Spark Cycle Works is an excellent company to purchase from and their customer support services is outstanding. The first Bandit I bought from them was totally destroyed on January 30th of this year by a SUV making an illegal turn while I was riding it and I was almost destroyed too. Me spending 3 months in the hospital/rehabilitation center learning how to do everything all over again and I'm still recovering but walking again. Long story short I bought me another Bandit this November against my family wishes and although I can't ride it yet but still I had to do it. I'm not going to let an accident stop me from doing what I enjoy the most and I'm thankful to be alive today to enjoy life again.
One recommendation I have is don't use the warped wheels. Most people like wheels that aren't pre-warped like that, for safety reasons. If warped wheels are just part of your business model I'm not sure that is the best decision there considering more high end bikes come with true wheels

Expensive bike, but you can tell the parts they use are pretty darn good. Not to mention, they went with street tires, which most sellers go with knobby tires instead.

The power ramps up, which is good for not flipping you on your back, but not great for starting off at the bottom of a parking garage ramp. The cruising speed is the main attraction here, and although they could have gone for a higher torque windings, that comes at the loss of speed. The Wired Freedom is great and I love the performance, but the difference here is the Bandit has a real moped frame with legal safety gear and a real VIN. The Wired Freedom is a gray market e-bike that, unfortunately, can never be completely legal. Most people are ok with that, and so am I because I believe rider responsibility is more important than vehicle limits. And if you don't care about limits at all, the Bandit can be upgraded to cruise at 60 - 70mph.
Nice package overall; docs, accesories, the 12v circuit, etc shows a lot of care & consideration went into it. *Any chance you'll cover the Ristretto 512? Looks pretty slick, and as someone who lives in a hilly area, the proposition of a moped style ebike with a mid-drive is very intriguing.
Wish they would add a torque sensor to the bike. I was on the fence because I love to pedal so I ended up going with the Juiced Hyperscrambler 2 because it pedals so good with the torque sensor.
Bad ass bike but I think I would prefer the 2024 60v wired freedom! Mine comes this month so I might be a little biased hehehe. From what I can see the wired freedom is able to get more speed going downhill from the videos I’ve seen and it’s cheaper, but it definitely doesn’t have an option for another battery. Super cool bike regardless def will catch more eyes then the wired
If they sent them to the UK I'd buy one immediately. For any of the cool bikes I'd need to use a postal redirect service which would increase the cost so much.
@@umi.1498 The Talaria is in a whole different bracket, e-bikes with pedals are allowed to ride on sidewalks in my area. E-bikes without pedals are only allowed on dirt trails, that just isn't useful to me.

Question. If a high power 40 amp 18 by 2700 lithium ion battery being one of the high amp batteries. is it safe to draw so many amps. I used to vape along time ago when we measured and built all our own tube mods and cloud chuckers. I learned that the batteries didn’t like to be maxed out and got hot quickly The batteries in this bike have to be more then 40 amp batteries if the controller can push 40 amps. With all the bikes you’ve tested how many have had battery failures. Mabey one last q. Where should one store their e bike for safety 😊👍
different cells have different amp discharge ratings. not sur eon the specs for most. The only battery I have ever had fail me was the $2400 Chi Battery Systems 72v 38ah which I paid for in full. They don't have any circuits built into their battery preventing it from going below the minimum voltage cut off, and it went under 60v, all the way down to 5v and now will no longer charge above 80% (77v, where 84v should be max) and also it won't hold a charge, the voltage will drop on it's own with no load, after about a week it will drain to 0. Most ebikes have circuits built in to prevent this from happening. Not Chi.

I mounted my mirrors as far as outward as I could yours or in so it's going to be hard to look what's behind you you're going to see your body or your arms
I just bought a aerial rider for $3,100 but I add some stuff so it was 3700 but it's dual battery front and rear motor the rear motors 1300 watts and the front motors 1000 watts and it's supposedly goes 37 mph and I've already had it for about 3 or 4 days now and I can't even ride it cuz a damn rain and too cold for my old ass oh and I almost forgot it's 52 volts also and it seems to be really high off the ground maybe 36 inches or 38 in from the seat height and it's really nice looking too

If you compare all these fast 2k+ moped style e-bikes to wired freedom, it seems like wired freedom beats them all for the price point. Also, I don’t like the fact that all these moped style e-bikes can’t have any kinds of baskets. It can only haul the rider him/herself, no passenger no cargo nothing else.
Wired Freedom is the best price point only if you are local to Chicago. The $1,999 price tag is for a limited time. A 2 month delivery time and $250 in shipping needs to be considered.

120 TPI tires on a moped style bike is pretty stupid as is a thumb throttle. The slow start and weak acceleration is another head scratcher. The idea that a small company that assembles in America but of 100% Chinese parts is somehow superior to what the good Chinese manufacturers are turning out is probably misplaced. It probably looks more dramatic on camera than it really is sometimes, the drill is always set on a low torque setting then bolts are tightened by hand, but that's boring to show - if that's what you're referring to - although I have to admit I did mess up a few times in my early days 😆

It climbed those grades easily! Just because it doesn’t have nobby tread doesn’t mean it’s a bad deal, this thing is so much more of a steal than a super 73 or a bullet, the wired freedom is an insanely good deal, but that doesn’t mean this is a bad deal.
The back wheel is out the tyre isn't put on properly I've got same motor 2000wat 52v20amp battery 45amp controller on stand 54mph on the road 40mph that is the speed for a 2000wat motor to get to over 40mph you have to go quite a long way on flat road and best thing is accelerator 30mph in 4 seconds now I'm taking about the kit which coat £989 that's much cheaper than that bike. I've noticed when u send a message you don't reply because what your saying is a bit not write do you aggre your a sales person for different company 😊😊

Hill climb is disappointing, it must be a delta configuration. Also convex mirrors are better and smaller
Motor is geared for top speed instead of torque off the line. And some bikes don't give you all the power until you're going a certain speed.
And my mirrors look exactly the same but they're black you've got a thumb throttle and I've got a twist throttle it's like a half twist throttle

Most moped style ebikes sale the rear racks separately. I have an Ariel Rider Grizzly and with the rear rack, i can mount a milk crate basket
