Very nice man!! That rainbow effect surprised me at first. Can't wait to see how this tech improves in the future for races. Hd racing would be amazing!
Are you using the stock camera what comes in the package or a new one? Because the image looks way better than in other videos. Or its just the fact that its night and there is nothing much to look at. 🤔
Once someone has a competitor its in human nature to down talk other companies so everyone knows they have the best. DJI has better video quality. This is like the inbetween analog and dji. Also if u already own goggles this saves u money
There's a few notes I put in the description of this and my last video. I can switch between both without issue yeah, I can't really perceive any significance delay.
im a noob to fpv, but arent fatshark goggles like hdo and hdo2 analog only? i ask because i wanna get a pair of goggles, but at the moment i have an analog quad, and in the future id like to upgrade to an hd system.
Those Google's have analogue module yes , but u can buy seal byte recover which mounts on your googles and plugs into the hdmi and you can use vouth analogue and digital on same Google's . Also probably buy skyzone sky04x insted of hdo2 since they are basically the same but sky has a menu and better DVR and more features and a 100$ recover module inside which hdo2 doesn't
Hi Scott, Video broke up more with 5 up. Was your antenna setup optimal? Just wondering if this is a Shark Byte limitation or maybe could be improved with better antennas?
Just running TrueRC stubbies. You can always improve the situation with antennas sure, this was just my analog set up, sitting shoulder to shoulder with the other guys in the pit. The break up was worse yes. Happened only in that heat however. Hard to pin point a solid reason for that. It's generally been pretty good. My mate has more of an antenna array on his goggles and it seemed to be fairly consistent.
Vrx. Won't default to the last channel you were on. It does a scan instead. Super annoying if there are two SB quads powering up. You need to manually select your channel.
Seeing how its targeted for racers and tiny crafts i dont see it being an huge issue. I havent personally tried it yet but i am very intrigued and will most likely buy it once readily available :D
Haha it does look like that. Yeah that's it, turtle mode and to protect from square hits to the top plate potentially karate chopping the quad. I made it pretty robust and obnoxious on this quad as at the time SB vtx's were non existent should I have killed it and need to replace.
Awesome flying mate, thanks for the thoughts too, have made sure they get passed on.
Thanks Mark, I can definitely see it transforming racing. Can't wait.
The video quality here looks so much better than I’ve seen in reviewers’ videos. Makes me think 2x about the system.
after the fist few seconds I thought, great gopro clip 😳
Same omg!!
Nice flying! Shark byte looks good
Really nice flight bro 😉👍👍 Keep it up 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Made me rethink which to buy. Shark Byte or DJI. Like the latency on Shark Byte and hate the frame freeze on DJI 😅
Why not both? ;)
@@ScottTomlinson that solves the problem 😎
Wow, it looks so much better under artificial light at night. Nice rip!
Thanks mate. With all the LEDs on the quads it was pretty surreal.

sharkbyte tinyhawk racing when? jk, that would be a heavy bird
Nice video and great info at the description! The rainbow effect really concerns me.
I'm impressed especially it's at night. It is very fast!
Looks good for you race guys! Nice flying to mate.
Cheers man, step in the right direction I think

Same camera yes, I spent ages tweaking settings however. Increasing the sharpness is a must. I'm using my own manual white balance too, not ATW1.
@@ScottTomlinson do you have maybe a dvr with your tweaked settings on day flying near trees? :)
@@ScottTomlinson I'm doing the same tweaking inch by inch till I get something I like... Mind putting your settings in the description?
How can people say that sharkbyte looks like analogue+ this looks so good
Once someone has a competitor its in human nature to down talk other companies so everyone knows they have the best.
DJI has better video quality.

Quality seems good enough: which vtx are you using? TX5.1M or S?
Thanks
TX5M yes, just on 25mW here for racing
Nice channel my friend. Subbed from Germany 🇩🇪
Thanks for watching.
Really Fast flight man!:) you will definitely have a new subscriber!:)
Can you comment on the latency? Could you notice latency anywhere on the track? Did you switch back to analog for latency test?
There's a few notes I put in the description of this and my last video. I can switch between both without issue yeah, I can't really perceive any significance delay.
lol what is that song? i scrolled down expecting it to copyright claimed but no. Also have you tried cranking the sharpness all the way up.
Yeah I've made quite a few tweaks now to the camera. Looking forward to testing the Foxeer cam too. The song is 'So Good' by ORKAS. It's licensed.

They have HDMI inputs on the goggles which Shark Byte then connects to.
@@Desert-edDave ty for clarification

That looks pretty sweet
great video thank u
Looks so crisp. how do you find the latency...if any?
Hard to tell any difference in my opinion. Or if I do, it takes half a lap then I'm adjusted.
Hey man , in the description you say that it always powers on on channel 1 , do you mean the vtx or the vrx , or bouth? Great vid btw
Vrx. Won't default to the last channel you were on. It does a scan instead. Super annoying if there are two SB quads powering up. You need to manually select your channel.
@@ScottTomlinson ye I gotcha , but wow I was super scared you ment the vtx that would have been horrible
Shark Byte is behind analog in penetration. I wonder how this will be improved?

In the thumbnail it looks like you've got a pink traffic cone on the top of your quad. What's that for? Is it to help with turtle mode?
Haha it does look like that. Yeah that's it, turtle mode and to protect from square hits to the top plate potentially karate chopping the quad. I made it pretty robust and obnoxious on this quad as at the time SB vtx's were non existent should I have killed it and need to replace.
@@ScottTomlinson Ahh makes sense, thanks for the prompt reply. Have a good day!
Thanks for the info! :)
that looks so much better , wish they had used this kind of footage as the main showcase .
nice flying! subed 😁
Damn! I've been wanting to night fly for years and can never get the right opportunity 😪
Always a great atmosphere getting to fly at night if you can.
I can't be the only person that thought it was go pro footage at the beginning....
Haha cheers man!
what's with that music?
