Revs has seen a massive number of bots level from 50-90 recently. All unskulled with craws out of nowhere.
Most accounts at undead pirates are bots. Dropping loot makes them all run which is sad just after a new update.

Rev caves are rly interesting...lower levels are like 95% bots. And you can tell they have like two or three different scripts out there. Some will run away if you flash a dds. Others will leave when you attack their rev. All insta pray mage when a player is on screen, and one set of bots perma prays mage all the time. They know that they can tank a half tb so there's actually nothing you can do to them.
The fact that the caves are full of bots and I can't autoclick high alch is insane
@@CitriReg I kill them pretty easily. Main hand crossbow in mage gear so they pray range. Then just manual cast fire surge for 2-3 free hits off pray. They switch to pray mage and you get 1-2 free crossbow hits off pray. After 5 hits you re-entangle. Bring 4 phoenix necklaces so while you're killing them you never have to waste time eating or mess up your 5 hit count between entangles. I've made ~$500M from ~1100 kills. I've been doing it this way on-off for years. It's not my favorite way to play the game because objectively I'm making dirty money and my only interaction is with bots, but whenever I need to make a quick 15M I just spend a couple hours at the caves.

Method of killing 'megatron' rev cave bots- Mainhand crossbow in mage gear so they pray range. Manual cast fire surge for 2-3 free hits off prayer. They'll switch to pray mage and you can get 1-2 free range hits off prayer. After 5 hits you re-entangle. Bring 4 phoenix necks so you never have to waste time eating or mess up your 5 hit count between entangles. That can also be make or break on a kill with a half TB. This gets around ~70% success rate. Noticably less successful on lvl ~85-90 bots with 70-75 mage. Pretty much 100% success rate on lvl 70-80 bots with 40-50 mage. For reference, my stats are 96 mage 99 range and I use dragon crossbow with opal dragon bolts(because mage pray blocks dragon bolts e proc) and tome of fire for 36 max with fire surge and 50+s with opal bolts.
only issue is gear usually, theyre confident enough to run out in max with the terminator scripts. Rarely does an experienced pker lose to these things in even gear
@@IQuickscopeCA I was talking about the rev killing bots themselves, not the pking bots. I've noticed a huge influx in pking bots in the past few days though. There's a 50 def farm in swampbark and 1 def pures in God robes and toxic staff. They perfectly DD and flick smite amongst protection prayers. They tele whenever their TB on me gets down to 5-15 seconds and they realize they're not going to get the kill. I started bringing Antivenom and haven't died to any so they're really just a nuisance more than anything as I haven't managed to anti-pk any yet. Got pretty close on two of them but g maul noodled and they teled.

It is, without them jagex doesn't get paid. They unironically keep the game alive while ruining real player experience. Ban all bots game goes bankrupt. Keep bots and we are, where we are right now

Ive seen like 10 accounts like that, (black dhide + Magic sbow) hopping on f2p server on the GE and then trading 1 by 1 to a lvl 126 fire/Inferno cape account, it's like this every 20 to 30 minutes at least

I've been doing undead pirates since release. It started one or two bots and maybe one pker an hour. Now it's packed with bots, and tons of pkers. Made like 60m with maybe 4 hours a day, but still. It's out of control

It's probably worth mentioning when killing the rune chain bots at rogue's castle, if you auto cast ice barrage, you can perma freeze them outside the door to the stairs. The animation takes so long to re-open the door that if you keep it shut while their frozen, by the time they open it again, they're refrozen back at the same spot.

I did notice a few less bots in the rev caves with some of them at Pirates now. Good for us normal players, and teams can take them out, better for some of them to now be at Pirates I say.
Bots are thieving master farmers just south east from the dark wizard circle. They log out pretty quickly when a player shows up
That's the same bot farm as the rogue chests, they're just training on master farmers before they can steal from the rogue chests
I just finished listening to Ascendant actually, but I think it's quite the stretch to call the magic system Sanderson esq, especially in the first book. Does a good job of actually giving a reason for the unity with humanity/dragons unlike many other Dragonrider series, where the dragons are essentially just tolerating humans for some reason that vaguely makes sense.
Hard rules etc. is more the Sanderson thing. The magic is much closer to Cradle by Will Wight, really. Thanks for listening to the first one. Hope you continue - much is expanded and taken in new directions as the series goes on!

