I rarely leave comments but I felt like I had to. Very good job sir. I love the way you clearly explained all the steps. I read some of the other comments and just cannot understand the negativity towards a product like this. It is clearly that they are inexperienced. This board is incredibly a powerhouse. I will be using it in the next few weeks in a live setting, that's why I watched this video to get some knowledge of it. Having these extra effects and so many tracks available to route them through is a big plus for me. Full control of effects is what I like and to be able to cancel out some frequencies as well. Great job YAMAHA and a very nice presentation sir. I'll look forward to more of your videos. Thank you so much.
Why do yamaha touchscreens are very slow in response right from the tf series too? Is this intentional? We don't see this in dlive Allen and heathe and digico..
@@cpt.kimintuitiondemon yes, I contacted Yamaha about this. The solution is to use the Monitor bus instead of the cue bus. In the monitor section you can press monitor source define, and route your cue bus and any matrix or mix to the monitor bus. I do this for my Talkback mics. I’ll route all my talkback mics to a mix, and then send that mix to the monitor bus. My cue bus is also being sent to the monitor bus. This achieves a similar result to the CL feature of using matrix 7/8 as cue B.
Do you need to make returns for the FX to route them to Stereo? That would mean i waste 8 channels for verbs and delays with my current setup. And that would mean i could not use the very nice split function. I hope that is not the case… And really stereo link channels? Why not one Fader for a stereo source? It‘s 2023 - my Behringer Wing can do that. Really was considering this console but somehow it feels like Yamaha thinks even people only ever had the 01V should feel at home…
I believe you put it in Vari instead of Fixed , and on the channel sends page you can set individual buses as pre or post Just from what I understood from this video
This would be perfect for live streaming. But unfortunaly it's missing the dugan and de-esser. So no good for streams or Corporate. garage Bands already have the tf1. So who needs this?

Sir, great demo product, very instructive on the possibilities this product offers. All the best.
Very nice Digital Console. If I had the money, I would buy it.

And… you… should… HEAR… your… microphone… IN… your… headphones 😂
On the CL you could use CUE B and send comms to that matrix . How do you do this on the dm7 ?
hi
Is there a way to change the pre/post fader for all channels at once??
Mantap 👍👍
12:05 probably "while omni outputs" is the correct one
Is it possible to route the cue bus to a matrix? Similar to how the CL you can route your cue B to matrix 7/8?
Did you find a way or alternative solution without phsyically going out and back in ?

"omni inputs 1-14 come from the mix busses"....i think you mean omni outputs.🙃
How do I setup the bus so that default is pre instead of post?

how can i set all channel in a mix all pre with one button?
i was just going nuts at a soundcheck cause i was looking for that button, used to be easier!
@@milmar_echoes I found it. You have to press on the mix on the display. Then there is a new window popping up.
i found it sel channel, push mux overview, then select little box on the left e.g. MX 1
😅

Dm7 has 64ch of Dugan. You might be confusing it with the dm3 which is in a very different category of product both price and functionality-wise.
This unit entry level cost $15 grand and your not going to provide any scene? Yeah that's stupid! But The fx section is dop[e 11-3-23
