My man Derrick McKenzie killed it as usual! What a beautiful mini drum solo he had going on at the end there! He is, and will always be, the heartbeat of Jamiroquai.
I have listened to Jamiroquai since they came onto the scene. I was 15. Now im 47 and im still jamming to the beat. My son is 16 and has been listening to them since he was about 5 ish. He is a crazy fan now. I think we both concure that the 1st 3 albums were the best. No one will ever get close to Jay, Toby (RIP) and Zender again in my lifetime. Musical magicians

Bean9seventy, after your comment I listened to Bootsy Collins, I didn't know about him before you mentioned. You are so right! My favorite was "Whats the name of this town?" This bass is amazing! And the Undisputed Trouth's Method to the madness... wooow! I can tell, i.m.o. bass is really the soul and spirit of Jamiroquai. That's why Stu is now and ever part of the band, and you my friend, keeping this spirit alive with your music, that is more than a cover, has the spirit too. This flow, this pure harmony, this version of Scam is sensationnal! Cosmic synth from Smith soul, crazy McKenzie rythm, Zender bassline riding all of this goregeously... It feels like the major 90's period of this band could have bring us much more...
This is definitely one of the final iterations of Do That Dance (track performed at live concerts before the release of their second album) before it merged with Life Goes On (another pre Return of the Space Cowboy concert track) to become Scam.
Pretty, pretty, pretty please see if you've got some content from the original version of Synkronized :) Mainly that snippet from the MTV award show in 1999 where Jay was scatting in the studio (fans dubbed it Midnight Funk).
