The Galapagos aren’t the ones with the heads on it, that’s Easter island which is part of chile, the Galapagos are the ones that Charles Darwin went to, which determined his theory of evolution
Just wanted to add… as someone whose family is from Paramaribo… the inflection is on “MAR”. You have the first part right-but instead of saying “mareebo” it should really be said “MAReebo”. Does that make sense?ParaMAReebo. Most of the online pronunciation videos and soundbites about this are comically wrong. I’m always so impressed with your knowledge of accents and pronunciation, I just had to fix that one. You had me in stitches last night when you struggled with “arboretum” in one of your other videos and called yourself out on it. I love that you speak 7000 languages and nail every word… except arboretum. ❤ Thank you for everything you do. My only complaint-if you can call it that-is that your videos aren’t four hours long. Can’t get enough.
No idea how many American subs you have but as one, maybe a video on New York State? Or maybe the different regions of the states, New England, midatlantic, sun belt, etc.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure Suriname is its own country. They were a Dutch colony and territory but they’ve been independent for a while I think
He didn’t say that Europe was connected to Africa, though. He said that Europe, Asia and Africa are all connected as one landmass. Europe is connected to Asia, and Asia is connected to Africa. This leads some to consider them one massive continent.
Your description of the population of the Falkland Islands is a bit... wrong. www.falklands.gov.fk/our-people The British Antarctic Survey uses the islands as a gateway to Antarctica but only has a small office with one or two people who work there. Some families have lived on the islands for many generations.
Can’t fall asleep without watchin one of your vids ! Love from the midwest 🥳
Yay! Thank you! I wasn't made aware of this until now, apologies if I seemed ungrateful. I am incredibly thankful - you are awesome!!

Seconded! Virginia and the Carolinas would be a great video!
South Carolina and north Carolina would be great 😃
Mountain towns in the Southeast/Blue Ridge Mountains would be really fun!
Day 1 of saying who cares
I think English is the official language of Guyana due to the history of Caribbean influence and British colonization.
Kannst du mal ein VIdeo Über Nigeria machen? Das wäre cool
Ease do romania and eastern europe, please 😢

Big fan but opening statements weren’t entirely accurate, Europe does not connect with Africa🤣
Yes, technically true, although Melilla and Ceuta are in Marrocco and owned by Spain, does that count? (Digging deeper...)
