Wales lose to Poland in Euro 2024 play-off decider

Wales were left heartbroken as their hopes of qualification for Euro 2024 were crushed by a 5-4 penalty shoot-out defeat to Poland in Cardiff on Tuesday night.
Rob Page's side had thumped Finland 4-1 in their qualifying play-off semi-final last Thursday and battled admirably at the Cardiff City Stadium, limiting Robert Lewandowski and Co to just one shot on target through the initial 90 minutes and extra-time and having an effort of their own ruled out by VAR.

Very disappointed at Welsh fans disrespecting Polish national anthem. Low class and shines a very bad light on that country's citizens. We all learn respect for others at home. Looks like they lack upbringing from childhood where parents teach kids respect and priciples in life. This was so embarrassing for Wales. Shame, shame, shame!!! This is not how you win the game. Even though I was neutral, I am glad that Poland won the game.
Booing the use of flares by Polish supporters, not the anthem. I’ve been to almost every home game since 2015 and never seen the fans booing anthems. This narrative is false

@@noasmells thats understandable, but only 3 flares went off, and only for a few minutes, but that doesn't excuse disrespecting someone's anthem. But apart from that a lot of Welsh fans were very respectful before the match and wished us luck and vise versa. We got to sing again at the end and you didn't boo, so it's not all bad

Wales should be disappointed with how many chances they blew specially when Kieffer Moore intercepted the ball and could have shot but decided to dribble around the defender and gave away a goal kick.

I don't think I've ever seen somebody look more nervous when stepping up to take a spot-kick.
I have no idea why he decided to go that way because he must have watched enough shoot-outs to know that right-footed players who try to put the ball in the left-hand corner(and left-footed players who try to put the ball in the right-hand corner) seldom score if the 'keeper dives the right way, as it's very hard to get the ball right into that corner with power.
