He is Iraqi, not Palestinian. He said he lives in Palestine street, a famous neighborhood in Baghdad.
Byt this guy is well known in Al Rasheed street, he is famous for having a unique smart way to tell the dates and what happened in every year in the history starting from 7000 years ago!! I highly recommend you go back and interview him, and I promise you will be shocked.

I know, he makes me want to visit Iraq just to meet him.
I hope he tipped him good. Went above and beyond to cook a large portion + the bread.
Bagdad was renowned ancient city. It's culture & identity is well known. Unfortunately , has gone war torn city. Destroyed & demolished when US invaded to eliminate Saddam.
Later destroyed by ISIS.

Even after everything they have been through, Iraqi people look friendly and welcoming. Respect to their spirit.
Iraqi people are really resilient people. They also have a way of hospitality and respect.
Iraqis seem like such lovely and warm people, hope for peace and prosperity ❤️
Usually the people are good naturally. Only dirty politicians and useless government both inside and outside makes a mess.
I love how he ate a small bite of the food before he fed it to you. All great chef's taste their food.
I’ve never seen that. Is it a Middle Eastern or European quality?
Middle east
But he tasted it after he was done cooking it. He should be tasting it while cooking to adjust any seasonings.
He did that to show its not poison. You're an idiot clearly and so is theotheleo.
@@theotheleo6830 No, after your make the food you taste it for final tasting and then you do the serve/plating part of the process. A good chef always tastes during and after cooking.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen Iraq, as an American, in such a positive light. Makes me want to visit, and that food looked great!
I do remember Iraqis love their bread. If they offer you bread.. its a big sign they really like you. Huge hospitality. They take pride in it. And it's absolutely delicious. I can't find bread like it anywhere. Same with their tea.

interesting video, thanks for taking us with you!
I spent a couple of months in Baghdad in the summer of 1977, working for a Yugoslav company. We were staying in a small hotel on Al Rasheed St. and had our meals there. The food was great. In the evening, we'd explore the city, which, understandably, looked much better back then because they've had a series of wars in the meantime and the resulting pauperization of society. The streets were full of people in 1977, but in this video, they are empty even though it was a workday. I can only imagine that there has been a massive outflow of population because of the deadly conflicts.
