they. And when these tired blow out at 70 mph, there is nothing left, they shatter apart. Rubber chunks fly all directions.
Happily Retired After 4.5 million miles logged in 21 years. No accidents, 3 speeding tickets. 3 seatbelt tickets, 2 logbook tickets.
I no longer worry about carrying a driver's license. I no longer ask for anyone's permission to travel. I AM FREE...
