1:46 A Catholic Bible

4:15 A St Benedict Medal
5:36 Catholic Books
8:18 The Relevant Radio App
I just drove out to the St Benedict Center in Still River(Harvard) Massachusetts this past December to visit their place and they have a gift shop where they sell all kinds of metals and crosses and missals and all things religious especially for Saint Benedict and I got myself a nice Saint Benedict medal and a Saint Benedict cross and I got it blessed before I left.
The sisters and Brothers there a called The Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and boy oh boy was it a pleasure meeting the Sisters and the Brothers at the St. Benedict's Center.
They have a Latin Mass every day at a Chapel that the Brothers built themselves back in 1973 and during the Mass when the Sisters were singing they literally sounded like angels from heaven.
I´m from Mexico and I´m so very happy that I found your channel because I thought all american was pretestant but your videos are so beautiful and clares and you always try to explain the true to the others and this is a beautiful reason for make videos , I love you channel so much and I whish you the most bigest love of the world.
Plenty Catholics in America, God bless you and Mexico, remember that the Cristeros got a lot of financial assistance from the American Knights of Columbus.
What is your plan of Salvation?
Your taste buds are just fine.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yes! I attended RCIA thanks to Patrick Madrid!! Catholic since 2018.
I returned to faith in Christ a couple years ago, after study became convinced of Catholicism a year ago, then 'rona made recieving communion basically impossible. A couple months back I found an FSSP TLM, and word more or less got around from a few questions regarding exact genuflecting ettique I posed, that I was a revert who had been away from the church for 20 years, and was finding my way home at 27. A lady walked up to me, and gave me a blessed rosary, saying "this is your welcome home present." Thanks for the tip on the medal, I'll look into procuring one and having it blessed in the manner you described.
1 Corinthians 10:14 KJV - Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
this is catholicism, not Christianity, friend.
Imitation of Christ has been transformative in upgrading my daily prayer life!!!
Re Rosary comment: I have one in my most used rooms where I have more private time; my bedroom, kitchen, and car. Plus I always have a wrist or small one in my purse. I carry a Bible in every car and in my bedroom.
I wear a brown scapular with a miraculous medal attached. Also have my Paracord rosary in my pocket and a St Benedict ring on my finger. 😎
Happy feast of the annunciation, I would highly recommend “true devotion to Mary” by St. Louis de Montfort
1 Timothy 2:5 KJV - For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
@@christopherdudley1585 I doubt your Catholic. Do you know the difference between Adoration and devotion.
You lecture others on how to pray and at the same time find it strange that Catholics ask The Mother of God to pray to Her Son, for us.
My recommendation to you is read Tim Staples he was a Protestant who studied to prove that Catholics were mistaken and converted to the Catholic faith, that is if you are looking for the truth. He wrote “Behold your Mother, a biblical answer to questions on The Mother of God.
Hey girl! Just found your channel! Love what you’re doing! Keep the videos coming. I’m also a Catholic UA-camr around your age. We need as much catholic content out there as possible. So keep it up! Also, love your personality!
Dude your YT channel is awesome! We should totally collab sometime
Where does the word 'Catholic' appear in the King James Bible?
@@christopherdudley1585 Neither are the protestant churches. What is your point?
That the Catholic Church is a lie? Despite the miracles, visions, and conversion stories.
“A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit; neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” (Matt. 7:15-20.)
"There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate The Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be." ~ Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
where in the real Bible does it say the word Catholic has to appear in a heretic text KJ "bible"?
BTW please stop calling that heretical text King James "bible" which servants of Satan created by bastardising the real Bible (created by the Catholic church), editing out books and purposely mistranslating sentences to mislead readers away from the original authors intended meaning and instead to agree with the heretics idiotic 'theology'/ teachings of prideful men instead of Christ's teaching.
@@TheReligiousHippie were you aware that the catholic 'church' actually hates our Loving Creator and promotes sin?
most who don't study Scripture thoroughly don't know these things - sadly.
