I love my GD-350 because: - It is powered by a standard CD2032 battery that you can mostly in a grocery store and all screws to replace it are standard cros screws, the battery life CON from the video is only because the vibration motor eats a lot of power if you use it, but I got 2 years run time from a single battery. - Vibration alarm is a god send to be notified without bothering other people (small kids in my case), - Light is powerfull enough that I use it at night as light source (searching for baby pacifiers in kids room), of course nothing close to a real light source, just gives you a small light aura that helps me enough at night. - Single button countdown timer is great for excercises - Got mine modded to a NATO nylon strap for better skin ventilation
The classic G-100 should be in this top 5. There is a reason it's still being made and sold 20 years on from initial release. It's going to outlast all of the more modern releases with extra complications that eventually fail.
I have XL series and I've been with him for a long time, can withstand with bb's during our airsoft match until i learn i have to wear my watch under my wrist in order to prevent from scratch during the match and to check the time while in action and still, not a single scratch spotted even it got hit countless of times.
I am looking for a g shock and would appreciate a few suggestions from you. I have smaller wrists and do not want a big watch. Battery life as well as being water resistant are the only requirements that I have, other than I would like to keep it in the hundred dollar range. Appreciate your time and a few suggestions
A device to detect the properties of your surroundings, actions, etc, like temperature, air pressure, step counter, compass, etc. Some GShocks comes with these sensors to help adventurers to figure out how high up the mountains they are, their body and surrounding temperatures, and some even have GPS to track where they are.
