1) Arp (reverb and echo, c minor / or middle note one up -> major mode)
2) Chord from a Song (spread around the chords and add notes , add you to them)
3) vocal acapella (got key and bpm, just harmonize with it) (calibrate brain by using root note (here c), later up an octave )
4) use a metho you never used before
5) start with a drum ebat and make only 1 chord (by starting with the root note, then 5th and 7th and lastly minor third and second half change )
[always drop a bass:D]

I just sit in front of my computer and play songs I already know😭
When you accidentally make a sound that reminds you of a song and then you just f with it for the next hour? Yeah, I'm with ya
@@treyhudson73 hell yea lol, i make up a random melody and then it sounds like a song I know then i just continuously play the song by memory of how it sounds for hours hahaha.

Us

This the best channel ever🔥🔥🔥
Your tutorials always inspire me especially with Ableton.

I use fl studio, but even if that, it's Inspiring me
Cara, estou "maratonando" os seus vídeos. Excelente conteúdo. Ganhou um seguidor do Brasil!
I learn something new every time you post something! Love these methods.
Amazing video, just what I needed! I’m starting to write songs again and I would definitely apply some of these methods to speed my workflow up 😊
Thank You Alex, I just used the methods and made an RnB Track! Something I never knew I was capable of as a producer!
Dude #3 is a banger in the making! Nice!!
Man you make me smile brooooo
Fun to watch ur producing. Thug hug bro
Content always instructive, on top of that you always make us laugh when you get crazily intense 😂
This song shined, not because of the arrangement, but because of it's lyrics. It resonates with all of our hearts in a society where it is increasingly hard to find a relationship where we can meet the other persons expectations and we keep thinking that we are willing to lower our expectations but we actually arent.
i LOVE ur energy man !!! love from the CARIBS
I’m so glad to learn from your site. The best things I learned so far I think is to learn one new thing each track. And keep going that way and using a reference song. Also, as a worker, opening the “daw”, although I’m using a Roland MC-101 and a Tascam DP24SD, instead of daw, anyway, to open my gear every day. Because I would think I need a long time period to work on it and by the time I got there I would have to relearn my equipment from square 1ish.
So this is going to be really great. Im a really good song writer but was stopped up by overwhelm trying to have everything perfect on the first go. You are a pretty smart guy. Great job!
Also as a contribution back to you. I think if you get a Roland MC-101 you will really dig the sounds and super easy arrangement method on their in combination with your daw.
Thank you so much!! I'm trying to make my own one in this summer vacation!!❤
I'm usually in a dark mood, but deep and dark to me is focus music.
He is the truest explantainer ever :)

That last song was so good
Hey Alex, I've just purchased your EDM bootcamp bundle pack, and despite asking several times for the credentials I'm still not getting them, I need a hand with this.
Good video. I like your energy! Keep on going.
love the content man
You are a genius and extremely didactic! Thank you for these 5 tips!
Very cool,Alex
I just find a random scale and play some chords in it. Like not in their root form but just random keys until it sounds good. Then I find a bassline and then a drum beat. Then the melody basicly writes itself.
Great advice @Alex Rome your videos are always so useful!
I remember the reason I started following you was because you were a Logic user…
When did you switch to Ableton live and why?
This is good stuff!
Great content. Informative and entertaining.

90% I start song with chord progression.
Sometimes drums, sometimes started by bassline

Can you make a video showing how Kazukii creates ambient pads and formant vocals?
