Downton LA is actually starting to look and feel like a real downtown. It has good potential to become a real destination.
It already is a real destination. Walt Disney Concert Hall, Broad Museum, MOCA, Crypto arena, Colburn conservatory, the Arts District, Little Tokyo, Union Station, loads of new restaurants and bars, cafes and nightclubs. DTLA likely has the highest concentration of high rise rooftop bars in LA--and the best city views. A lot of it just remains undiscovered by people who are still somewhat perplexingly afraid to explore it in depth
Thank you so much for making these type of video's, they are very relaxing! It feels like it's us walking down these streets and it's my dream to visit LA one day. Thank you for bringing me one step closer to it :)
Welcome! Glad you like them.
I was in L.A. last week, and I have to say that these videos are exactly like walking the Downtown actually. Well, VANS & Apple shops in Broadway are open now, hahaha. Thanks for sharing :)
I wanna come and visit LA man. I've never been to the USA in my entire life, but I have a deep excitement and burning desire to come and visit 🇺🇲 Pax Americana 🕊️
My dream is to live in LA... I have it as a dream to fulfill... I am 15 years old and I live in Argentina but I know that one day I will be there... I KNOW!🤩🤩

I love this city, It's my favorite city in the world, There are so many buildings in this city and I like being in the city. Wow, I love the design of those buildings, The design looks amazing and The architecture is stunning. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this, Thank you so much, Have a nice walk.
Welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.
What's interesting about Los Angeles is that despite the tall buildings downtown, it feels like there's more "street life" - that is, people out and about - in neighboring areas like Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Echo Park, Pasadena, or Hollywood.
It's an area in flux. Visit downtown LA at night and you will most definitely see gobs of finely dressed people lining up outside of clubs waiting to get in, or hipster bar and brewery patrons spilling out onto the street. Then throngs of clubgoers hitting the trendy restaurants and cafes at 2am after club and bar hours, hoping food will soak up the alcohol.
My siblings and friends would do a bar crawl in downtown prior to the pandemic and the streets were hardly deserted at midnight. Also went to some live comedy shows there and hidden speakeasies. Little Tokyo is also bustling with patrons visiting its karaoke rooms.
Even during the day though places like the Broad Museum have lines snaking around the building.
It's more of a place for people in the know rather than for someone say visiting the outdoor mall that is Santa Monica or its touristy pier.
Downtown LA now has a little more in common with Pasadena, Echo Park, West Hollywood, or the revitalizing Hollywood/North Hollywood.
And other lesser known cities like Montebello, Whittier, Huntington Park, South Gate, Lynnwood, Florence, Hawaiian Gardens, Cerritos, etc.
I was walking a lot in LA I loved walking, I see these places and I walked all those places just like you, now I'm in Mexico, come back after 20 years, thank you God 🙏
Nice. I want to visit Mexico once this virus craze is gone.
Wind Walk Travel Videos ʬ Well, that would be wonderful, Mexico is beautiful in many places 👍
L.A is my favourite city👍
Thank you for your videos ! Thank you for letting us walk with you !
I have to especially thank you for not only showing us the street view but also looking up to see the architecture !
YES !
Thanks!
i can smell people perfumes and can vibe while walking through camera damn i am in❤❤ illusion
OMG that violin cover of Stay was amazing!
at 32:50? It wasn't Stay, it was Ready for Love by India Arie!!!!! 😠 I recognized it instantly because I was playing this video as background noise to relax, and I rushed back to my laptop to comment that it's India Arie lol
Wqtching all these foreign street videos as an Icelander really shows the difference between my country and prrtty much thr rest of the wprld. Every city looks like this, big fancy skyscrapers that go om for endless streets and consrant noise. But in Reykjavík it's all way more quaint and small, even in the downtown area.
Thanks for watching! I'd love to visit Iceland someday.
I like downtown LA. A beautiful place. From Brazil.
A California-based Native American tribe has recently given Arizona State University $5 million to help renovate this (Herald Examiinor) building. Good to see nice buildings getting a second chance to thrive. 👍I passed by here in 2017 and kinda surprised it's still in progress today.
My dream City 🏙️ One day ill be there ❤
I ❤this city! Thank you✌✌
Amazing I would love to visit. I have lived and visited many places but never LA even though its i have been drawn too. could sit outside a coffee shop all day and just people watch.
Hopefully going back in a month after two years, will be my first time travelling alone! So excited and nerveous lol
Magnifique ! La plus belle vidéo de downtown Los Angeles que j'ai vue sur UA-cam. Bien filmé, belles images et son exceptionnel ! On s'y croirait. 👍
Thanks!
They didn’t have scooters 🛴 available when I was there years ago and it took forever to walk around on foot. A scooter 🛴 would have definitely made it easier to get around. But I still wouldn’t be caught dead downtown at night. Thanks for showing this!
There's people doing bar crawls, eating at trendy restaurants, or club hopping till 2am nowadays. The streets of DTLA have been alive at 1am with long lines of patrons snaking out doors.
A wonderful video tour of this beautiful place Los Angeles. I enjoyed to the end and have you a well deserved thumbs up. Regard from Bali
Califonia my dream holiday I've been to florida is was so good 👍 from England x

Best city in the world.
Seru sekali jalan jalan ke los angeles-
What I like the most about this ('cause I'm kinda weird) is the lens artifact we see as a tiny dancing light; looks like you have Tinkerbell on point : ).
Beautiful vidéo
I love los Angeles someday i'll be there ❤
It's m'y childhood Dream ❤

