- With Brooks Koepka looking for a third straight U.S. Open title, Justin Rose looking for his second victory in the championship, and Gary Woodland looking to break through on the world stage, it was a Sunday battle for the ages at Pebble Beach.
The United States Golf Association (USGA) conducts many of golf's most prestigious championships, highlighted by the U.S. Open, the U.S. Women's Open and the world’s premier amateur championships. Based in Liberty Corner, N.J., the USGA governs the game in the U.S., its territories and Mexico.

Great look. Total control of his ball and his emotions.
What a putt on the 18th. Confidence and boldness ! Inspiring 👌
Woodland swing looks so smooth and effortless.
Yeah and he pounds it.
That's one cool, calm & collected dude right there
That 3 wood shot on the 14th still boggles my mind.

@USGA Please add a 2017 U.S. OPEN video like this! Love re-watching final round coverage.
Crazy good golf! How do these guys hit 5 irons 220 yards! I once hit a driver 400 yards, the cart path really helped.
Woodland hardly smiled at the end - man I'd be running into the surf, except there's great whites in those parts.
Couldn't have happened to a better guy
This is great coverage with excellent commentary, but the inane yelling of male 'supporters' pre and post-shot makes it very hard to persist past the first half an hour. Golf needs to look into ways it can capture the sound of the event but silence persistent attempts by some supporters to immortalise the sound of their voice in the coverage.
Show the 1984 US Open. Please.
Rose was struggling because it was at sea level. The air is thicker, the ball doesn't go as far and he didn't compensate for that. I play at sea level every second day where I live and I lose 7 to 15 yards per club as opposed to playing say anywhere inland. It's a fine line. When I play at 3000 feet above sea level, I gain 2 to 3 clubs of distance and I have to dial everything back.
This ain’t why
Trust me he factored that in.....or he wouldn't have been in the final group to begin with. Top level professionals don't miss things like that. It just wasn't his day........timing/feel just a little off is all it takes.
id like to ty deeply for posting this
