Lost Classic ~ Glen Campbell Plays Acoustic Guitar on "Rhinestone Cowboy"

Enjoy this rare classic gem of an unplugged live performance of "Rhinestone Cowboy" by Glen Campbell, who shows us once again his unmatched ability to deliver a lyric with sincerity and warmth, humor and enjoyment. It's no surprise stars are literally shining on Glen and his ringing Ovation guitar. After ending his song with "rhinestone cowboy...AND cowgirl," Glen explains the addition of "AND cowgirl" to his hosts: "I'm politically correct." That's classic Glen Campbell, too; always the quick-witted southern gentleman.
Glen's appearance here is from a popular British weekday program, "This Morning," hosted by married couple Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan. Their show was so popular that loyal followers informally referred to it as "Richard and Judy." "This Morning" aired from 1988 to 2001; this segment with Glen dates to near the end of the show's run.
