Some rashes, like candida and eczema, can seem to last forever! You might have tried a dozen different creams, seen specialist after specialist to no avail. Ricki Heller shares today why you should not give up. There is hope. You just need to be persistent!
My good friend, Ricki joins me today to tell her story dealing with candida caused skin rashes. Ricki has spent 19 years following an anti-candida diet and now she helps people eat, cook, and live well so they can focus on healing and enjoying their lives. She’s the author of three best-selling cookbooks in addition to writing for a whole bunch of magazines and websites. She’s just amazing at helping people learn to love their food regardless of how restrictive their diet is.
Ricki’s shares her own story of changing her diet to overcome her skin rashes. I believe it’s so important to hear Ricki’s story. When the process of ridding herself of her rashes looked bleak, she hung in there and persisted. Now she lives a rash free life.

Thank you for this! I started with one spot on my chest and it exploded from there. I told the dermatologist that this is Candida . Of course, she wouldn’t listen. After tons of steroids, oral and topical it exploded! My whole body full of Candida. Had skin biopsy and it showed skin lupus. I knew that that’s not right as well. Should have listened to my intuition.
I’m going on two years of working on this. I have a natural path doctor now and of course I’ve had some setbacks due to a double mastectomy and having to be on antibiotics. Well on my way to recovery. This episode really helped with depression that I’m having going through this. I’ve alway been a healthy eater, but this had me really look into my way of eating.

Is it safe to say that if you clear high levels of Candida in the gut my bad Seb Derm flare should clear? Also, my GI Map didn’t show overgrowth of Candida is an Organic Acid test more accurate for determining Candida systemically? Thanks.

I have had the same rash since 2017, once I eat a low histamine diet it goes away, I have it again now after taking antibiotics, it's gone from under the breast to on the stomach, in the inner thighs buttocks to the pubic area, under the arms, behind the legs, I'm starting the diet again, no creams help, last time I had hives everywhere. I wear a Tata bra now in hot weather

Calamine Lotion is the only thing I've found that reduces the itch and redness and heals.

It definitely can help, but this is really about looking deeper to see what's actually triggering them so you could hopefully reduce or stop them from appearing in the first place
