  • I received the 200w Solar Power Generator and separate 50w solar panel from Flashfish to review. For being such a small device, this thing can charge a lot of devices at the same time! In this video I tried to max out the number of small devices I could possibly charge and it did it with no problem. The solar panel can charge the Flashfish 200w Solar Power Generator and and 2 more USB devices at the same time!
    You can find more about this Flashfish Solar Power Station and more on Facebook!

    Looks like a great power station to take to the beach, camping, etc. with a bunch of friends so they can all charge their electronics. I have friends who do a lot of RC FPV flying and they always lug around a heavy 12v battery. This would work great for them.

      Does not run much for very long though - I do have one and love it for running a fan either during the day or by my bed at night, but it is very small, not much power. You just have to know what suits your needs. I have other larger units, but I love this one for low wattage needs AND because it is so lightweight. It takes too long to charge with solar and needs a low watt panel, so I charge it from a larger 700W portable solar "generator", which is faster, plus the larger unit accepts higher watt solar panels and charges faster. Win win, good flexibility.

      @@OffGridBasement It's just perfect for him! He could charge his own toys using it. Even the solar panel is a great size for him. I enjoy your experiments. I'm using River units from Ecoflow around my house to power smaller items like my wifi and computer setup. My biggest struggle is being on a small, heavily treed lot, so I'm going to limb up some of them to try and get better coverage. It wasn't so bad in summer but now with the sun going lower in the sky, it's been a real challenge to get clear sun on my panels.

    How long does it take to fully charge with the outlet/ solar panel? Did you say flash fish sent you the solar panel, free or you had to purchase separately?

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  Рік тому

      To fully charge it would take about 5 hours on AC and with a 50w solar panel on a nice sunny day. Flash fish sent me the solar panel to review with the unit, but it is sold separately. I hope that answers your questions. Thanks for the comment.

    • @OffGridBasement

      Probably not. I'm guessing the pump has a run load of at least 3 amps at 120v. This little unit wouldn't have a chance. Thanks for the question. If you know the amperage and it's way less, let me know!

    Thank you for good review. Fee questions left after it and probably you alredy have an answer. What is real capacity of this battery? And what maw power it can provide? Also a question how long does it take to charge this battery with solar panel (or real avarage power of that panel)?

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  Рік тому

      The real capacity is 151wh. You would be able to power a 151W light for one hour. The AC output can do 200W. i would say in full sun you could charge this with the 50W solar panel in about 4 hours. The 50W panel probably only collects about 40W per hour. I hope this helps!

    You did not touch the most important thing - using AC devices and ACTUAL wattage of the devices that can be plugged into AC socket. People do not buy those to charge phones.

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  Рік тому

      You're correct. Most solar generators are for AC appliances, but this one is so small that there isn't much you can do with the ac side.
      I thought more about the amount of items that could be charged at the same time rather than what is the most energy hungry thing that could be powered. Another video might in order. Thanks for the comment!

      @@OffGridBasement This is quite important to me, since I'm in Ukraine and we have severe power outages because of Russian assaults. I'm wondering if I will be able to power the thermocontroller and control board of the natural gas boiler, which provides the hot water. It is said to be estimated 130 watts together with the pump that jacks the water through radiators. But I could temporarily turn off the radiator circuit when there will be a power outage. This way I at least will have hot water. Something more powerful and expensive probably will not pass the customs, since it will ride from China. Not to mention that I'm on the budget.

    • @tennishistoryandresultsdat4540
      @tennishistoryandresultsdat4540 Рік тому +1

      I got the device from China and it all played out the way I described. Primary Circuit (hot water) works from Flashfish just fine. But w/o pumps for heating (2ry Circuit) it just around 25 watts or so.
