Mr.Pete have you thought about using quick release pins for the adjustment?? Just a threw pin with a cotter pin on the other end to hold it in place. It's a lot faster than nut and bolt
I did my final mow a few weeks ago. I was slow getting out to do my fall protene application after my overseed and didn’t get a chance to apply the winterizer before we got down to the low 20s and the growth slowed to a crawl. I really thought I’d get to use the winterizer since we had mild temps going into later November, but the bottom dropped temp wise very quickly and the grass has barely grown since. But it’s still nice and green.
Looks great Pete. If my lawn looked that good I would be absolutely thrilled. I find the two mowers I like is my 21" Honda self propelled mower with rear wheel drive and my 60" turf tracer. Even if the property is big I just jump on the turf tracers velky and enjoy the mow and the growl of the v twin one stripe at a time. For the medium to smaller properties the Honda is great even going up hills. It helps me up the hill with it effortlessly. If you have too big of a mower the enjoyment of mowing and being outside is taken away from you. Besides transporting it becomes a real pain. 60" is my max for a mower. Not interested in anything bigger. The only exception would be if I owned acres and acres then I would have a huge mower with air conditioning and a cab.
@@_TheChikoosorry Pete, but absolutely not. South Florida is one of hottest most humid climates in the country and bluegrass would definitely not survive down there
@@banksie1186 😂 you don’t think I know that? That’s why I said “test a small area first”. Come on dude do you think I’d actually tell someone to attempt to establish KBG in south Florida? 😂😂😂 TEST that way this person can learn the turf. Good grief lol
Hey Pete I know you're in a different level than I could ever have imagined being with it and you're probably way too busy but I had a problem with tire tracks in several yards some yards it just pushed up a little too much moisture and I had to go back behind it and spray the tire tracks out with a hose but I went to the hardware store and bought too inexpensive singer rakes cut them and mount them where they just drugged nicely behind me kind of remind me of covering your tracks in Boy Scouts it just kind of makes the grass all day out even I'm sure somebody is smarter than me has come up with a way of doing it kind of like a thatcher but much less aggressive you just kind of fingering the blades of grass just saying the yard does look awesome though keep you in my prayers on that new piece of property

Completely amazing, mother nature dropped 6 inches of snow last Thursday and bone cold temperatures followed. 😢😢😢 114 days until I start again..
Hi, can I put Kentucky Bluegrass in South Florida? St Augustine for me but want to try KBG in the back yard.
if you have a small area you can test it first I recommend that before you go all in
