This exhaust muffler is for our KTM 300XCW six days edition.
I want my dirt bike to have a USFS approved spark arrestor. The FMF Turbine Core 2.1 Silencer is just that. Also, drop a little weight and add some bling factor!! The FMF Turbine Core 2.1 is a 2 stroke silencer.
Specs:
USFS approved internal/non-removable spark arrestor
Spark arrestor eliminates exhaust gas restriction
"Turbine Dampening System" will not clog like screen type arrestors
Spark arrestor assembly requires very little maintenance
Retains power and smooths power curve
Lightweight construction weighs less than stock
Stainless steel stinger and end cap
Aluminum alloy canister body
Increased canister diameter for more packing material and longer life
Design cues taken from 4.1 four stroke exhaust
Made 100% in USA

What exhaust Silencer do you have? Comment below.
Just a friendly suggestion. You should always let your TPI warm up to operating temperatures before twisting your throttle like that. And as far as them not coming stock with a Spark arrestor, not everyone wants one or requires one. Lots of folks buy the XCW's for racing and in all of the US Hard Enduro Series, you are not required to have one. Along with piles of other races. But I get it, the majority of folks would prefer to have one in the stocker. Lots of outfits add them on by request before leaving the showroom floor but it certainly costs extra.... All the best and great video.
Thanks for you input Chad.
I don’t know much about dirt bikes, but I have an old 1975 Yamaha DT175 Enduro, and I am restoring the exhaust as we speak and noticed the stock silencer has the USFS stamp of approval on it! Crazy how they moved away from that today. Great sound!
Yeah that’s crazy! Thanks for sharing
hey man like the clours on your machine. ive just bought a 2023 6 days got it yesterday and got a FMF muffler as well. just have to fit now. thanks for the video safe riding
Thanks
How’s the muffler now? Is it worth the change?
@@dragandobras2045 Yes
I run a FMF myself. It amazes me that a lot of OEMs don't put spark arrestor on their bikes. Cost has to be minimal
Which FMF silencer do you run? Yeah I wish they did it would be nice on the ole pocket book.
@@dirtbikesam FMF Turbine Core II
I have a 2018 300 xc with same muffler. 👍
It’s a great muffler
I have the same silencer on my ‘21 te150 but mine doesn’t have the usfs sticker or stamp anywhere on it?
Does yours?
I will have to look but I do not remember it having a USFS sticker on it but the FMF website says its forest service approved
I thought the TPI bikes didn't smoke as bad but it looked like it smoked as bad as a carb bike.
Haha yeah they still smoke once they are warmed up the smoke less than carb bikes but that’s about it!
Dig the hat! :)
Thanks
So dumb that they don't come with spark arrestors on the stock silencer!!
Sooo dumb