I am not Catholic but I am very Christian and I love your channel 🤍✝️
Hai dear , found ur channel now ..Felt so happy and motivated to grow in my catholic faith. God bless you and continue this mission work..Love from kerala,India
This is awesome! Thanks!!

Sacred heart painting ❤️

For me I love reading the Bible , praying the rosary every day and wearing my miraculous medal
Isaiah 30:22 KJV - Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
I love to drink strong Irish breakfast tea with some whole milk. The old fashioned way, 😊
Love it
God bless you.I have that medallion as part of my rosary between decades.always wearing it.peoples reactions are ..inspiring.Praise the Lord,Maranatha!
Baptist here! I love your channel and love your devotion to Christ. I'm not one of those Catholic hating Baptists. I think it's a beautiful expression of faith. Keep being you and God bless!
Have u ever taken time to understand Catholicism???
Just curious??
@@crossbearer6453 I humbly beg you not to do that... I understand the wish to bring our protestant brothers and sisters back into the fullness of the faith, but if we insult their intelligence by calously suggestung they never pondered the legitimacy of the Holy Catholic Church, it only pushes them further away. Let them come to us whenever they are willing to have a respectful convo and, in the meanwhile, pray and fast for their conversion. Also learn from them in things where they are usually better, like knowing their Bible verses... Cheers! :)
@@nmpltleopardi I’m not insulting their intelligence by asking a question
And what you are asking is to coddle them
The original commenter says he/she doesn’t hate Catholics so I was asking if he/she understands Catholicism or simply thinks all faiths are legitimate
It’s a harmless question
As for the other, there are a lot of Protestants that don’t know much or misinterpret much about Catholicism
And here is the thing I’ve realised about a lot of “ friendly Protestants “
They are much like friendly atheist, they are around you so they can befriend you and then make you change your faith to theirs
I saw this on a Protestant channel
It made a lot of videos praising Catholics then before long his true motive was revealed
@@nmpltleopardi this is no conspiracy
Some will be friendly and you would think they respect you but behind your back they think you are not saved and want to save you
Like friendly atheist that think in their mind that you are delusional
Not all atheists and Protestants do this of course
And it’s actually a strategy found in the Bible to help convert people
I’m simply a skeptic
And personally I’m still a Protestant pondering Catholicism by the way
@@crossbearer6453 I apologize for the condescending tone of my 1st reply. I still maintain that we have to be a little more careful when it comes to bringing up the fullness of the faith, but you got a point too in that your OG query was tame if a little negligent. However in your reply to me, you kind of confirmed my point by collectively throwing all protestants under the bus for something you should respect, as you were also guilty of it. You were being friendly in order to bring our protestant brother into our faith. And there is nothing wrong with that. I don't think one should pamper their religion but you have to have tact and tread carefully because a lot of them are open to the idea of conversion but are still looking for excuses to stay in their camp. And one excuse they will hold on to is the perception of the hearts of catholics. That's why offering them rosaries is so important. I respect your position tho and mean no harm :) EDIT: Of course I believe any attack against ou Lord's Catholic Apostolic Church should not be tolerated by us and vigorously and unceremoniously repelled
It's always great to know a proud Catholic kudos!
OR MORE!! I have three; quite inadequate! My newest one is my favorite. I had it custom made by the Sisters of Carmel; semi precious stone and Sterling silver ornaments and crucifix. It has been blessed. Now, I need MORE. This one was rather pricey. So yay! NEED MORE. LOL.⛪🙏⛪🙏⛪
Great video. Your joyful enthusiasm is a blessing.
I must point out, I think you said your bible is the "English Standard Version." The ESV is a popular Protestant translation and perhaps not the best choice for a Catholic. It would also lack the seven deuterocanonical books removed by Protestants after the reformation.
I believe that notetaking Bible you hold, published by Our Sunday Visitor, is the New American Bible Revised Edition, or NABRE, which is the most current Catholic Bible translation, sponsored by the USCCB.
Peace!
There are ESV Catholic Editions made now. The ESV is a revision of the RSV. It’s an extremely accurate and beautiful Bible to read.
