Like this computer and had an HP Pavilion years ago but this time budget was limited. I went with a Dell Inspiron 16 5630 earlier this summer instead which I got at a heavy discount. This pavilion with the Core 5 is north of $1000 MSRP which is ridiculous. That's almost as expensive as the HP Envy 17 that I used to have and I replaced with the Inspiron. My Inspiron without discount would have been north of $800 but the Pavilion is over $1000 so out of my budget this time. Very good looking computer for sure, but I couldn't afford it this time.
Thanks for the great review. I decided to purchase the HP Pavillion 16 with the Intel 5 processor and 16gb RAM and I think it will be a solid family computer. Thanks again for the thorough review!
I’m not sure how intensive your needs are. The configuration I chose has an integrated graphics card, so it won’t be best for video rendering or other graphics heavy uses. It’s great for most everything else. Check on your specific needs and upgrade the graphics card and processor if needed.
@@taylorg9135 basically i need to create PowerPoints and stuff like that for business and there graph etc But okay thank u this won't be the one I'm thinking to buy lenovo ideapad slim 3 i7 13th gen it's build quality is not so good but other than that everything is good runs smoothly and can do multiple things so it's best for me
I am looking for something that has a decent screen for streaming video from UA-cam, Netflix etc. Something with decent storage for streaming and downloading music from Tidal, Qobuz etc. Has bluetooth 5.3 for bluetooth headphones etc. This is on sale for $399 right now without oled but with 1tb of storage. Seems to fit the bill.
With the Intel Ultra 5 125U processor and Iris Xe graphics, your laptop will share system RAM for graphics. This means less RAM available for running applications. If you're running Windows alongside graphics-intensive tasks, the limited memory will quickly become a bottleneck.
Outstanding review! re: Telling it like it is with fine, granular detail. You R the "Review Whisperer". Thank you.
Where im from, HP are offering it with the intel ultra7 155U , 16gb, 1TB ssd for roughly $960.