Cheat clients have those but Jagex said they aren't allowed so Runelite doesn't have one.
The bots I remember could be lured to their death from the flag field in Camelot. My goodness times have changed can't believe how intricate bots have become.

I was actually on a hard clue scroll out in that castle part of the wilderness. (no armor ofc cause im not pvping) i seen someone out there he spawned in and started killing the guys that were going thru the chests. pretty dope tho. didn't even bother with me after he pked the guy he just left.
I was luring them north with the same method at the start and then barraging them all on 2 accounts and chinning them on 3 accounts in one big clump. It worked fairly well
At 8:00 you can see a timer on how long that barrage is active. Is that a Runelite plugin? And what is it called?

The guy isn't AHKing he's just straight up using a cheat client which is basically botting for himself since it's automatically casting spells and whatnot

For the pirate bots you could try drag scim specing and guve em all you got within those 10 seconds

It's crazy that the bot problem is so prevalent and well-known that it even features in money making grind series.
Was doing a slayer task and every world has at least 1 rune dragon bot in it, all with max combat with low level skilling stats. Wearing full justiciar and a dragon hunter lance.

I'm doing wildy agility on my def pure for gp and i noticed some upstart bots that were failing to do the course and loot.. if i see them more constantly ill send an email tip off.. its pretty good gp/h like 3-4m once at 61+ laps

It's an illegal feature of the cheat client he's using. Same reason he was able to cast spells without having to open the spellbook
I wish WoW let you combat bots like this; most of them stay in player locked instances where they can exploit and kill the dungeon in 6 minutes with no interference, sell everything safely in the city and repeat to infinity. It ruins the economy and there's nothing players can do really, besides finding their own exploit to catch up with the inflation
Those bots were very much smitable for their craws bows, i sometimes even got the smite ~5 secs. Got about 60 craws bows off em.

Sand Cabs by the wc guild have been infested with bots the past few days. out of nowhere. I afk here while I work and the past 2 days there's been 3 bots in most worlds. Some magic training, some strength.

If an account is being given massive amounts of wealth from other accounts, is that not flagged for review?
If an account gives out the same thing to dozens/hundreds of accounts, should that not flag for review?
I'm not a fan of ai, but it has decent pattern recognition and could easily be trained to catch the most blatant ones since they don't want to put man hours into catching them.
The problem lies in people actually trade /lend gear and wealth to other accounts if they flagged and banned accounts that transfer game would die much faster

It's too many to manually review I'm sure. Pretty sure they have some systems in place for this but yeah people will regularly toss their friends billions of gold.
range gear and weaponry as defence setup is way too overpowered for the fact combat triangle exists, and how range stacks against other styles. Melee requires attack level to be high, and high attack highly affects anything at all, since all higher attack level does is it will roll less "zero" rolls.
Sir pugger is the only one not smiting when purespam says smite.

I love your videos and have been a fan of Kemp’s for ages, but I’ve noticed both of you pretty much never seem to guest star on any other osrs youtubers’ channels, even though they guest star together all the time. Which makes me sad, cause I think you guys make great content and absolutely deserve the prestige and fun and exposure that comes with making videos with other UA-camrs. It’s crazy to me that jagex can’t handle this situation when they absolutely have the ability to detect clients. I tested over 10 accounts. Got them all temp banned suicide botting using a normal bot client. Any of these accounts that used a client after the temp ban was permanently banned within a couple days even just from 2-3 hours of nmz (low risk). Any account that started suiciding after the temp ban using a colour bot is still running to this day. All of these bots use a client, jagex can absolutely 100% wipe these accs at a vastly greater number but choose not too. Facts
I second that. I've done similar tests like you have and came to the same conclusion. I believe there is some kind of sweet spot to balance bans in order to generate maximum revenue.