Thank youand God bless you!
You are so professional and funny.. appreciate your efforts💙
James 1:22 KJV - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
@@christopherdudley1585we are. Do you disregard some of the word though?
I recommend the Liturgy of the Hours and Lectio Divina
I would add anything written by G K Chesterton to that list, as well as the sermons of Meister Eckhart, a 13th and 14th century Dominican friar and mystic
Miraculous Medal, Bible, Rosary, Marian prayer book , adoration booklet.st. Benedict Medal
I am also brewing exactly the same mix of stuff (for tea) right now!... Just before watching your video 😆😇👍 nice video, part two is great ✝️❤️thanks and keep it up! God bless you, such a wonderful gift to be catholic 💕💖
Thank you for what you do. We need more people like you. I’m thinking of drinking more tea😁
Thanks for the video! I got 3/5, just need my medal and listen to that cool radio!
Love it!
I would add only one thing to your list, and clearly from the looks of your room you already have this item: a crucifix! No good Catholic should be without one in every room in the house, and even as a medal worn around the neck. And Earl Grey tea is my favorite. God bless!
I'm thinking about converting right now. What does it mean to get something blessed? I have a bracelet with saint Augustine on it that someone gave me but what does getting it blessed do?
Absolutely so the best way I've seen it explained is like this, "A blessed object becomes sacred, and no longer being something dedicated to worldly matters, it is consecrated to the worship of God". Hope that helps!
Kissing blessed objects (such as a crucifix, rosary, or brown scapular) can sometimes gain you an indulgence. It was once seen as a type of prayer. Kissing blessed objects can bring the heart closer to God.
You really have to have thick skin. The world Hates the church. Don't let that get in your way. Join Christ's true church. You will NOT regret it. PAX.
1 John 5:21 KJV - Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
Love your show ! Thanks 🙏🥰🙏
Fantastic that you name Imitation of Christ as a must. It is, indeed, what a wonderful book! A sure path to Heaven. Can I recommend you "Imitation of Mary" if you haven't read it yet. You'll absolutely love it, specially if you are a Marian person which I think you are. God bless!
I'll have to read it thank you!
Thanks! I own 4 of the 5 lol. Going to check out the app. You may have it, but the book of the Diary of St. Faustina is amazing!!
Norcia, in Italian it is so, I think in English it sounds "Nursia" but perhaps it is more correct "Nursee".... It's strange to hear the Italian names pronounced in English, a bit funny ... because it's completely another thing... Your pronunciation of Scholastic instead is excellent ... The apps are a great idea, there are not many in Italian of Catholics, I then follow the extraordinary Roman rite, with the Latin Mass and the calendar until 1962 so I find very few resources, almost nothing. Great video!
I would highly recommend Warren h Carroll history of Christendom series volume one to six. These are my favourite books on Catholic history.
As a Seton High School (Manassas, Virginia) graduate, I should probably read those! Seton School was founded by Dr. Warren Carroll's wife, Anne Carroll. She is still very much involved with the school despite turning 80 years old this month!
Just found out your youtube channel just now😊 just subscribe....from Philippines but working here in Hongkong at the moment. Can't go home to Philippines for Christmas to spend with my family bec.of covid 19😥
Your English is just perfect. Don't be hard on yourself, Amberola ( check that ).🇳🇿
Great I have them all. Thank you. God bless
Hi Amber Rose, I am studying Catholicism. I am not Catholic yet but currently Protestant Calvinist but not very happy with Protestant response to social justice stuff. I am basically traditional conservative type. I just got large print Great Adventure Bible RSV.. is this Bible good for it got colored division in the Bible plus I have Catechism of Catholic Church.
My 5 tops items
1. The Bible
2. The Rosary
3. The Brown Scapular
4. Pieta Prayer Book
5. IBreivery App
I would recommend wearing a miraculous medal as well. It attaches to a scapular very nicely as well.
Earl Grey is the bomb. Sometimes I drop a Sweet N Low in it.
