I feel like every new generation of Nintendo console there are UA-cam channels that take off and become mainstays for Nintendo content creation. I am happy to say that I am here before this channel blows up covering the Switch 2. Keep making great stuff man I'm hear to watch it.
Right. I would also recommend Botalksmedia and AndresRestart. I was watching AndresRestart way back in 2021 and his channel gained a lot of subscribers throughout 2023.
“What’s significant for forever entertainment is a rounding error for Nintendo” WOW. That could have been an insane roast if used in the right malicious way.
While other console companies are buying AAA studios left and right, Nintendo is developing a closer relationship with Indies, from their Indie World showcases to actual Nintendo IPs indie games. In a way, that is so Nintendo of them. I hope with the Switch 2 they double down on this and let indie devs make games for dormant IPs.
Remember: it took DKC before Rare really took off. They were basically making games like RC Pro Am for the NES with the occasional memorable games like Battletoads for the NES, then going back to games like Double Dragon and Battletoads crossover.
I just hope they add support for Polish in the OS since it's it's one of the 3 most popular languages not included and Xbox and Playstation have Polish support since 2006 (almost 20 years now)
“What’s significant for Forever Entertainment is a rounding error for Nintendo” Weirdly reminds me of Warhammer 40K. I remember hearing “whole star systems are lost or abandoned because of rounding errors in munitorum tax returns”.
Keep grinding bro. I'm shock by the amout of view of the channel, the content you offer is cleary above other channel your size. I have no doubt you will get big soon.
It's pretty understandable. Most Forever Entertainment releses are underwhelming at best, Front Mission 1st got 5/10, Panzer Dragoon got 6. Publishers were willing to work with them because they were basically taking dormant franchises and covered all costs for remakes/remasters which seemed like a win-win situation, but I feel like because of their mediocre quality more and more publishers started to cut ties with them.
I don’t fully understand the sentiment of apathy for a series you loved as a child that has gone south with modern games. There’s so many older games to replay and so much to still enjoy about Pokémon. I’m 35, back in my day we only had 150 Pokémon. I was burning out around the same time as you with the franchise. They’re in a rut and it’s not just you. I absolutely hated Scarlet and Violet. However, I still love Pokémon in general. (I better since I have a giant Gyarados tattooed on my chest) You never know what the future holds, they might get their shit together. I certainly hope so.
If there were this "apathy" there wouldnt be as much of care put into some of these remakes. You have to understand that the business want newer audiences. The newer gamers aren't guaranteed to like the games you liked in the past. You really have to hear what younger audiences say about the older games.
Saying Pokemon is in a rut is delusional at best. The franchise has been making steps into becoming more open since Sun and Moon. Just admit at this point that you want it to be not-Pokemon anymore.
The biggest question: when will the switch 2 teaser trailer (30 second vid) be released? My guess is the second half of 2024 but Nintendo had one more game on their sleeve for the holiday season and that’s 2D Zelda.
@therealjaystone2344 I don't see why early 2025 wouldn't be the ideal date. Gives Developers the full 2024 to themselves without worrying about missing the deadline.
I've tried asking that one Sega/Atlus leaker Midori a couple of times but haven't had a reply, since I imagine Sega would have at least a bit of involvement in GX coming back. But I certainly think it's possible they're on GX and Grezzo is the team remastering Dark Moon, as they did for the first Luigi's Mansion
this is misleading. just because forever isn't making nintendo ip games, doesn't mean they aren't publishing on switch. if you look at their website, they've mostly been publishing indie titles to the switch, and of course there could be a chance of a remake of an old nintendo ip from them coming to switch 2. but to say nothing came out of this deal is just false information.
Hopefully it's clear in the video they are publishing on Switch and that this is where Nintendo's funding is going; there's even a section on how much of benefit they can be for smaller games and why this lines up with Nintendo's supportive approach to indies. It's true the focus of the forecast was to address speculation I've often seen that Forever are dealing with Nintendo IPs so perhaps in the interests of clarity I should have talked about their other output more.

Yeah. Agreed on all points

Indeed!
Agreed.
Duuuude you're playing the same Xenoblade song I got on random just before jumping to UA-cam haha. Anyways, this will surely be a great video 😂

I almost thought the title was existential for a second

Well...we just found out. Forever is the team remastering Donkey Kong Country Returns.
Well we got an answer yesterday, they're the ones doing Donkey Kong Country Returns HD!
I'm happy to see the deal coming through!
I love the XCDE soundtrack in the background fantastic game

Waiting for Panzer Dragon Zweei Remake

You are only in a rut because you only play a certain games.

Can you talk about Nintendo Pictures next?
Good shout. Probably won't be in the next month or so but I will definitely get to it.

Never even heard of them. I looked up their game list and it just looks like a bunch of shovelware.

Nintendo supposedly delayed their next console release to early 2025 in order to give their developers more time to have solid games for release.

Definitely 2nd half of the year, but the rest of the year is STACKED with games.
Development can take 3-5 years
Isn't next level games working on f zero gx?
