Hey everyone! In this video, I'm showing you how to use an ikea rast dresser hack to upgrade your home and bedrooms on a budget. This furniture hack is an easy diy project. I only used a few items and these results are super easy to achieve.

Do you ever use sealant for any paint projects? Is that something that’s needed?
Those L brackets on the corners make so much of a difference! And the gold pops beautifully against the blue paint. Great job.

I never thought about using the IKEA pieces and paint them. I’m not good at painting anything. I need three for my bedroom and using IKEA will save me lots of $$.
I also have a all wood tall dresser that my mother gave me but it’s an awful yellow.
I think I will try to sand and paint that piece first before I try painting the IKEA pieces.

They came out so beautiful I have white dressers in one of my bedrooms you just inspired me
to repaint them in a brighter white and add the gold 😊 Is there a whit paint you would suggest☺️
I love using Behr Paint. Depending on your wall color, you can choose Polar Bear (a nice crisp white), Palais White (a little more creamy) or Ultra Pure White (super stark looking). Those are my faves.

This IS AWESOME!! LOVE how the dressers turned out! I tried using a Wagner Spray paint tool and FAILED 🤦🏽♀️. I couldn't get it right, the paint wasn't spraying properly . Not sure what I was doing 🤷🏾♀️but, I ended up returning it.
Oh no! Which part were you using- The detail nozzle or the larger container? I found that diluting it is key.

Hi! Yes you can. The larger container is for the walls! It works, but definitely cover the ceiling and floors because there is a bit if overspray.

This looks great! You just inspired me to redo a drawer I paid to have someone redo and stain and it turned out horrible instead of throwing away! What grit sand paper did you use?
I used 80 grit to sand everything off. Then I used 220 grit sand paper to LIGHTLY sand/touch any unsmooth spots in between coats. Highly recommend the tack cloth.

@@DIYbyNikyFoster First I went to the thrift store and brought 2 pull out drawers for $5 each. I was feeling so so inspired. Then, I went to home depot to buy the same paint color, but I don't understand the color pallette does not look like the color scheme - "inked" on your inspirational work. Please tell me what is wrong? Do you mind sending a picture of the paint can. I am so so inspired by your talent creations. Thank you. @@bataiprice6190 It’s called Inked. I used Behr from the Marquee line in a Satin finish. The color goes on a little brighter once its dried, it looks a little darker, but still vibrant! 🤗🤗
