Wonderful game. Another one I would recommend is the first Buffy the Vampire Slayer for Xbox. The game is exclusive to that system to this day and the reason I wanted the console in the first place. If you like beat-em-ups, you will not be disappointed, I think.
It was a really good show back in the day
The only thing I know of this show is that WWE wrestler Lita broke her neck during filming of one of the action scenes. The game sounds standard licensed fare, but well covered! Liked the added music :)
God, I forgot about Lita. Had a big thing for her when I was younger 😂.
Not sure how I don't remember hearing about this neck breaking incident.
Steadysphere I remember that. She was out for over a year after that.
Retro Game Rater They mentioned it on the Inserexion PPV in May 2002.
Man I wish they made a PC/Windows version of this. I loved the TV show 🙂
Yoo I miss this game so much I played this game before
I didn't have a PS2 back when it was a current console. I didn't even know this game existed until a few years ago. I was excited at the prospect of a Dark Angel game, especially with the leads from the show voicing their characters. Unfortunately after playing it, I was quite disappointed.
I was expecting a game where you explored large 3D levels, solved some simple puzzles, had to gather evidence, find keys, break into labs, etc. Instead it's a completely linear beat 'em up. Walk through an area, beat up all the enemies, pass a checkpoint, beat up more enemies, rinse and repeat. I mean, it didn't have to be a super-complex graphical adventure, but I didn't expect it to just funnel you along a set path filled with enemies.
I wanted so much more from this game. :(
I literally just bought this game yesterday, despite knowing better after watching this video. I couldn't help myself.
I want a copy now, I was in the Navy at the time but watched Dark Angel when our crew was in port (trident submarines have two crews and we switch off, so the submarine can be at sea most of year).
I wish they released a PC version 🙂
Pretty much sums up the 21st century consumer then hey? 🤣🤣
@@GoldenGateNum9 nah just nostalgia for when we were younger lol 🙂
I’m glad I subscribed. These videos are interesting.
Glad to have you onboard 👍
The United States falling into chaos in 2019? Man...they were so close with that date!
Great video again.
Thank you 👍
Have you played the Alias video game? I actually thought it was ok. VERY flawed, but worth it for any fan of the show
I've not played it, but it is in my list of games that I will eventually review.
@@RetroGameRater I would give it a 3/5, personally. It has some major flaws e.g. the inconsistent AI and half-baked stealth mechanics, but the presentation, story and level design are solid. If it had more time in the oven, it could've been awesome.
@@RetroGameRater try playing stolen for the ps2 a very good stealth game like splinter cell
2019, the world was in chaos..lol...you don't say
Before Radical made Simpsons Hit & Run, Hulk Ultimate Destruction and Prototype, they made this drivel. Well, they had to start somewhere...
