We have been having a lot of problems with it, every time we do any type of dry setting it moves uncontrollably, any advice for this?
@@azizpatel4907 That may be due to several factors including poorly adjusted feet (not level) or an excessive load. For example, if you have a lot of large bath towels that clump together, it can shake when it is spinning. On a regular load of clothes it should not be out of balance. This is a heavy unit that is normally very stable.

We've had ours for a few weeks now and we're completely disappointed. If you have dogs or long hair in the family, your unit will be a mess inside after every cycle. Clothes come out wrinkled and over-dried. We had a BOSCH ventless dryer previously and we totally regret trying out this new washer-dryer combo technology! Buyer beware!
I agree. I hate it
Same here! I want my GE Profile washer and dryer back so badly!
DIY isn’t a good option in my opinion, even though it’s cheaper. Some alarm companies don’t do contracts, and these systems can be easily hacked, the ring alarm and simpisafe have been hacked before, and if you choose an alarm company instead of diy, your system is going to be installed by a professional who went through weeks of training.
@@hilo2-est3-elev I agree about wired sensors. They never need batteries. But these are equally secure. If you don’t sign a contract, you will pay a lot. There simply is nothing difficult about installing these systems if you are comfortable doing so.
what nonsense. we're in a 1200 sqft tri-level. we have a smoke alarm in each level. no reason for interconnection. one goes off it will be heard in the entire house. the standard needs to be one smoke alarm per sq ft.
Yes, in a small house it seems redundant. But they have done studies that show that kids and teenagers can sleep through the alarms especially if the door is closed. The purpose of the alarm is to notify occupants as soon as possible to give everyone the best change of getting out of a structure. You may be a light sleeper, but the code addresses all possible occupants especially kids. That's why it is now required to have alarms in each sleeping room, and interconnected so that they all sound when one detects smoke. For people who cannot hear, there are special vibrating units that fix to the bed, and vibrate to alert them. A lot to consider.
Very helpful! Thank you!
what happened if the filter chamber is at the bottom of the Carrier Unit? No one seems to demonstrate this. Does the arrow point to the FLOOR or to the Carrier 80 UNIT? Thanks.
They have been using these in Europe for years, and there is a reason why they still hang their clothes to dry. The wash/dry cycle takes forever.
Surprisingly, this one does not suffer that problem. Not only does it dry quickly, but there is a condenser which draws more moisture out of the exhaust and drains it away. This is what makes it ventless, without adding humidity to the room. The water vapor is condensed and drained out. I was skeptical, but it works very well. And the trade off is great giving you more room and less attention is needed. It's also great if you have a short term rental or set your wash to run at night when time-of-use rates are lower. Set and forget, and your laundry is washed and dried when you wake up.
Good to know. The salesman at Home Depot says they are their top sellers.
@@Sdinspectionsfrom What I've seen, you need to open it after the cycle and wait for the steam to escape or your clothes will be wet

Thank you so much!! I have the same exact AC unit and I could not figure out how to open it!!! Thank you!!!
My realtor says one smoke/co2 with 10-year sealed btry is required on each floor. I said that I believe a smoke detector is required in each bedroom. She got testy with me and I backed off. But who's right, me or her?
Good question. I have 2 floors. 3 bedrooms upstairs. I put one in each bedroom. And he is saying one in each bedroom as well. And one with a carbon monoxide detector in the hallway.
Hire a home inspector then hand that inspection to a general contractor and ask what was missed.
CY be like
What article of NEC is smoke detector or fire alarm?
Does garage need a CO and/or CO2 smoke detector?