Great Choices!
Earl Grey tea with milk is the BEST!🤍
Check out the Knox translation for the Bible. It is a Catholic translation. Trad and easier to read than Duoay
That is my absolute favorite Bible !
The only tea i drink is sweet tea.
Strong earl grey with whole milk-also look into PG tips tea-excellent
Hey, I have a little suggestion. Maybe try to do a video about games (video games, board games, card games etc.) that Catholics should stay away from.
I like this so I'm gonna subscribe!
Great recommendations.
Consider the Brown Scapular as the 6th item. Our Lady will spare from the fires of Hell all those who wear her scapular and say her devotion.
Earl Grey is the best tea Evah!
I love earl grey tea with Oatmilk! 😂
You forgot a very important book, a Daily Missal, either Traditional Latin, or Novis Ordo, (So that if a time of persecution, you could provide a priest with a Missal so he could offer Holy Mass if he doesn't have a missal, but there are bread and wine available for him.) as they are loaded with Scripture readings, and prayers... If I was limited to taking one book with me, it would be my "Daily Roman Missal," (Novis Ordo) as it has an index to the scripture readings in the back.. and a huge "Treasury of Prayers." If just having a small library of Catholic books, it would be a 1. Catholic Bible, both 2, and 3. Latin, and Novos Ordo Missals, 3. Catechism of Catholic Church, 4. "Blessed Be God" that is basically a traditional prayerbook, 5. My Tertiary's Companion OFS Franciscan.
I love you channel, I am a teen & I wish i could convert to catholicism but my mom doesnt agree :(
Edit: does anyone have any tips to get my mom to let me convert?
That's a tough question, especially these days. As with most things the best help you can find is often the saints. Do you have a favorite saint? Isabel is a variation of Elizabeth. A famous saint Elizabeth (besides the Blessed Virgin's cousin) is St. Elizabeth of Hungary - a princess who became a 3rd order Franciscan in 1228 and established a hospital for the sick after the death of her husband. She had made a vow to obey her confessor in all things, and he commanded her to send her children away, which had to have been crushing for her as she was a devoted mother. She would be a good saint to ask for help with your mother.
@@rtyria Thank you I will do more reaserch on her
@@isabelmartinez1164 It does seem so. Enjoy every moment. That joy will shine through and do much to convince your mother of your happiness - which is what most mothers wish for their children.
@1:54 1960s? not sure which date you intended, the modern day protestant bible (w only 66 books in OT) goes back to the early 19th century, though Luther translated both NT & OT by 1536, and KJV was codified in early 17th century.
Do you have a Douay-Rheims bible yet? If you don't I will send you one you would like.
Yesss Earl Grey tea is the best with milk
I love a London Fog!
Earl Grey and milk is my favorite v😂
Imitation of Christ is divine. The Mystical City of God by Venerable Mary of Agreda and Prophecies and visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich are two books that you ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY must have.
London fog are amazing
I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE SAINT BENEDICT MEDAL. WHY IS THE SAINT BENEDICT MEDAL HELPFUL?
It's a powerful weapon against demons and demonic activity. St Benedict is and was feared by the demons to the point where they would flee from the very sight of him. St Joseph is known as the terror of demons but St Benedict isn't that far behind him.
I thought the only Catholic English Standard Version was from the Augustine Institute. The one from your link takes me to a NABRE version instead of an ESV
The duey realms bibles the best one. It has all the books. And I want one. Can a Armenian apostolic Christian use the catholic bible?
Why is the Holy Water is not on the list?
Tea (any tea) + milk = ❤
I was told Earl Grey Tea with Milk is how it's meant to be drunk.
"[The Rosary] can change the course of history" *B A S E D*
The battle of Lepanto is the first to come to mind.
@@rtyria Absolutely!
My Top 5 list is:
1. Douay Rheims Bible
2. Catechism of the Catholic Church
3. Catholic Dictionary4
4. 'The Fathers know best' book by Jimmy Aikin
5. Chotki
Us Byzantine Catholics don't use the Rosary or a Missal
Do you bring your study Bible to Mass or do have a separate Bible?
