Sorry for the wind! I couldn't figure out how to edit it, but I want to show you the Sound of Music Hill at the Himalayan Institute, a very special place.
My husband Michael and I (also a Gottman-trained couples therapist) spent the weekend at this retreat center in the Poconos and felt instantly calm and relaxed. I went for a hike to see a waterfall while Michael went to a yoga class, and even though we were there to check out the venue for a couples retreat, it was exactly what we needed for our own relationship. We had been working too hard and desperately needed to unplug (even thought we didn't know that's what we needed!)
Anyway, it was a fun weekend and we decided to go ahead and host a couples retreat on April 5th, 2025.
