    Solid video brotha! Depreciation is extremely rough, but it helps new owners enter the brand year over year. These cars are definitely unique and so glad they haven’t made major changes over the years. Also love the dynamic with Gabi added! Great work!

    Hi, just wanted to say great video and a greetings from TN. I am looking to upgrade from my nissan to an giulia this summer. This video helped me a lot especially about the mopar warranty options. Something you don’t really know about just doing a regular search. I am going to try and go for a 2020!

    I've had my 2018 Giulia for almost 2 yrs and not 1 issue yet. Not to say nothing won't happen. Will be purchasing a warranty for it soon while I finish paying it off in 2026 God willing. So far I'm happy with the buy, I love my Giulia. 🤓🖖

    I think Giulia is more interesting car than competitors. Yes in some sides Bmw audi or Mercedes has their good things but overall Alfa is father and they r sons which are trying to be the best

      That is such a great comparison! The Giulia by far peaked my interest the second they came to the US market. I had a bmw 3 series and an Audi TTS before this and by far I would choose the Giulia for best fun car.

    Love your videos continue the great work. I would like your opinion on which carbon fibre to put on my 2019 Giulia TI sport. I wanna carbon fibre that is not going to change colour with the sun. I’ve been looking at the carbon fibre from madness auto Works. Feroce. And I’ve been looking at the carbon fibre from agency auto works also and Kochi. But the Koshi is a bit expensive, but if I have no choice and you tell me to buy that one, I will thank you very much. Continue the great work.

    • @alfamods2.0T
      @alfamods2.0T  11 місяців тому

      Thank you so much! I’m sorry it took so long to comment back I just missed it. Koshi is the way to go! Here in the US madness is a dealer of koshi you have to check if it’s koshi it will say PPG clear PPG ceramic in the description on their website or call. I would not go agency you can get the same quality from aliepress for less money and less mark up. Even order off eBay or Amazon so long as it says real carbon then you will get a mid grade product that may last a few years without yellowing. Now for no yellowing OEM quality Koshi

    I routinely "shop" cars in my free time, and I totally agree with you. That said if you are looking for slightly used you might be surprised and find a new one for the same amount. We have been shopping Stelvio lately as a potential next buy and I have seen a few new ones with discounts that make them the same as slightly used. As far as reliability goes I can't speak much on that yet as we only have 13k miles on our's so far and it's been hassle free but all that I have seen for the most part is easily self fixable and mostly battery related like you have mentioned before. 20 and new is definitely the way to go if someone were to ask me though for the newer tech.

    • @alfamods2.0T
      @alfamods2.0T  11 місяців тому

      Yes I agree 100% the 20 up is the way to go. Yes slightly used you better off with a new one and that’s a great point to make, may even add this in a later video because it’s true with incentives.

    Looking at one locally at a (non Alfa) dealer....2017, base AWD, replaced engine (they will warranty the engine, also have carfax for the donor car, engine has 37k miles), new oem brakes, chassis has 40k miles, clean PPI from Alfa dealer, some minor cosmetic stuff (minor curb rash, couple dings/small dents)...sub $20k. Gotta say, I'm frustrated it doesn't have some convenience stuff (carplay, android auto, sat radio), but love the driving experience. What are your thoughts on that? I can get carplay/AA and sat radio added for about $1k, and I absolutely hate the Alfa wheels it has (18" curvy 5 spokes) and will look to get something better looking eventually.

    I drove VW products for over a decade. I had 4 GTIs and an Audi A3 Quattro. My last GTI (a 2018 that I bought used with super low milage) I had for just about a year. I was plain tired of the VW/Audi experience. I wanted some thing DIFFERENT. I've liked the Giulia since they were first released here in the US. On father's day of this year I went out and traded in my GTI for a 2020 Giulia it's just a base model RWD - Package 22L Nero Edizione in Verde Visconti (Green) Metallic Exterior Paint. It still has some of the remaining factory warranty on it. It just crossed 30,000 miles on it and I paid just over $27,000 for it.
    I couldn't be more pleased with the car so far. I have yet to find the cornering limit on it. It's just feels so damn connected to the road.
    I've had feelings of regret not spending more money for a car with more options. Then I remember that more options meant that I'd have to get a car with not one, but two sunroofs. I miss not having paddle shifters, but not as much as I hate having a sunroof, let alone two. For the life of me I can't understand why automakers think that cutting a massive hole (or two) in the roof of a vehicle is a smart. All it does is reduce the stiffness of the structure.

      @alfamods2.0T  11 місяців тому

      Super happy that your enjoying the Giulia. It’s always nice when a car can make a great impression on the road. I defiantly felt the same before the Giulia, tired of the bmw, Audi experience. Not that they are bad by any means. Good news is you can add the paddle shifters I will probably be making a video on that, but all you need is the paddles your car even if it doesn’t have paddles has the connector pre installed. You simply install plug in and program using multiecuscan.

    • @alfamods2.0T
      @alfamods2.0T  11 місяців тому

      Yes this is defiantly a concern I would probably not be inclined to purchase a car that I can not easily get into a dealership, unless you have a good 3rd party mechanic that is willing to work on this, honestly dodge should be able to and some do but most don’t.

      The 2.0T isn’t bad I paid 160 for the belt, 75 spark plugs my self, and 150 oil change. Battery previous owner changed. 100% agree on the QV you defiantly need some money put aside for that serpentine belt big job there.

    Hello, I don't know where to ask you something in private so I will ask here and I would be happy if you could give me an honest answer. I want to buy my first second-hand sports car and Alfa Romeo Giulia is my favorite. I found one from 2018 with a motor 2.2 JTDM 180hp G2. The price is 19.000$ with 80.000 miles. Do you think is a reliable car for at least another 30.000 more miles? Thank you in advance

    • @alfamods2.0T
      @alfamods2.0T  10 місяців тому

      The 2.2 has a great track engine wise from what I know of reliability. If it’s an Alfa just prepare for the same old make sure battery is good and relays are good. Then get your self a OBD2 reader to clear codes and check what’s going on when problems do arise, but yeah 19k isnt bad I don’t know the going price in your area.

    How common is it for the turbo o rings to get messed up and how many miles did you have before that happened

    • @alfamods2.0T
      @alfamods2.0T  11 місяців тому

      It’s fairly common just look for pinkish residue by the turbo lines to see if you have that issue or not. It happened to the previous owner I just happened to notice it so not sure how long it was occurring. Nothing that effected the car

      It depends on your driving record. I pay 135 or so a month for just this car, 130 something for my new Tesla as well.
