- Setting a competition always has a big part of risks and doubts. And setters have to deal with it and take the right decisions to present a good show.
This short documentary tries to highlights the position of the route setter during a Boulder World Cup.
We spent the full week with the setting team to try to understand what are their thoughts and to the creative process of route setting.

That crack climbing problem was one of the highlights of this season (for me at least). Such a pleasant surprise.

Really cool, we're finally getting a view in the world cup routesetting. I think everyone would really like to see a video of the lead world cup as well!
Last week I would have told you Midsommar had the best horror soundtrack I've heard all year, but this blows it out the water.
Really lyrical insight into IFSC routesetting! The routesetters don't get enough recogntion, they are the backstage stars! Would love to see more videos about how they prepare, the choices they make and the what they think of their work after the competitions. Some insight from Katja Vidmar, the only female IFSC routesetter, would be welcome.
Why does the music sound like a slasher thriller
I found the soundtrack to be more of a distraction than anything. I would have preferred something MUCH more subdued or even silence...especially when people are talking.
Getting to watch the process behind Manu's boulder was the exact behind the scenes footage I wanted from this season! Such a fantastic climb. Thank you for sharing this.

I just discovered these videos and they are so incredible! Mathieu amazing job! Some CC, I personally rather see shaky raw footage than over use of warped stabilization, but other than that I am so impressed by these videos!
