Hey. I am working with the QL1 on a live show. I have problem using the recorder. On the first recording test I made, everything worked perfectly, but not anymore. When it is recording, the time code does not follow, it stays at 00:00. When I finish recording, there is no audio file on my usb stick. I tried reformating my stick, either with my computer and with the console, being sure it was in the proper format, but even then it won't work correctly. I also checked I had the main L and R selected. What should I be looking at to solve the problem? Thanks.
Zarin Goodson If a switch isn’t used and I’m just using one rack (simple rehearsal for example) can i connect the console primary to the primary on the rio rack and the console secondary to the laptop?
This has probably already been answered but in case it hasn’t. System would need to be in daisy chain and not redundant. Then you could use the secondary port for your laptop or other device. Obviously if something breaks in the chain then you will lose devices. That’s why it’s best to have a switch that everything goes into.
Find three people on the planet that can hear the difference and I can justify the added storage and HP on the processor, Find them not, and you get 192 and like it.
I’m not the most intelligent person but before buying a Porsche you know I’m looking at this you telling me this thing can only record two tracks as opposed to cheaper multitrack recorder is because if that’s the case I just got scared

did you click play after hitting the record function? i made this mistake in the past as well
For me it works when i click rec, then click play.
Play icon now turns green and the recording starts to roll.

How is the laptop connected? Primary and secondary Dante pots are already being connected to rio racks no? Where is my laptop in all of this?????????
Usually you have a gigabit switch connected to the primary that has the rio racks and you can use the secondary for your laptop

192 is too low of a but rate. 320 is a must..
