Great for Pre-Reavers on Ironmen for what it's source is. Similar to how the Moonstone Amulet is great for Pre-Hydrix Necklaces/Pre-EoF
I do hope it gets an enchantment to really help it though.

its the ring version for necro as the stalker, channlers and warriors for the other 3 styles

How long does it take with rituals? Is it based off # of rituals, so speed glyphs would be good, or amt of xp gained, or what?
It's based on number of rituals completed
It's guaranteed at 100, but most people get it before that. Speed glyphs and low level rituals are advised.

I hope ypu're joking 😂. RoD adrenaline passive makes it better for AoE clearing. Unless you meant other places where reaver is better
If you already have an imbued RoD, this doesn't top it in most places. Reaver/RoD is still much better.

what’s that necromancy interface? Is that in game settings or something with alt 1?
If you're talking about the panel beneath the boss bar at the bottom at 1:55 , that's an alt1 addon

How many rituals does it take to upgrade the ring?
People on reddit were getting it in fewer than 5 rituals while I did 30 last night and still have the base ring

It’s RNG but has BLM on it. I took 25, I know someone who it took 75, someone who got it 1, and someone who got it in 32.

after a could years of skilling / paying for membership / questing and dying/ youll be able to do this quest and get this ring to attempt to do the bossing you havent started yet.
Can volley get you a stack? I didnt see it mentioned in the video. 5 stack volleys?
You can't, at least if you're fully stacked
If you're fully stacked, it can't
But it's possibly a bug or oversight. If you volley on 5 stacks the game thinks you aren't eligible to gain more stacks, so it never activates.

Meh, I’d argue the passive adren gain is better than a residual soul.
I would personally only use this ring in situations where my hit chance is below 100%. Outside of that it sits in my bank looking ugly
It's definitely personal preference and it will depend on the HP of the Mob you are training on.
Higher HP: Zorgoths > ROD
Lower HP: RoD > Zorgoths
IMO, it's a great start, but it needs to be buffed, or have a better upgrade.
Considering this is +30 similar to other BIS rings, why would they make it worst than the reaver hybrid ring when this is necros main ring? They NEED to upgrade it further to best reavers.

@@Meloncholiac yep this makes no sense to me. Why would u give a +30 ring from a quest for free? However, it aligns with the other BIS rings as +30 and passive on it... so clearly they were aiming for something?
I imagine it'll be like the puzzle box or Pontiefex ring. We'll get further upgrades to it as the game progresses.
@@chiponbloc Maybe, just maybe, they were trying to make it usable with the +30 but not BiS. It's almost like they had to "balance" something, so it doesn't destroy the demand for other rings.

@@Meloncholiac expecting a +30 ring from ANY quest is what is funny fool. The only reason this ring isnt BIS is because its missing an enchantment effect to boost it over reavers for DPS. Look at other quests rewards +21 ring? OK NP. Only as of late have they been release +44 moonstone amulet free after a 5 minute quest.. Ok? That is what is a joke. What is necro the freebie cmb style?

Correct!
New Matriarch should drop a enchanted bone that when combined with the new ring and a reavers ring, it gives both items effects all while adding some new bonus or like up the percentage chance on the passive. You want the ring to be strong, just not too OP. Necromancy is already easy to play well, so its hard to not just make too OP.

not EXACTLY a 0 cost ring, as you have to perform rituals to upgrade it to the better version you compared to reaver's. It would have been cool to see you break out the calculator to evaluate what the cheapest ritual cost x100 if your rng is bad.
Personally, I spent about 2m in supplies (only used maybe 500k worth) to perform the ecto ritual. I got lucky, only took me about 31-34 rituals, but definitely NOT a free "0gp cost" ring.
Definitely low cost though :)

Rituals are profitable to complete, so it's arguably a negative cost (profitable) ring if you want to look at it that way.
If u did low tier rituals necroplasm u can buy supplies for GP almost less than 5k….u did it wrong l, so it is free basically