Hi I’m trying to get my family to try the latan mass and I was wondering is there anything to know the first time we go and do the woman have to vail ?and is there anything big that we should expect difrent thx for any help u can give 😁
I love earl grey with milk, but I put a bit of raw honey to it too. Soooooooo yummy
doesn't look like a bad Bible but Ignatius Bible is better
Why can you only have “plant” milk
Hey Hippie you forgot to list my Catholic4rednecks channel! 💜💜💜
A good catholic book is How Christ Said the First mass or Lord's Supper
James Luke Meagher
Thoughts on scapular
There are many scapulars. The brown scapular is best known. It was given to St. Simon Stock by Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the 1200's. One side of the brown scapular shows Our Lady holding the child Jesus and giving the scapular to St. Simon. The other side has a quote: “Whosoever dies in this garment shall not suffer eternal fire.” Brown scapulars are supposed to be made of 100% wool. Most Carmelite websites have information on the scapular.
I'm not a big plant milk person, but isn't that a London fog latte?
It is!
Earliest Exorcist St B? Hmm, interesting. Tkss
Have you read The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri?
Its not my list :)
I am catholic but kindly pray for my family ,the main reason is that my wife is dominated by devil as like she loves someone. So please be with your every prayer-time..
My crucifix on my rosary contains a St Benedict’s medal. Does that count?
If you always have it on you then i'd say it counts
@@TheReligiousHippie Bet thanks!
I'm genuinely asking, where in the Bible does it say that items such as medals, necklaces, or any other item is powerful? I thought we are only supposed to rely on the Lord. Only the Lord and His word are sacred and poweful. Any tangible item is not what will protect us and we should only put our faith in the Lord. I haven't read the whole Bible yet, so I am curious to know where this comes from.
I am Catholic but I have never understood that part of it. There isn't one item that I believe will protect me.
I think the Catechism of the cpuncil of trent is a must read as a traditional Catholic
Black tea and chobabi oat milk
typo chobani yikes need glasses :)
going to mass daily is listening to bible also
Is a KJV a catholic bible?
no
Damn. Martin Luther being around during the same time as Martin Luther King is crazy…….lol just messing with you but you did say in 1960
Amber check your link for the Imitation of Christ book. It’s $700+ 🥴
They changed it, just google it tons pop up.
@@TheReligiousHippie yep… too many! I like the one you have. Is it a hard cover? And how many pages? 🤔
Oat milk/cacao and honey ♥ Note: NIV Bible is missing texts.Losing meaning.Think KJB is good..
KJB bible isnt Catholic
who is Fatima??is it Mother Mary??
Fatima is one of the locations where mother Mary’s apparition appeared. Therefore she is referred to as Our Lady of Fatima. There is also our lady of Guadalupe, Lourdes, and various others. Same apparition named after the location where she appeared.
earl grey is delicious and any other opinion is simply incorrect
Drinking cashew milk??? Unsubbed
I use a NKJV
The NKJV comes from The DR translation as with most modern translations are based on the corrupt Alexandrian manuscripts, the codex Vatican's.
Taste buds wet hair guessing game. Holding a gun to my head now. Womansplaining.
Give English Breakfast Tea a try 🫖😋
Thank you for being a young Catholic vlogger as people don’t know that they are after all searching for Christ in their lives....instead they go on crystal healing and wellness journeys to find peace. oiy! In case you haven’t seen other Catholic bloggers Catholic Mom and Catholic Wife, Whatlauralikes, of course DrTaylor Marshall, Sensus Filiedum
So true! So many people in this world are lost. The Catholic corner of youtube is always such a blessing ❤
Fr. Mike Schmitz!!!
@@TheCatholicLady so sad how many are catholic and don't even know Bible basics well enough to see how evil catholicism really is.
I’m vegetarian, not vegan, but I agree plant milk is best (especially oat)! My local catholic shop sold me a catechism book :) RCIA will be next month.