Cute Los Angeles
Nice 🚶 in the Downtown District ! Get out at the night when the walking dead emerge !
Very nice city!
The street violinist at 32:50 is playing India Arie "Ready for Love" beautiful song!!!!!
The reaction from some ppl seeing you is hilarious 🤣
Thank you sir, for the shot at approx 7:54. I'm still trying to figure out the differences between Art Deco and Moderne, and your considerate panning of that building's entrance underscores those differences. Thanks!
I lovel this city 💕😍 from KSA
4:47 lost weed in serval small fires had me rolling
L.A. is such a beautiful place but often criticized for the homeless and illegal population but that's what makes it an Amazing city it has everything
xD
Its ugly...
No traditions
Thank you.
Watching this video with vr headset 👌
One day I'll get there that's why I work over 10 hours a day✌
Amazing video, you done a good job.I will like to go to LA one day

Very soon I will be there
Very good, thanks...
One day I will be there...
Someday i'll be there
Sometimes I feel like I don't have a partner
Sometimes I feel like my only friend
Is the city I live in, the city of angels
Lonely as I am, together we cry...
I was driving through downtown LA last June to attend an event, passed by an area with so many tents and homeless people
Yeah, that's Skid Row area.
@@WindWalkTravelVideos Gil Garcetti did a nice job dealing with homeless issue in LA lol 😝👎
I'm gonna move there someday
Next year i'll be working there
I was watching one of the first episodes in season one of Angel, in which a character speeds down this street in a van, past the Orpheum. It's a very quick shot, but I was able to say "Hey, I recognize that blur!". So I slo-moed it and there it was haha. Los Angeles is a kind of character in that show, so I hope to see other landmarks WW has walked on or under, or past. (Hint: the 6th Street Bridge) : ) Well, forget about the 6th St Bridge: very sketchy area (at least in some of the photos I've seen).
Sure, please check my channel for more videos in LA like this one:

@@WindWalkTravelVideos Thanks, will do.
Los Angeles!!!!!
Super
Great video. Unfortunately it is sad to see that such a rich place still has so many homeless people.
Go to Pasadena please. I would love see Pasadena streets at night !!
After 5yrs playing GTA online feel like been there 😅
42:44 - cars driving on the road sound like the clatter of horses ' hooves, really :))
Belíssimo país
Would have liked to see more of the cello player.
Keeping the camera level, you get a constant 1/3 to 1/2 of the image as bare concrete or street surface. Look up more!
It's eye-leveled.
Wind Walk Travel Videos ʬ Yes, I understand... it’s eye-leveled. Still gets 50% bare street or sidewalk surface due to wide angle lens. Just saying it would be more fun if you look up and around more. Enjoy your videos very much. Keep up the good work!
Will take note of that. Thanks!
LA is the 4th richest city in the world, they can afford to clean up and rebuild their sidewalks. People just need to demand it.
wauuwwwwwww awesome nice
Cultural note: The guy in the white T shirt 13:21(and what was probably his bike, later) reminded me, why don't we see motorcycle riders from well known clubs riding down streets? Expecially downtown streets. Or, restored muscle cars (from the 60s and early 70s) and hot rods? Have high end imports gained that much ground in SoCal? We from the North of the State automatically associate bike and car culture with the South; we think it all started there (well, not bike culture so much; that started up our way; but car culture (Kar Kulture) absolutely started down south). I, for one, am surprised I haven't seen any of it kind of randomly, in WW tour videos (assuming that T shirt guy isn't a member of who I think he may be a member of).
That still exists, but mostly in east LA and in suburbs with older aficionados.
It's been far more common for about 15 years now though to see hybrids or EVs like Teslas. Not just imported cars. In some neighborhoods every other car is a Tesla nowadays.
Amazing! Wearing the great Sennheiser HD598 with the FiiO E17 + E-mu 1212m PCI - I just hear the H O L O G R A P H I C realistic 360 grad. surround sound!! SUPER! An excellent binaural mics - I can hear almost everything, any sounds. Thanks for sharing!
Could you introduce what gear you used for this?Cheers from Russia!
Wow it looks a like manhattan in new york city
Yes, alot of it does. This is one of my favorite cities along with Vancouver, Singapore, and of course my home New York.
With about 1/10th the amount of people. Downtown LA has made tremendous strides over the past 20 years, but still has a long way to go to be anything approaching the urban vitality of NYC.
@@DavidinSLO Depends on what you call vitality. Overcrowded sidewalks on a muggy evening night makes for a lot of irritation. Living elbow to elbow.
DTLA per se may not be as crowded as Manhattan, but the larger metro areas are analogous in population.
NYC's conurbation is about 22 million while LA's is about 19 million.
Multi cultural city.
I spotted Soto Gang in it! 🤩 14:31
Too bad it wasn't sunnier. Too much overcast. Nothin' like a real California sunset. Some of the best sunsets in the world. Every color in the spectrum.
Kota besar yang sangat penuh sesak tapi mengagumkan
so tem patinetes elétricos ☺☺☺
nice! please do one for downtown LA central library also if you can.
I'll try, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do it.
@@WindWalkTravelVideos you're awesome and your videos are too!
i have been there 4 times
"Lost weed to several small fires" 😂😂
Thank you for your video! Could you please film Playa Vista, California? ☺️
