Great views again. I can just imaginge the goings on in the pub at closing time as they all shift to the other end of the pub, it is something The Two Ronnies would have been able to make a great sketch out of 😂✌
Funny I was going to suggest doing a trip up Mow Cop. One of my absolute favourite places. Visit here all the time. Perfect place to connect with the land and sky.... When you go to the Bridestones, I can also recommend Bosley Cloud just around the corner. One hell of a climb from Timberbrook Car Park, but the views are spectacular. Makes Mow Cop look like a speed bump.
Been wanting to get to here for a while and so glad I did the hill was challenging for my little T4 but if I have the energy I will have to consider Bosley Cloud if its that good
The Old Man O’ Mow stone is magnificent very majestic 😮 and the Heather was really beautiful, lovely colours and in full bloom 😊 ❤ love the music too .. big fan 👍🏻❤️

My Grandparents house is up Mow. My fathers family are prominent regarding the history of the place. There was Leesons buses, my great uncle Freds garage in Mount Pleasant and I'm related on my paternal grandmothers side to Hannah Dale "child of wonder".

I grew up in Alsager and I could see Mow Cop from my bedroom window. Always loved a trip up there for a quick walk round and up to the folly.
