I forgot to put it on the video, but Tsarevitch Alexei suffered from hemophilia. The more you know, I suppose!
I come from Kazakhstan and I love the fact that this book spread is dedicated to Russia and Kazakhstan 🇰🇿❤🇷🇺
It's nice to see these two countries together, as our histories are very closely related & our cultures share many similarities😊
I appreciate the time and effort it took to gather the information for this video. This is a rocky subject with everything going on but the world can't ignore a place that does exist and has millions of people living in. This country has always fascinated me and I had hope to visit there one day. Perhaps still. One of the most beautiful languages in my opinion.
This is wonderful, Russia is one of my fav countries to learn about. The history is turbulent, but the people carry themselves with pride and resilience. Russia also has such an amazing artistic culture - from Pushkin and Tolstoy in literature, to Tchaikovsky in music, Kandinsky paintings, and Tarkovsky films 😊
Yes, Russian bombs and unprovoked military aggression are the best 👌 oh and the proud and resilient Russian occupants also.
@@gvantsanadiradze7703 u mad?
@@gvantsanadiradze7703 I trust and respect Russia more than the USA & israel
@@topnotchthecreator its people from Georgia, whos ass was kicked in 2008 in South Osetia's conflict by Russian soliders
@@gvantsanadiradze7703 please do not cry ,and be more apolitical. This is not about government or something ,this is about culture and history. If u learn history of the world ,and history of strongest empires and countries ,u will understand that the conflicts used to be ,conflicts are now ,and they will be , while people are managing this world. And the meaning of “truth” is subjective. Each has their own truth ,you just chose the side.
Thank you for tackling Russia. I think it’s more relevant than ever before to understand this nation.
Agreed!
Loved this one! Such a fascinating country. Great job as always 😅
Thank you for your video! You know about Russia a lot if interesting facts 💕
Little note about Novgorod: in Russia people called new town "Novgorod" really often. So this is the reason why we have many towns and cities with similar names. Novgorod Veliky is in the river Volhov is one of the ancient Russian cities. And Nizhny Novgorod is known for the fact that during the Smuta (Time of Troubles in 1605-1613) the militia will come out from there, saving Moscow from the intervention of the Poles and Swedes.
A belated congrats on reaching 10k subscribers!! One of my favourite channels.
Lovely video as always! Thanks for your relaxing and educational content! I’ve learned so much since finding your channel, especially since I’ve always been bad at geography 🗺💙
I absolutely love these videos. The intro is adorable too
This is definitely my new favorite channel ❤

Well done! I also would love to be able to visit Russia someday. There's so much wilderness to explore!
Good for you for saying no to Russian ballet, but how cool is that?
It was a wild opportunity, especially at that age!
Been waiting for you to get to Russia! Fascinating place

Fun Fact: Russia get their first Slavic dynasty with Romanovs, before that they got ruled by Germanic Rurik and Turkic Godunov dynasties :)
This is not true. Rurik was Scandinavian. And there were no Russia when Rurik was around. Also, he ruled over region which didn't include Moscow. There was no Moscow at that time also, by the way. No Moscow. No Russia. Also, no Ukraine. There was Rus'. Rus' ≠ Russia.
thank you
love from kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬
Very informative. Thank you.
Fun fact the Soviet Union disbanded on 24th August 1991 and current president Vladimir Putin is an ex Soviet KGB officer.

I’ve started learning Russian lately and it is very hard to get used to but you’ll be surprised how similar some words are to English
The caspian sea is actually a lake and it is the largest lake in the world
Спасибо за видео!!
completely off topic but WHEN DID THEY CHANGE IT BACK TO ASTANA?
Like a few weeks ago!
@@ASMRGeographica great now i have to keep telling myself its Astana again
Why is Russia and Kazakhstan learnt together in a US text book? Seems bizarre
Personal factoid. My brother was alive during the existance of the soviet union but I wasnt.
So cool❤ I love your channel. From Russia 🇷🇺❤🇺🇸
Ukrainian here. Sure y'all know what I'm going to say 😁
In short, we're going to make Russia small again :)
Why is Kazakhstan just lumped in with Russia? Sop strange.
Probably because it didn't fit on the central Asian map.
🇷🇺❤🇺🇸
Thank you for this video. Your words about us, Russians, never having a break from authorities... Well, it hits hard. But we still here with our godforsaken, depressed history trying to live our lives. I love history too, btw. My favourite period in the history of Russia is the Novgorod republic. I think it was the best time: people could read and write, women had some rights (in the Middle Ages!). But then Moscow came and ruined everything, but we got used to it, really.
Поплачь либераха
Ты не Русский, поэтому мимо.
Опять вам Москва в штаны насрала. Что ж такое то.
Why didn't you tell about the industrialization of the USSR in the 1930s, after which the USSR became the second economy in the world (after the USA)? 🤔
It's not Russian history.
@@leopoldlodewijkfilipsmaria8064 What?....
@@Anonymous-qj3sf USSR was a different country than Russia. Majority of industrialization and general & high tech development happened in the satellite states, and/or by satellite state citizens, for example Ukraine. After USSR broke down, there wasn't anything special left in Russia, just basic primary sector stuff like mining etc.
@@leopoldlodewijkfilipsmaria8064 Firstly, this is a period in the history of Russia..... This is the communist period in the history of Russian civilization. The British Empire in the 20th century and Britain now are also 2 different countries .... Surprising? 😱
Secondly, do not write what you do not know. Everything was just the opposite. The largest part of the industry of the USSR was in the RSFSR (Russia). The RSFSR was the most "hard-working" republic, which produced much more than it consumed. On the 1st place in terms of production from all 15 republics. All the largest major enterprises were located in Russia.
And I also want to ask a question. Where are you from? xD Are you jealous that Russia has reached such a level, but your country is not? :)
@@Anonymous-qj3sf Yes, all which are basic industry, like I said before. My country is on a level which Russia will never reach, by every standard.
Slava Ukraini!
И тут вам свиньям надо свои 5 хривен вставить😂
