Definitely my chair. I'm that kind of guy who uses things until they break apart or don't work reliably anymore. So it's either my spine or my chair, that will need a replacement. xD Sad, but true. My Sennheiser Headset is roundabout, no joke, 13-14 years old. I remember taking the headset with me to school when i was ~17 years old. I'm 31 now. It feels like the cable is unbreakable, i just don't use it's mic. I have a seperate mic (Shure SM58) for that. My current mouse is a Roccat Kova, which is about 6 years old and not clicking reliably anymore. Replacement for the mouse is hopefully arriving tomorrow with improved optical switches instead of mechanical switches (That's the clicky things). The laptop PC i'm working with and my phone are quite new though. I need it for my job as a web dev. :)
Besides the point, but I PROMISE you that wireless mouse are as fast and responsive as regular mouse these days. There is absolutely no disadvantage for using a wireless mouse. Actually, a lot of FPS pros have used and continue to use logitech wireless mouse. Also if weight is an issue because of the batteries, you just put AA batteries into a AAA converter to get the mouse lighter. Also rechargeable batteries are so nice if you have a charging dock/station. I change a battery every few weeks, and sometimes not until a month is coming up. AND I NEVER turn the mouse off. So once it is finally blinking red, I change the battery and put that one on the charger. Trust me, drop the bungee and go wireless. You won't go back. Funny enough, mouse are just fine wireless, but keyboards are still playing catchup when it comes to wireless.
I'm wondering... Do you get balance issues on the desk itself? You showed, that on one side, there is the "hanging pc", but I didn't catch if there is any counter balance on the other side to avoid instability...
And then you have me. I use and school computer that does have a touch pad, but it does not work. It has touch screen that is really useful. And it is really small. And it is a yoga. I code in pretty much in 5 fps on scratch 😅
Great video, nice change of content, too. Easy to watch after an exhausting week/day that currently have. Interesting to see your actual workspace. Also your setup looks very "lounge"-like, maybe not what i would prefer, but it does look good, clean and professional. Generally i do like LED lighting, but i'm not a fan of having it constantly on at home, i get distracted too easily. I love the standing legs for the desk :D For anything sound related, i always prefer Sennheiser. And also the most important thing as a dev is definitely a big screen or alternatively 2 screens. That said, my main setup is improved only on the most important things, but since i've been working self employed i'm using a lenovo laptop PC to work with and to seperate all the important stuff from my private things. Not only for security reasons. I used to connect the laptop PC at my workplace to Keyboard+Mouse + Screens using an HDMI-USB adapter. Sorry for any typos/grammar mishaps. I really feel exhausted today. 1000 thoughts went through my mind while writing this comment. xD
prolly the most practical video out there, everyone else have like perfect cable management which isnt practical at all everyone knows what our wire management looks like even these creators go back to a messy setup after recording the video also is it just me or yall got sticky keys too cuz of oil from snacks lmfaoo
itts better to have a 27 inch because you know.... you dont want to have really small text sizes. As well you will need to multitask so it is better to have a larger display to do that
Overkill, haha, but I like it. Thanks for sharing! I wolud not bother to have such a large trash can. Of course it is sometimes convenient to use it but also you should stand up from time to time for health purposes.
I got that monitor this year too, good 'ol Amazon deal. Absolutely brilliant screen but backing up to a wall the glorious infinity light ring is turned off. You didn't mention what monitor arm you had, I went for the Ergotron HX as people recommended it for such a heavy monitor, but boy it was expensive.
Can you tell how we can earn and study at same time as CS sophomore. I am interested in C++ but there are not such part time opportunities in my countries in this domain. @KeepOnCoding
2:06 no, it's scientifically proved that logitech wireless mouse like Logitech G Pro doesn't make ANY difference at all in terms of input lag, it's just cost 3 times more.
What items in your desk setup need a major upgrade?
The entire setup
The dual computers with that monitor is amazing. Something I'm totally going to wishlist.
My desk 💀

I also fell victim to the “you need this $30 cable for your keyboard” lol. At least it looks nice ….

No issues at all. This countertop is a beast
The best productivity setup is to go to the library so your not tempted to play video games or watch random videos on UA-cam
And then you have me. I use and school computer that does have a touch pad, but it does not work. It has touch screen that is really useful. And it is really small. And it is a yoga. I code in pretty much in 5 fps on scratch 😅
Almost all pro Esports players use wireless mice nowadays, which should tell you a lot about how far Bluetooth has come
That's a damn sexy chair you got there. Thanks for posting.
good setup == productivity cuz you enjoy coding
only issue: 4:52 I think the RGB-Fans are flipped
Lol nice catch
