You really are one of the best educational music youtubers out there. You always keep it so simple, get straight to the point, explain your concepts clearly, and it's always so easily applicable even if we don't use the same DAW or plugins you do.
Love the simplicity of that second drop. Clean, pretty, bouncy
I have been watching a bunch of your vids lately and you get me so pumped to produce. I will definitely be purchasing your vocal pack when I can afford it. Thanks for all the inspo and wisdom

Love the first drop🔥🔥
Whilst I don't have the skills or talent to make tracks like this, I enjoy watching the process of others that do. Nice video.

I'm starting from square one and I feel like I'm making major progress through these builds, dude.

I enjoyed the video, so, so much. Really want to learn all of these tools but don't know where to start haha
Good Job 🤠👍
Thankx alex ❤❤ love from india
Second drop is my favorite
awesome
Yo this ks amazing !!!
Damn, it actually makes a lot of sense to start with vocals... As you said, it sets the arrangement in place, and then you just need to find chords and other sounds to add details/depth. I've always struggled with the arrangement, as it's my weak point, while designing sounds or composing notes is my strength. Will give it a try!
Wow! I dont really like chopping things up with an LFO tool, it ends up sounding too static! The last drop hits the best as it is groovy while the choppy one feels quite stale. That bass groove sounds so pro man good job!
its a Very good tutorial❤️
Good vid! Make more like this! :D
Sounds crispy
Pluck bass sound is dope ❤
And last drop is great
I liked your choice the best too, the studer acapella and chords are nice but theyd better fit a faster beat more like trance or psychedelic. Good video
I liked the second one by far
I've been using FL Studio for years, but if I had a macbook I would probably buy Logic Pro. The UI just looks so much cleaner
As a biginner Watching this video i feel i can now finally make a good house music.
I like the first drop better, the second one i personally would add as a second drop for nothing other than unexpected inconsistency
Yeah I was about to say the same thing but switching first one as second drop and second one as first drop.
agreed
Hi Alex, another great track and video, any possibility you can let us know what pack on splice you got the vocal from..??
Thanks Rik.
Is there anyway to hear full of the final product?
I love trance. This track is great.
FIRE
Awesome vid, always inspires me to make something new #logicgang
can you do a video of you making the pluck bass in serum or vital
I'm currently playing around with things like this as well. Nice video, and it doesn't depend on the DAW.
i like it bro
Thank you Alex, you are inspiring me to keep learning to put down (translate) the music in my head.
alex rome!!!!!!
If the general idea is to make the songs around a vocal melody, it would be nice to have some info on how to do that vocal melody. It kind of is the most central piece of the song. I wanna make the main attraction myself and not just use someone else's.
yeah, he explains nothing... it's a "just do what i do and trust the process" type of tutorial, which is nice for "i need to do a quick x-style song for tonight" but not for actually learning why this is a house song and not a drum n'bass or hardstyle xD. Basically for each genre he does this is basically one single video that can be re-uploaded cause click-baity title
Sorry I was late your honor new Alex Rome vid dropped
micro dosage :) the best great vid.
It looks so easy, but it is not 😁
Is it possible to make some tutorials for triplets rhythm? Thanks
Class
Could you do a build on Future funk?

What software and equipment do you use?
I'll take that last drop for 200 Alex!

struggling on the serum part where you copied the chords and made it 16 note arp. please help!
👍
Hey, how can I send you my songs? I’m a beginner and I’ve made 16 songs, and I’m stuck on the one I’m currently working on. Oh yeah, and I work on computer GarageBand.
not only did you say what program your using, you didnt say what plugin your using.
we should just use any sawtooth?
Any synth plugin should work to make the sounds in this video. They are simple sounds using only a single voice each which means even the simplest free synths should be able to pull off these sounds.
ROME FOR PRESIDENT!
Second version all day long
Is there any artists making house music using other animals than humans for acapellas? Like cows and pigs.
Matthew Herbert would count
Put both in the song.
20 gang
The Acapella has A minor but you said G minor....😮
Everyone will do those stutter effects now don’t they?
Bra plz use FL u been using pr tool ....cuz most of the plugs u using most of us don't have!!!!!for real
Nice, but i am afraid that it is not that simple for most of us.
Horribly non-existent teaching. Little more than you just surface-level verbalizing what you're doing as you're doing it with no explanation of how you arrived at those choices, how certain settings affect the sound, etc.
It's like if an art teacher tried to teach students how to paint by just saying " First I move my paintbrush like this. Then like this. And like that. Now you ". Or if a batting coach taught people how to hit by just saying so just see the ball and hit it. Instead of breaking down hitting mechanics first.
How helpful and effective a teaching method would that be?
You make great beats which I think may be part of the issue. Ideas come to you easily so you don't know how to explain your process to others well. Most of whom musical ideas, knowledge, and skill don't come to nearly as easily. So there are huge gaps in your teaching method that you can't see.
I think he has training for that!!!😉
