DIY isn’t a good option in my opinion, even though it’s cheaper. Some alarm companies don’t do contracts, and these systems can be easily hacked, the ring alarm and simpisafe have been hacked before, and if you choose an alarm company instead of diy, your system is going to be installed by a professional who went through weeks of training.

@@hilo2-est3-elev I agree about wired sensors. They never need batteries. But these are equally secure. If you don’t sign a contract, you will pay a lot. There simply is nothing difficult about installing these systems if you are comfortable doing so.
