@@jamarwiggins9703he’s an instructor there and has either a short or a vid on that truck I believe
Those dudes glasses say he dropped out of school at 16. But welding is a kick ass job that pays well. So good on this dude! We need more skilled professionals in this country! Glad he is living his best life.
@jpeg fern already have robots on farms, already have robots welding.
nah they say his eyes are fucked from welding😂
@@wwjd6922 yep robots weld all od the vehicle frames and stuff
@hazymist_ 8 robot welding covers thousands of different applications other then cars and trucks.

The hell with colleges, a trade school is where it's at, guaranteed employment
Big shortage of domestic skilled labor
That’s the point
It all goes to healthcare anyways. See you in the afterlife!
Be your own boss, make your on schedule and be in control of your own destiny!!
Not in todays economy with Biden in. Alot of the rig welders are selling their machine.
North Dakota in the oil fields is one the best for welding when you make yourself available 24/7 you can charge up to $500 an hour
That's some of the harshest weather to work in as well.
@@1BigMistakee the harshest is alberta, fuck this cold is brutal
Yup
Wtf man can yall drop links!!? 500 a hr I'll weld in hell 🤣🤣

You don’t have to tell us you dropped out of high school at 16
He makes more in 1 year than you make in 10 though

Im a welder, I used to make $150000 in an year in Korea, right now in Canada I make almost $290000 per year, so if I bring that money to Korea, I can get bunch of hoes there
Lmao
Pipe welders make bank.
Y'all also spend all of money on strippers and blow
how much payrate of pipe welder in usa
Every welder i know spends all his cash on blow
Same with oil riggers
God Bless!
Money well spent
And strippers.... You can't forget the strippers man.
Im a fabricator/welder and not one welder i know does blow or any other drugs for that matter
I believe him. 45 years ago living in London UK I met pipe welders on way to the Middle East working for Bechtel on oil pipelines. Making equivalent money even then
Good for you man👍 that's awesome. Pipe welders make a ton of money. Fabrication welders make real good money. We need more people like you in this industry.
I'm a welder/fabricator and I LOVE IT. I'm super glad I went to school to learn it. That day goes by super fast and it's very fun work.
@Jaden Munoz I had a very bad back surgery while ago, I was tricked Into lower back surgery. Long story short it made me worse and fuct me up way bad and got laid off. But my schedule was 5 a.m. to 3 p.m Monday thru Sunday !! I love my job just wish I didn't get screwed over from my shiitty doctor smh. Take very good care of your backs please folks.
Yeah I'm a fitter welder too, except I hate it. Everyone else I know works 40 hours in a office making twice what I make working 60 hours a week breaking my back. Now dont get me wrong I have a welder and everything at home and I live working on my own projects, but working for the man is a joke. Going to go out on my own soon
@@chevyboy37I know a guy who had about 17, had to in order to get the disability payments, he eventually died 25 years later at a reasonably young age, pain medication and a sedentary life style due to the pain.
Welding is fun if you have a steady hand. Took a class in HS for it and it’s gotten me some really good jobs.
He welded on the space shuttle when it was actually in space.
More than likely under water welding. I know a guy back home that under water welded and made millions by the time he was 35. But he works 7days a week
Hes not liying, People don't belive welders can make that money they don't understand the usefulness. Cant Ducttape everything.
@@Jugc0006 I was making a joke because only a very very small amount of welders ever make that in a year.
@@brucepal3907 true very few do, I know a few who were making 100k many years ago.
@@Jugc0006 yep..100k... not 350. And the starting pay on average right now for oil rig welders is from 50 to 70k. Underwater welders in Texas might start at 100k.
I am sure there is more to the 350k story here.... perhaps it was 350 he was paid to provide a round the clock crew.
I would say you are an above average welder. Most of the ones I know make more like $150k because their hobbies and drinking problems keep them from working overtime.
Its more like 50 gs. And thats after 20 years experience.
The thing about welding is, you can always pick up hours. Jobs like welding our jobs where you can just work as much as you want to possibly work it's possibly work and you're gonna get paid well hourly. So it adds up. That's the big downside of it. You can make a lot of money welding it's just you have to put in a lot of hours perit's out of hours. And some people want careers where they can put in less hours and make good money. I don't make 350000 a year but I make around 80 and I don't work that hard. Plus I work from home so I can get my time back whenever
@@greekfrenchman4434 😂😂
My cousin lives in Ohio and welds gas pipes. He makes $150K a year as well. He could easily work more and make more but his kids are out of college and he’s completely debt free so he is just coasting at this point.
I think he welds off shore oil
I believe him 💯 % he’s getting ready to weld something right now!!!
Yessir
I love hearing the stories of people that dropped out of school that make more than the teachers that said you need an education
Pipeline-welder in his truck means they pay him and his truck. 84 hours a week.
Unless you’re doing Tig welding/pipeline welding/ railroad don’t waste your time. I worked as a welder making $16 an hour after trade school 1/16 fluxcore wire, welded I beams and various other structures for bridges and skyscrapers etc. I enjoyed the work but I make a lot more doing a lot less now.
You have to work outside chief
Amen. After 22 years of welding in 3 different provinces, i only just this year broke 50k a year.
$16 an hour???? Lad you getting ripped!
But here in Australia most are on over $37 plus penalties!!!
Nothing uncommon about a welder/boilermaker making $150-$250 a year!
@@arthurdouglas6701 in canada every farmer with a 110v welder in his garage is a welder, and every fresh off the boat mud-duck is a welder too. Lucky to make 4 or 5 bucks over minimum wage in ontario

After you've made your bank those early years make sure youve saved and invested. It's just like any trade job, depends what you are willing to do. The man willing to do the stuff no body wants to do gets top pay. 2 am call on a Sunday to get a customer back operating gets some serious money, remember it costs drilling rigs 10k an hour to be shutdown. They will pay alot to get someone out right now to repair their junk

I can’t take someone seriously when they wear glasses like that

We made college over rated. Boomer Society pushed so hard for college and then their kids did the same. Problem is college jobs do not keep the world moving. Trades do.

I'm not saying this guy's wrong he is completely right you can make that kind of money at welding with alot of experience, training and knowing the right people.
Same I was certified through a company called Nippon sharyo and I was making good money there but not 300k in a year kinda money not even close hahah

Drop out of highschool at 16… yes I’m tuned in now
Known some former NSW guys who’ve used their military training effectively doing underwater/undersea work/fabrication
No one has ever devalued trades. What’s devalued is back breaking work your first 40 years. Cause your body pays for the last 40
I’m happy to pay my structural welders.
Their work if timely and precise.
We don’t work them much overtime or much out of town.
But they earn more than my top electricians.
That’s a good thing because I’m not sure exactly what the “top electricians” spend their time doing but for what they get paid they should have enough to buy a broom.

This guy did not make 350k without a high school diploma 😂
Remember kids always drop out of school because it only holds you back

So many master welders I know have quit and started working as solar electricians you make so much more money 💯

I’m in the import export business. I cleared 7 figures in one year. That was my worst year. I don’t have any pay stubs to prove it.
I never went to college either glad I didn't. I'm not making 6 figures but I make more than most people with bachelor's and I am about even with the average masters degree and I'm only 24 with some certifications I got from OTJ training and a good work ethic