I've seen no detectors in the garage
‘’’Why aren't your video views increasing? And not reaching people? ‘’’ The reason is 1. Your video is not being SEO properly 2. Your video is not reaching the right people 3. Not using video hashtags properly 4. Not sharing the video on social media There are a few more reasons. That's why your videos are limited to your channel. Can't get out In a word, your video is awesome. such videos are in great demand. If you do these things correctly. Hopefully, you will get a lot of visitors. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. If I can help a wonderful person like you. Feel lucky. I will cooperate with you in all kinds. You were my first stop for a filter change video (for an old ‘Day and Night’ furnace) and it answered all my questions. Even after I had a problem getting the doors back on I went back and watched more closely. Mom is 90 and it’s cold here in CA right now! Thanks so much for the help!
What if arrow pointing downward is marked in furnace itself. What do I need to do? Should I believe in furnace filter arrow or arrow marked in furnace itself?
If the air flow in your furnace is marked with an arrow, your filter arrow should be pointing in the same direction.
In Illinois you have to have one by January 1st or face a $100 a day fine up to $1,500 and the fire department has to put it up I think it's $20 and then I have to fill out an application it looks like they just want to come in and search around but I do know I need one I don't like it I can put it up myself but they've already told me they have to come in.
That’s bull. You don’t have to let anyone in your home. Even though it’s not search and seizure, fourth amendment rules still apply. You people in Illinois have really voted yourselves into a pickle.
thanx a million man. really appreciate your video, and I learned from it, and saved time and money.
Reminder: if wearing a wrist watch then remove before sticking your hands in da tank. It doesn't hurt to wear a pair of disposable gloves too.
Excellent explanation 👍
Thanks very much! I just did it and it works great! No problems. Appreciate your helpful advice.😀
Every the ad says it is!
Are no alarms required in the kitchen?
No, they should not be placed in the kitchen. You would get false alarms due to steam, smoke, etc. The idea is that the alarm should be in areas where people sleep so as to wake them in the event of a fire. Presumably, you would not be asleep in the kitchen.
You can install a smoke detector in a kitchen, but it has to be at least 10 feet away from the stove or oven to prevent false alarms.
I'm getting a google nest, that can distinguish between smoke and steam.
@@larseriksson42why would you ever voluntarily give any type of control of your homes interior to Google or government or big tech? Don’t mention cell phones, because unfortunately they are an unfortunate necessity. The push for smart systems and the shift to all electric everything is quite obviously an easy way to implement societal control with the stroke of a key.
Muy buena explicación 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Trane furnace filter change
So that means you half to reword house for older homes to have a smoke alarm in each room
Not technically rewire the whole house. Just add them in
been looking for a video that shows the same style as mine. this is helpful.
Where is the Lock clip for height.😊
It's also a good idea to wipe out the opening where the flapper rests to make sure there is a good seal when the flapper closes. It sometimes becomes a bit slimy there.
*6 pack great value easy to install🆒>**imgs.love/ACFiltrete?W23 ** comes in a nice box for storage as most people wont need all 6 at once. would recommend to buy if you have an older system.*
if you don't have gas appliances , why would you need carbon monoxide detectors?
If you have a fireplace, gas appliances, and/or an attached garage, you need a CO detector. In the absence of any gas, wood, or oil furnace/appliances, and an attached garage, you do not need a CO detector.
Some people have a gas water heater, and gas is the primary heat source for the home.
Because people independently, could unwittingly bring a carbon monoxide producing device into a living area
Is it on or off?
What about wired or not, and battery back up requirements...what about the 10 year battery law
Hello, What kind is that stopper that you are using for the shower pan?
Do more video man nice
Thanks so much for the explanation for why my furnace is in the vertical configuration and for using this type for the demonstration. The inspection and cleaning tips were also very beneficial. This was the best video by far!
Thank you so much! I searched for videos showing me how to do this. This video was the best of all!
Thanks, man. I couldn’t figure out how to get the darn thing open! Lol 😆
Great instructions! Easy to understand. Thanks for posting this video.
Great tip! On Philippes recommendation I just had mine checked out and swept. They said my chimney was so bad that my chimney was a big risk for a chimney fire this winter. I noticed my fire now burns better due to a much better air flow. Thanks for the HOT tip!
